I really wish this would happen to me. I had a skiller which I made in about 2005. I was doing pretty well, but I forgot to set recovery questions (how could I forget that?). One day, I can't log in, and then I immediately go to the Recovery Questions and realize my mistake. >.< Look him up if you want, the hacker turned it into a very decent account. I still miss it, though.... every day. :(

I think that it would be nearly impossible to get some items, and to get others impossible. However, I think that if more players were more self-sufficient, we'd have a more honest game.

I recently found something odd when creating a new account (Hail_Of_Joy, a play-on-words based on a friend's username): When attempting to trade with another player on Tutorial Island, I get the message, "You must help Sir Vant before you can do that." Any thoughts?

I've already posted here, but I have more to add. Until I was about 10, my family couldn't afford television. I was very fit, and active back then. After we got television, I just sat in front of it all day, watching show after show, and eventually I became overweight and far less active. Though eventually, I grew a bit and now am not overweight, but I still have some flab I'd like to get rid of and like to be in better shape. With RuneScape, I also grew addicted to it at one point. I'd play it for long hours, and even dream about it. I decided to quit eventually, and only recently have gotten back into it. I now have a new goal, which is to play less than before and have more fun with it. Also, now I am more mature and take things in a more positive light, as well as trying to be helpful to people. Although, if I hadn't done any of that, I can only imagine how much better-spent those hours could have been. Imagine if I had spent thousands of hours practicing guitar, or exercising, or studying. I can only regret what some things have done to me, and now I can do something to stop it. Then of course, I also use RuneScape to socialize and stop boredom. If I've completed my priorities, I play RuneScape, talk to friends and have a good time. At least this time it's a far different relationship: no more endless grinding through the game, no more addiction, and a better attitude. Edit: RuneScape has also improved my grammar a lot. When I started this game, I had little education (homeschooled, but missed two years due to my mother's double bypass heart surgery). I used the forums, and picked up the grammatical rules there, and slowly but surely my grammar and grasp of the English language greatly improved.

This seems kind of like the pickpocket that mails you back your wallet and ID. :S Good that your friend got his account back, by the way, but I feel bad for him missing out. He probably has new friends on his list, and he didn't get to work for the 99's or the money.

Haha, the Mime hates me too. :( My main started in 2003, and he only got the Mime random twice: training Agility after the release of the German Worlds. :-#

Study for about 10-15 minutes, then take a five-minute break. This helps your brain retain information. :D Also, background music/noise helps concentration.

Can you have someone assist you in Magic and Construction so you can set up portals and not get experience? I'm a skiller, you see, and so I don't want Magic experience.

Runecrafting is a real pain until about 50, tbh. But if you must know, there are two methods that work fast and cost under 2m. Method number one is Body Tiaras. You just create Body Tiaras, banking at Edgeville, and get 500+ experience per trip. You lose about 1m with this method. Method number two is Fire Runes (the method I used). You use a lot of Rings of Duelling (a lot). You teleport from Castlewars to the Duel Arena, then craft your Fires, bank at Castlewars, and repeat.

The good old days... : After RS2 came out, I thanked God that spells couldn't 'fail' to cast anymore. Also, RuneCrafting wasn't as big a thing for me as some people. I remember that I had *just* started out in Classic before RuneScape 2 came out. Good old days, too. I, unfortunately, moved to Members' for those new graphics! Now my level 3 main (RSC) is still level 3 instead of level 73 or so. Nonetheless, I still miss it, even though I was only part of it for a time.

If I put in all the time I used on RuneScape into something more productive... to put it simply, I'd be happier. :

Does directing the portals in your portal room give magic experience? :-#
