  1. You're incredibly late. Everyone's already completed the Clue Fest relating to Avalani, sorry try again next year.
  2. Macros... bots... rules... boring...
  3. In other news: more capes added to RunesCape! The customisable colors for the herald capes are nice, but the cape itself is just flat and unappealing to me. I'm really happy about the clan cape change actually. I thought it was just stupid that some noob could gather a few strangers off the streets to make a "clan" then kick everyone out so they could keep thier purdy custom made cape. Then these people wouldn't want to join an actual clan because they just love their own little cape so much. Kinda ruins the points of clans. Thankfully, Jagex changed that. You need to be in a clan to wear a clan cape.
  4. I say it's better. Lots of new content. If it wasn't for the vast amount of updates along the years, I probably would have gotten bored of this game by now. Oh, and this botting issue isn't really new. Have you played before the restricted trade era? Tons of bots. There are just more now because Runescape has become more popular, therefore more players=more goldsellers=more bots. Don't blame Jagex, blame math. One last point: I can't think of a single case where Jagex's supposed "greedy evil money grubbing bastards" business model has affected the game negatively. I mean actually negatively, not just stupid crap like a single popup that tells you to subscribe or something insignificant like that.
  5. Can someone please explain? I really don't see what's going on, you people need to explain your stupid posts. Inb4 [bleep] jokes? [/hide]I'll give you a hint: The video tag is "Floppy." I knew it: a lame innuendo. You guys are really clutching at straws. Or rather...
  6. Hey, if there was a magical computer that could tell "which country all the bots are coming from" why doesn't it just ban all the goddamn bots?
  7. Can someone please explain? I really don't see what's going on, you people need to explain your stupid posts. Inb4 [bleep] jokes?
  8. I bought 90% of my herblore BXPW supplies months ago.
  9. If you're training range and magic, you should certainly use longrange and defensive casting while training them, respectively. I'm not sure of the specifc places or methods to train, but some people tend to forget that you can train defence at the same time as range and magic.
  10. I don't see how you think the Mahjarrat never knew about Guthix. Guthix was worshipped throughout the history of Gielinor, so I'm sure they've heard of him one way or another. Sliske is also a conniving magical bastard, we can't be sure what he's capable of. Who's to say Ashuelot Reis isn't truly a nature spirit, but instead has only been cursed by Sliske to become an undying ghost? This doesn't seem like a "gaping plot hole" to me, just a bit of vague storytelling and a bit of inexplicable dark magic. It's magic. He's a wizard and he used magic. No further explanation is required.
  11. Unlike some other games, you don't really have to worry about "screwing up" your levels in Runescape. You can't make any bad decisions and ruin your character or anything like that. Just something I thought you'd like to know, as it's something I often worry about myself when starting a new MMO.
  12. I hear the vine's special it boosted in power if you switch to a stronger weapon, as the vine attacks calculate damage based on your current str/atk bonus. Also, they say that the vine attacks also take on certain special properties of your current weapon, such as keris and balmung dealing extra damage on certain monsters, as well as barrows set effects. If all this is true, it sounds like it could have some awesome applications! Someone should try the spec on a dagannoth task and switch to a balmung; the AoE as well as the balmung damage boost could be beastly.
  13. Men wearing women's clothes? Isn't that more of a lumberjack thing?
  14. Um i dont get it :/, how would those help train range faster >.>? He's saying it would be a better idea to use slayer + cannon because you don't have maxed melees already.
  15. I played back in 2005. I thought people over level 100 were hackers or something. "Obviously the level cap must be 100!" I thought. Goes to show how often you'd see high levels back then, so little I almost doubted their existance.
  16. Now we have to worry about magic defence and range defence? Good freakin' luck.
  17. My response to all the people who "knew" the upgraded whip would be better than chaotics:
  18. Uhh, that's called defence. All attacks are affected by defence, expect for Korasi's. This special seems like it could be useful against low defence monsters. By the sounds of it, it won't be too useful in PvP because it stops if your opponent is out of range.
  19. Thank you for the heads up. As I don't play anymore, I want to see the feedback on this new whip. +4 slash attack +2 strength Special attack hits 10 times, but deals a lot less damage per hit. Can also be "dodged" apparently.
  20. I honestly don't remember that part. I'm not doubting you, but I remember most of the end of Prisoner of Glouphrie was just everyone happy that you rescued the gnome, I don't recall them discussing Arposandra much. I kept looking for more information after the quest, but none of the gnomes even mentioned the lost city.
  21. Uggh, I could see that happening. Didn't it turn out the lost city of Arposandra was just some musty little dungeon with a "warped terrorbird machine" in it? Or was that "only part of it"? Also, Yu'Biusk was a deserted wasteland with a box in it. There have been so many letdowns so far with all these potentially epic quest lines...
  22. Ooh man, that looks pretty nice. Just got 85 slayer recently, so maybe I can put it to good use.
  23. Especially Port Phasmatys! I see what you did there. Yes, Port Phasmatys is a rather unpopular place that players rarely visit, so now that the amount of players online has dropped drastically, it will be even further deserted, therefore more of a metaphoric "ghost town".
