Watching or playing baseball, watching basketball, I've played football and basketball, even though we were second to last place in football and first in basketball, football was still much more fun for me. Does food count? Potato salad, first time ever I was like 6 years old, I threw it up immediately, 11 years later, I still don't eat it, refuse :P -- Ugh, must you guys bring religion into everything? Good grief. I could never get into the atheism movement because now it's getting polluted with whiny, [bleep]y teenagers who just attack the other side and make real atheists (not false ones who do it out of rebellion) look bad. -- The Navy, Air force, Army, Coast guard, all things my parents have been pleading me to join instead of the Marines :D, but I'm doing what I'm doing, and in the end they're supportive. -- I could never get into learning spanish, even though I'm mexican, I've gotten so much crap from my Mexican peers from it all

I don't know, usually I can't stand that crap, I'm sick of the two party system, but I can't sit back and not know what the hell is going on with "the greatest piece of legislation in over 100 years" :P Loved when he said this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc6zy41_PJo --- It almost got turned down, it was like 6 votes away from not passing, 8 republicans voted for it, turning on its own party... (The republican voters are gonna have their head); and 44 democrats turned against their own party. Dems had 250 reps, repubs had 170 or so.

Watched C-span most of the day, watched the debates and voting for the "clean energy bill" I watched some guy read about 300 pages of the bill (the 300 pages was added at 3:09 am the day earlier...) I watched him point out all the government control that was in it, then, I watched the bill pass  probably the single greatest moment watching him read 300 pages, taking over an hour while the other side was complaining about taking too much time. They give 3 days to vote on a billion dollar bill, they don't even read it and they say "hey, trust us". Just like that fraudulent stimulus, Joe biden says "we guessed wrong", we need an amendment that says bills must be READ fully if they are 100-1000+ pages, don't guess when we're working with billions and trillions. Stupid. --- That's pretty much it, I started watching at 9am, went on until about 4pm, did the other normal daily stuff.

22nd June 2009 - Extended Agility Courses & Patch Notes
Chained_life replied to Toad's topic in General Discussion
Probably will never use the items or even get 85+ agility, but it's nice to see them giving the high level skillers/players something after all this time. -
9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
Chained_life replied to Johannas's topic in General Discussion
Decent update actually... (to me). Only thing that pissed me off was the agility/f2p update, it's going to make clan warring much less fun and dynamic -

Yeah, It was either that or something to do with the Combat Camera, but after talking with a few Marines, it's a hard MOS to get. Anyway I've always wanted to be more handy, so hopefully I'll learn quite a bit, I know unless you're reserve you're not really guaranteed the MOS you want, so, I'll just let things play out. Thanks for your service Lcpl, I'm busy, later.

Conservative Host Scoffs Waterboarding; Is Waterboarded; Say
Chained_life replied to Bloodstain's topic in Off-Topic
Oh boy, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read, comparing Al-Qaeda to "the CIA". I'm sure the CIA would gladly rip off the head of a reporter, send kids out to die in mine fields and kill gays simply because they're gay. GREAT COMPARISON. Btw, huff post & a blog? -
Conservative Host Scoffs Waterboarding; Is Waterboarded; Say
Chained_life replied to Bloodstain's topic in Off-Topic
Having morals would be a good start. Also using torture, from a purely tactical point of view, is counter-productive as it serves to recruit many more extremists who will attempt to attack and kill westerners. We can't be so easily bowed by the fear tactics of both extremists and politicians, that we go from 21st century democracies back towards the dark ages. And even beyond that, it endangers our men on the battlefield. Does anyone think anyone who wages war with America in the future will ever surrender now? Hell no, they'll go out blazing. They'd rather die a quick death than be tortured by a torture state; and that's how America will now be seen for the rest of time. That is of course unless we prosecute [bleep] Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and the other [bleep] that created the program to show that America follows the rule of law like every other country who signs Geneva and International Treaties. They should but it'll never happen. America is to polarized for such a prosecution to be possible - the right would be up in arms and it would kill any politicians prospects of electability. Plus, even if it did happen the presidential pardon system (which should be reformed) would make it too easy for the next Republican president to pardon them. [/hide] If there's anything Obama is always concerned with, it's the long term and precedent. This is why I'm so surprised about his propositions for "indefinite detentions," but also why I'm willing to hear him out first. The beautiful thing about the right as of late is, they're obsessed with Pelosi about "what she knew." Frankly, who cares "what she knew when she knew it;" if she did something illegal, prosecute her as well. This sideshow is embarrassing, just like the prosecutions of Clinton were embarrassing. However, it keeps the idea of releasing more information and declassifying more stuff to give more evidence for abuse and to prosecute. Speaking of which, why has [bleep]ey been so excited and coming out as of late?: http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/05/22/ ... tion-fear/ I think there's some evidence that there will be a prosecution/trial somewhere, even if for show. While there's also evidence against it, like I said, Obama's focused on long term precedent. He doesn't want to be bogged down with all of this, and that's understandable, but the law and precedent is more important than any reform. As a law professor, he understands this. I hope he allows Holder to follow through with whatever is needed to be done, or we are, indeed, a nation of cowards. She's 2 steps away from becoming the president, I don't want an incompetent, blatant liar being that close. If anyone in government had any morals (what the hell does that mean anyway these days?) she would've resigned or have been forced to step down. it's a big issue because she's proven to be the biggest hypocrite of them all, but I guess that's okay right? So this is what we've become, where we allow people that high, to lie to our faces, show themselves to be dirty hypocrites and it's brushed aside. Give me a break, Cheney has nothing to lose, only the moron far lefties want them to be "prosecuted". What happened to change? what happened to "transparency". If Obama had any balls, which he clearly does not, he would get rid of Pelosi, but it goes to show, they're all the same, party first, country and citizens second. Scares me to see that people out there actually voted for Obama because they thought he was "change". -
I will be enlisting in the Marine Corps once I graduate High School, get my BA while serving active duty. There are colleges out there that are much more lenient with military servicemen, it takes much longer, but it's worth it, so you have something once you get out. If I were guaranteed an MOS, I would probably choose something in the field of Aviation Maintenance.

Does the world know you're playing Runescape?
Chained_life replied to Neglexis's topic in General Discussion
Do you or don't you tell people openly about playing Rs? If a person asks if I play RS, yeah. If a person asks what I'm doing while I'm playing rs, yes. When talking to another RS player in real life, do you keep quiet? Uh, well I had this friend who really didn't want people to know about it, so we didn't talk, on the bus we did. Would you even admit to one that you are playing Runescape? Admit? if someone says "Hey do you play runescape" I'll say yes. Would you play in public places? Yes, I have before. -
Do YOU Wear a Helmet While Riding a Bike/Skateboard/Other?
Chained_life replied to Maze's topic in Off-Topic
Yes, riding bikes... That's about it. I don't skate, Rollerblade or any of that. -
Does it work well? Is it just like a normal cigarette?

I think I've seen this... I know someone around here posted a link to a website that had all kinds of interviews with all the different jagex employees.

How Could the Holocaust Happen? - A Social Experiment
Chained_life replied to Dizzle229's topic in Off-Topic
Hitler was nice to his own people, he gave them welfare, houses, food etc... They loved him, they were living "good". That's how he gained his popularity and power. Eventually once he started taking land/countries, he turned on "allies" that helped him, slowly, one by one. It's interesting, you should study it more. We didn't do anything about it, because FDR wanted to keep us out war. -
Most of my earlier school life was: 7:10 - 2:15 (if I remember correctly) Now it's whenever I decide to get up.

No. They should be punished. They should be given a big fat F, the teacher should say out loud that this student failed and needs to do better, maybe then he will get his act together. I had a teacher that did that in 4th grade, worked like a charm, no one wanted to be 'the kid' that got an F. If you screw up big time in the real world, you typically aren't given that many chances, depending on situation... it also goes down on your record. I have to take multiple public buses and a few trolleys to get into the city to turn in my work every week, don't tell me you can't, with your mommy driving you to school every day.

This happened to me in public speaking class (Yeah, that's what it was called). My moron partners refused to do anything, and when we were supposed to ALL go up and present it, I was the only one that went. Thank god my teacher saw this, failed them and gave me an A. I'm all for group assignments if my partners are motivated, but in my class/school... The kids never are.

Excuse me? I didn't read the whole thing, but only for hijacking and bug abuse? Not RWT??? the thing that destroyed the old runescape? -

[hide=reason]On Hollywood Trashy women "A lot of these women look like post-op transvestites today" On Autistic Children "A fraud, a racket. ... In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out" more of what he has said: http://mediamatters.org/search/tag/michael_savage He's an older guy who didn't grow up with parents who catered to his every need, they never pandered to his feelings either. He says that he has had jobs taken away from him (before he became a talk radio host) by groups like affirmative action who would put less qualified minorities above him to fill their quota. He's on the fence, he bashes Bush all the time, bashes Obama all the time, Bashes Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, FOX news, CNN, MSNBC, New york times.[/hide] [hide=Examples of his show]On a Kid talking about overthrowing the government: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ze1SGzcu ... re=related On Miss USA: On McCain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpiqq5cKXyk On Che Movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM6mpNgo ... re=related On kids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85oH5UDX ... re=related On Morality http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlCD1Mbh ... re=related[/hide] I've listened to all radio hosts, whether they be liberal, conservative or independent, I've listened to Lionel, Maddow, Limbaugh, Levin, Savage, Hannity. One thing I've learned is, because liberal talk radio doesn't do as well as Conservative, they don't typically go on tirades like the conservatives do, they're calmer with their words, very PC, but they can be just as "hateful", I personally don't care what you say as a person. People say Bush should have been hung, if that doesn't top what Savage says I don't know what will, as a person who dislikes Obama I would NEVER say that. They lie, or exaggerate. It's hard to say Conservative talk radio hosts lie all the time, they don't. They heavily exaggerate though. Yes they have lied before, but it doesn't happen often, or groups like Media Matters will be on it, they will post on youtube for millions to see and they're toast. They watch themselves VERY VERY carefully. They know the business. Liberal talk show hosts do the same thing, but always tend to make a joke of it. Talk radio is for Conservatives, TV and news is for the liberals (with the exception of Fox News). I wouldn't say Fox is as biased as MSNBC, it has more of a CNN Bias, they watch their tracks, there's an obvious bias but always give the other side a bone. Now this is the commentators, I don't think the actually news is biased at any of these news stations. Shepard Smith (fox news) is a big liberal, the others are fairly fair I guess, don't watch them much. I had hope for CNBC but after their boss told them to stop criticizing Obama I gave up hope. On him being banned? I'm with dizzle229. I'm called a sexist because I oppose feminism, I'm a homophobe because I don't agree with homosexual marriage, I'm a racist because of this and that, because I call a black guy "black guy". That's how it goes for us right wingers, but I deal with it. I gave Maddow a chance, I gave Lionel and Air America a chance, but I couldn't stand them. I did Conservative talk radio, I don't listen that anymore. I watch MSNBC for my liberal bias and FOX for my republican bias (hard to say they're conservative). And Savage personally is a good guy, a lot of what he says makes sense, I usually zoned out when he went off on the nut job tirades They can say what they want, if they want to call me a sexist, homophobe, racist etc... Fine, I'll die defending that right. It's more important to keep what is great about this country rather than try to make a political point. What I've come to learn is they're all the same, left, right... Liars... doesn't mean they aren't good people, but don't believe everything you hear, trust me. I consider myself a Social Conservative, so of course I tend to lean on the right side. I'm a realist though, Social Conservatism is dead, if not it will be soon enough. Aw well, I missed the golden age, move on with life. I'm rambling on, 3am and I gotta go to school at 12.. Good night Ladies and Gents

Terrorists? I have no problem with pouring water over the face of a person that would laugh while cutting off the head of an American child. Here's how they torture: [hide=Real Torture] [/hide] They forfeited their rights when they flew planes into our buildings and killed our people, resulting in the "physiological torture" of thousands of children, wives, and husbands. Personally, I could give a rats [wagon] about what any country Europe thinks about us, or any country anywhere.

Their priorities are a joke. "Let's work on f2p Skill capes, Mobilizing Armies can wait" "OKAY!". Idk, maybe they're just pandering to them in hopes of them coughing up a few bucks for membership. I've never heard of a company that puts the non-paying customers above the paying ones. Their #1 priority should be to satisfy their PAYING customers, to the fullest extent. Yeah whatever, I know you can click a few more times, blah blah, f2p is harder, blah blah, they deserve it even though they have contributed nothing to Jagex personally. Aw well, 2 more years \

If you can't talk to your friends without cussing up a storm, that's your problem. I really don't care for the censor, religiously; jagex has screwed us over already, so why not allow the derogatory names for gays, whites, blacks, Hispanics etc? They allow the use of using God's name in vein and that's really the only problem I have with cussing, besides being a gentleman around the ladies of course. I say keep the censor, little kids play. Whether you like it or not this is a game for kids... Playing cards? Good grief. Have a little self control.

I'm a wannabe Marine at the moment, hopefully late next year I will be able to enlist (bank account ready, high school completed etc.) I slacked off too much early in school and I just recently (10th grade) decided to get my act together. I used to have an average of 1.7-2.0 GPA when I didn't care, now I'm averaging 3.5-3.6 GPA :D. As for my MOS, I may just be infantry/grunt, or become involved in radio/communications.
