  1. Ahhh!! I didn't see that until just now. I'm no good at coming up with puzzles, I only like to solve them. Whoever has a puzzle can post it instead of me!
  2. It was so windy I couldn't hear them half the time. o.o That's why I spent like 10 hours writing subtitles for the video.. turn em on people.
  3. Forum Name: Wongtong FunOrb Name: W0ngt0ng F2P/P2P: F2P I have read the rules and accept them with no argument: Yarp. What rules will be used for each game? Will we be allowed to choose?

Great job, what'd you have to do?

You probably got that idea from the 3rd stanza, but the poem is written about China :P (esp the pollution, smoking children and beggars)

Sometimes Sometimes I want to go back there's something about the air here something not quite right Sometimes I want to go back to smell the smouldering incense burning cigarettes held by children Sometimes I want to go back to taste chemicals spluttering out of a factory a dark scarf hiding the bruised face of a blackened sun Sometimes I want to go back to see a truth gone out of fashion, the smile of a stranger who secretly cries in his sleep Sometimes I want to go back to hear the cries of a beggar shattered limbs, gaping wounds and a broken heart Sometimes I want to go back to feel the stare of a man guessing at my being secrets and dreams laced under my shut lips
  7. Hrmmm, I have an idea. How about people who are keen to make a video (whether it be by themselves or with a friend) send a message to someone (probably l0rd) saying that they are eager to make a video. The person who's organising all this then makes a list of all the people who want to make a video, and then each week draw someone's name out of a hat or similar. The chosen person then gets given a challenge (e.g Drink 10 gallons of milk in 10 minutes?!?! or Follow 40 cats) and they have to record a video and post it here. :D And if someone wants an interview I guess it could happen over something like skype if you don't have any friends.
  8. I cut out a lot of the questions because the interview ended up being around 8 minutes long or something and I thought everyone would get bored. Oh wellllll, at least I kept the best bits of Dreamtongirl.

The poem was very nice, but the dude's voice kind of ruined it. I just stopped the video and read it to myself after the first few seconds of him speaking. I liked it. Aww, I thought he had a calming voice. But yeah, I guess some poetry is better left read than spoken.

Found a poem that I really liked. Read or watch the video if you have the time and tell me what you think of it. It's called 'Milos' by Anis Mojgani. I made curry tonight and I went shopping today. ;D

Just say you prefer to be called an intellectual badass. Nerd isn't a very offensive word anyways.
  13. Maybe you should just make a blog with all the posts, sort of like an online book.
  14. ^ Mmmm soup(?)
  15. It doesn't bother me either, or fingernails scratching against paper. As another poster above said, cotton against teeth does though. Also, the feeling of steel wool or rough brushes. Makes me shiver. Why cotton against teeth?

Umm, to prevent the overflow, add either add some more flour or tapioca (it's rather amazing in pies actually!) to help absorb the excess liquid and if you're finding it too runny still, try to stay away from open topwork (lattice for example) and stick with a closed top crust until you figure out the necessary proportions so no leaking occurs. Also, always have a drip pan under anything you have in the oven... makes clean up so much easier! [hide=plain cake] [/hide] [hide=cinnamon cake with chocolate-chile frosting (buttercream melting :()][/hide] [hide=first attempt at lattice work... I've gotten better, I swear!][/hide] [hide=can't remember if i posted this or not: honey-lemon pound cake with lemon icing][/hide] Thanks for the tips, so I add more flour to the pie crust dough-thing? Those cakes look delicious :D

I made apple pie for the first time in my life last night and I tried homemade apple pie for the first time in my life last night. :D It's nice, but all the apple juices started leaking everywhere in the oven for some reason. :(
  18. Ew thanks a lot, now that's all I can look at D: Yeah, I never noticed it before. Damn it. Same, god damnit.
  19. Oh man, that guy has to be a troll. I just read his other posts and stumbled on a picture of the sex doll that he made out of magazines or something.
  20. I lol'd. Looks like an arrow has been shot through your heart.
  21. From his immaturity. That's a good sketch.
  22. Recently I've watched...Where the Wild Things Are (Bleh!!!), Memento (Pretty good, messes with your head), Requiem for a Dream (good but a bit exaggerated), Paper Heart (A 'documentary' about love and how the female protagonist doesn't believe in love but then she ends up falling in love), it was okay.
  23. High-School isn't really that bad.. well it shouldn't be anyways. And sometimes telling other people secrets (regardless if it's anonymous people you will probably never meet) will make you cry because secrets are a touchy subject. Especially if you don't usually tell people you personally know. So don't worry, you're not pathetic.
