Well I think it was pretty unexpected and unneeded from JaGex too.But it angers me to see so many 90+ slayers whining how "the noobs" got something again.I mean,they should just cross it with a "meh" instead of saying it shouldn't be done because it's too low level content.Whatever they say JaGex is gonna make it anyways.So whining just doesn't help.Yet they still whine and shout about the new monster being bad and how it shouldn't have been made.Instead,we could have another one of those "fixes",eh? Its mainly about how they spent their time making an unneeded and unasked for slayer monster, while people have been begging for one above 90 for years. Essentially, this sums up my thoughts. Its totally unjustified that we slayers should go for 7 million exp without a new monster to kill.

Exactly. -65 is low, 75 medium, 85+ high imo, Jagex does not need to serve the small proportion of players (20k) that have 90 slayer. Stop being selfish, all it is that is wanted is a high slayer monster that drops rare items that will have a massive sale price due to small amounts of possible item extraction from the slayer skill. If you get bored with slayer, go do something else in Runescape or maybe even....dare I say.... in real life. Just don't complain. What part of this do you not understand? Slayers go for more than 6.5 MILLION Exp without a new monster to kill. Who says Jagex should only cater to the low levels? When a player becomes level 90 in slayer, is he suddenly not important? No, he is exactly the same as anyone else. Nobody would quit because a monster was released that they couldn't pie and camp until they had lots of phat lewtz.

Okay, so rage zombies are easier to survive than Romero zombies? I'm not so sure I would go with that, but I will admit that they both have their pros and cons.

I agree with the saradomin sword. Such a fail name. All the RFD gloves should be changed to their respective metals, with the final set being dark gloves.

If you get 99 str for e-spect you will be disappointed. Indeed. Sadly, 80% of the Runescape community doesn't realise this.

To be honest balance is usually the best option when it comes to melee. Don't go hunting for e-spect with a 99 skill.

The reason we follow the ZSG is because a lot of the points are realistically based. Sure, nobody can be sure what will exactly happen, but I think Max Brooks does a damn good job of predicting it.

Why in the world would you leave 2.5k on the floor, if you're getting that every kill?

BSS is just about the same as a D [], but has no negative attack bonuses, and +3 prayer. However, a DFS is far superior for Armadyl, DKS, and dragons. Since you don't have much cash though, a Blessed Spirit Shield would be a good choice for you. I would get a BSS and maybe save the rest. Another reason for the DFS is it has +7 strength. Although normally a rune defender is greater for camping or slayer, a DFS and its str bonus does have its uses. The DFS is basically redundant for melee combat. period. (Dragons are the one exception for this) My main point is the +3 prayer and no negative range. I believe that those 2 factors outweigh the DFS's minimal boost in defense over the BSS.

Is there a source for this? Try basic logic. Unless a monster is using a sword or some other bladed weapon, it is basically punching you. And most monsters don't have weapons.

Cave horrors are terrible. I actually have them blocked for slayer, because they are so bad.

Ugh. Get a 99 because you like the skill, not for E-spect or money. On another note, I can't find the word E-spect used anywhere, so I declare that I created it.

Assuming zombies will be able to use tactics will uproot our entire plan. Honestly, if zombies are smart, I'd rather shoot myself, as there is no way to survive(Assuming these smart zombies are fast as well, since its generally accepted that a zombie is either smart and fast, or slow and mindless)

Difference in defense is minimal, +3 prayer is nice, but the main thing is the lack of a negative range bonus. Its also 15m cheaper. Jesus christ I have gone through this with so many different people :shock: I wouldn't listen to ross quite yet, the defense difference isn't minimal, its actually around 20 less than dragonfire in ever category.For armadyl, you miss out on +8 magic defense, but you don't have a negative range bonus. If you're strapped for cash go with the blessed spirit shield. The dragonfire is far better,however. Actually, the crush bonus is the same (A tiny bit better), and most monsters use crush. As for the magic defense, I think the extra 5 range bonus makes up for the lack of 8 mage defense, if you use the maxed setup, since magic defense shouldn't be an issue at all anyway. Besides, if you are going to get hammered at +200 defenses, the extra 20 isn't going to help all that much.
