50 million gold pieces How much it will cost you after using the runes to cast the spell and selling the strung amulets.
-
All tasks are easily pray-able. If you need more defense use Verac's brassard and skirt. If you need to protect from something use Proselyte top and bottom.
-
Thanks for the answer! if it's not too much to be asked, what prayer bonus was that with? I'm not quite sure what it was. I think it is SW Cape+Fury+Proselyte Chestplate and Platelegs, What ever that comes out too.
-
My friend calced it out for me and says its only worthwhile to use if you re-pot every 5 mins.

Dungeons are usually scaled to the higher levels. While i was in a duo with a pre-dungeoneering maxed player most doors would require 90+ stats to open. If you had 5 lvl 135+ you could have easily defeated the boss. I know when doing large floors with others near my level we have no time defeating the boss, unless we mess up some.
-
No, just means y'all either missed a key some where or skipped a door. I suggest you go back and look.

I guess a DDS to deal out damage. But its up to you. I normally use the EE as i didn't have DDS"s on me. You can also cannon to help kill them faster, but i never did as i thought it was a waste.

You have 2 options. Prosy to pray protection from melee and tank the range/ice breath, or wear defense armor and tank both the melee and range as well as the ice breath. If you do the first replace some food with prayer potions, if not then bring more food. Bring prayer potions if you plan on using piety, which i recommend. Bring a Tort filled with food and some food in your inventory as well. Don't forget the Ele/Mind/Body shield or a DFS. I suggest to bank all the bone as they are some decent gp to be made. You can easily bank and use a Fairy Ring to get back to them. Just bring your normal tanking inv, and a 1h spec weapon if you have it.

Source I'm so glad we have a knowledge base for this kind of things. <_<

Getting level 70 gets you a little over 70k tokens. Only cost 30,100 tokens for the necklace. But since you need level 70 to buy the necklace, its the only reason you need to get to 70.

[spoiler=Task Exp/Hr] These were taken from someone with maxed combats and the best abilities you can get. They should still be about the same for some people unless you have terrible low stats. The 5 on the bottom are the lowest exp/hr tasks, but also take into consideration the ones you rather take time killing instead of doing better exp tasks that you can't stand. I can't stand to do Hellhounds, LRC, Kalphites and i got Waterfiends blocked atm as I'm ranging/maging my tasks. [spoiler=Zarfot's Task Exp/Hr] These are what Zarfot has gotten. But thats with 99 summ, no exts, turmoil, or anti-fire potion.

Taking out all the url at the beginning gets rid of the redirect to swiftkit.

Dungeoneering-Skeletons coming from walls

I believe the Smuggler can give you a hint if you ask him. It's not a very useful one, talking to the skinweaver reveals more. Thats how i figured out what to do. -
I use this, except i use Arcane Stream Necklace, for slaying. The shield you can switch out for Mage's Book/Unholy book/Tome of Water if you need more offense/prayer/money saving. If i need prayer i wear my SW cape. For ranging I used the normal ranger gear (boots, snakeskin if cheap, ring etc.) and if i had the money Arma Body and Legs, if no then Black D'hide or if you like Karils. Also don't forget about the Dag Kings. Might not be fast, but you can get some nice profits and decent exp.

Yes after buying an item, you have to wait 4 hours before you can sell any of that item. One example are battlestaves. You can buy 100 every 4 hours, thats the max you're allowed for those 4 hours. But if you had 1000 b-staves in your bank that you wanted to sell, you can sell them all at once (thats if you didn't just buy in in the last 4 hours). There is a time and amount limit on how many items you can buy, but there is no limit on selling items. This also works with traded items.

Don't herbs take 90 minutes to grow, which makes your calculation little more than a daydream ? When I do the math for snaps I get 17000 profit per patch, so unless they grow twice as fast as any other herb, Ill stick with Avantoes(30,000gp profit per patch) thanks. Doesn't anyone pay attention to any of which has been said? Thats 4.5 mins of work to get that amount of GP. If you only logged on for 4.5 mins to do a farm run, you would get close to 3m in an hour of just doing a farm run. Not including the time it takes for the herbs to grow.

Solo if you can't find anyone you want to duo with. Always best to go in with a friend since you get more exp and it goes by faster. And you also won't be as bored. I soloed the lower floors since i didn't want to go with people i met randomly. I sometimes went with a random person, but they either quit or if i lagged they wouldn't allow me to join back. Thats why i say to try with a friend, or someone you at least can rely on.

If you bank all the bones, you can use Claws of Guthix and break even on iron dragons. Profit with all the other drops. But when i did this, it was while I was on task and in Kura's dungeon. As Zaaps stated, DKs and Barrow are great places to mage to get cash. Not so great if you're going for speed.
-
It can't be both fast and cheap. For fast methods you end up having to spend more gp, but to get it cheap you have to burn more logs making it slower. Also some reasons is because its a boring skill and a waste of time to get to 99 if you don't want too.

I can't take too much slayer at once, so to me, it is. I'll eventually get on to slayer here and there, but I get burned out from Slayer a lot faster than regular power training. I agree. Slayer can burn you out if you do it often enough. I took regular breaks from it, but ended up just doing it shortly after the break lol. With the FSH you can range/mage more tasks now, and easily make some money. Of course there are better ways to train range/magic and slaying is easily done though melee, why not mix it up some? OT: It seems you have some options to go on, but now it comes down to how much you wanna spend. AZ's are great exp and also some profit. As for DH'ing, you might spend a little more money but you'll also make even more back. Seems like it'll come down to how much you can make and comparing that to the faster speed of DH'ing as to the slight loss of exp but some profit. AZ's also drop some decent charms. Idk much about the Undead Zombies, and idk how well the charms drop if they even drop them. And then there is the slow method of slaying for charms.

Statius Warhammer tbh. It lowers defense by 33% with each spec that hits. And you can get 2 specs off the bat then wait a sec for a third. But when i used it, it was 10m and since it degrades you can't sell it back. But it works wonders when teaming corp.

At the most, use sgs for healing and prayer. Nah if he can afford sgs, I would recommend that he buys dclaws instead. Healing/prayer isn't much of an issue when you can use brews and considering how fast it is to bank, while dclaws usually guarantees 2 hit kos on dharok. I agree, claws would be better as you get faster kills and need to heal/restore prayer less often. Also combined with Soul Split, if you have it, you can restore heal at the cost of a prayer point, maybe. Void is also worth it if you don't train slayer and are fighting low hitting monsters. Or you do FFA, such as Bandos or Corp, where there are going to me a mass of other players and you won't be taking a lot of damage.
-
Dragon Bones It seems to be the trend with them. Items normally rise and fall all the time.
-
But anyway, I agree with you on the actual "go out and try it" stance. Nothing is better than empirical observation on a large sample size :) I meant the link you posted. And um, I think we went waaaaaaay off topic haha. Sorry about that :x
