Guess I could just stick with broad bolts. They hit 30+ as well. The special of diamond (e) doesn't hit that often and when it does it doesn't guarantee a high hit. Tried once again yesterday. It went slightly better again then last time. I got hit luring the first healer, but I managed to brew. But it went wrong again with second and third healer. Maybe next time.

I have the same problem. All goes fine till the healers show up. then I mess up with prayers. I already got more than 600k ranging experience at the moment in fight caves alone. And I melee the first part.

I'm kind of curious as well. I always mess up at the healers. Some claim you can outshoot the healers, but I can't manage that with 97 range and diamond (e). So it would be nice if i could weaken Jad first with broads and then use the high end bolts mentioned by the person in the opening post to finish him off, no matter what the healers do.

Why not make the dragon crossbow available for some insane X amount of archery tickets. And make it untradable. That would actually give the ranging guild some traffic.

From my experience: If you are lacking just one level you can use the regular greenman's ale. That usually gives you 1-2 inventories worth of boost. Sometimes none! But on average I would say 1.5 inventory. (did it a lot). I would imagine some similar figure for the +2 boost. If you need +2 it would also last 0-2 inventories, and on average 1.5 inventories. But if you only need the +1 boost and you use spicey stews I would imagine you could do more inventories. 2-4 probably. I actually did once a whole extreme level with greenman's ales (the regular one). It's slightly annoying, but doable. edit: And because greenman's ale wasn't selling on GE I actually just bought them in Yanille pub for 20gp each. yeah, I am that kind of person.

I actually put all of mine on slayer. I was 97 slayer and struggling with motivation. The experience pushed me past 98 and then the last level went quite smooth.

Does this mean you can have two portal rooms? If so, I didn't know that.

I tried the basic method a few method of firemaking a few months ago, and just couldn't pull it off consistently. This week I went back to it and suddenly a penny dropped. I nowadays do it mostly right! HOORAH! Firemaking is suddenly so much more fun. I did 4 levels of firemaking yesterday just because I was enjoying myself. I was making a big rectangle up and down at the GE and "giggle" sometimes interfered with the people making the regular straight line. Or I would just make irregular patterns. Whatever I felt like! Thank you very much for this guide. I love this way of making fires!

They could just increase the training spots on existing worlds, as they have been doing so far. See for instance kuradal's dungeon.

Don't know either, but I definitely had the experience it helped. And super defense pots aren't exactly expensive. So why not. It is a certain percentage. May it be 10%, 20% , 30% or more. Whatever it is, it helps. That's why I said you could compare it to wearing something with slightly better magic defense stats.

Are super antifires worth it? I don't know. It's nice to have them, but they come at a hefty price tag. I just figured that you cannot take your GP to the grave like in real life, so I just spend it on herblore (and summoning and prayer). But I doubt a single visage will get you very far in herblore. You might want to do some calculations before. Superantifires are nice, because you can pick your outfit based on stats, instead of dragonfire protection. As for slayer. I'm nowadays a casual slayer since I already have 99 slayer, but I tend to wear verac skirt and top instead of bandos nowadays. I have bandos of course. I just see verac as a combination of proselyte and a high defence gear. It's only a few points below proselyte. So I tank a lot in verac, and still using the prayer capability of it. It prevents having to have protection prayers on all the time. And the other benefit is that you don't look like all the other slayers. They all wear proselyte, bandos, slayer cape (t) or fire cape. So I wear verac + soul wars cape. I suggest you invest the money in a skill, and preferably one you enjoy doing or one you know is going to be useful to you in the future. You can also set you some other small skilling goals that are not so obvious. Why not go for 75 crafting (slayer ring)? Maybe you can use the assist system for that, but I just did it because I always think it is fun to set these smaller manageable goals, and then research and experiment a bit on how to accomplish them.

I tested cannoning aberrant specters today, using range as well. The idea was not to spend any prayer pots. So I only used my free prayer points for protection prayer. I teleported to house when inventory was full (It went full before my prayer had run out - 81 prayer). Used mounted glory to edgeville. Banked. Teleported back to summona with slayer ring. Left the cannon where it was in the first place, so I just had to start it again. I used a macaw familiar. The idea was to see if even with suboptimal conditions you could make profit. (suboptimal: ranging gear, macaw instead of BoB; not on slayer task) A macaw pouch lasts 31 minutes. I banked many times. I had a net profit of 296k/31 minutes Not quite the million per hour that some claim, but then again, conditions were probably not optimal. Ranging is slower than melee. Prayer gear for ranger is restricted (actually had verac skirt on). Didn't take a BoB for extended trips. But still, you make a nice profit, about 600k/hour. Even when you are not even trying to be perfect, or attain perfect conditions. I didn't use prayer pots or food. Of course I have a reasonably high prayer and range level (81-97), so this makes this method a lot easier, but I'll bet I could be more efficient if I had ranged them. And I'm not sure I was quite lucky with drops in this 31 minutes. No mystic. 1 snapdragon.

You can use cheap food and bank more often. You have a spirit terror bird. Load it up with trout. Put your inventory full with trout. But to be efficient with banking you would really need the slayer ring ability. With it banking becomes a breeze at specters. If you can't afford a berserker ring, why not go for a warrior ring. Slash bonus works well with whip. Use superdefence pots! (if you aren't). And preferably also super att and super str. Or use up first your food, then use your free prayer points. Tele to house. Top up prayer. Use portal to bank. Bank. Fill up with trout. Rub slayer ring. Back to specters. The higher your levels get the more efficient you get. So see it as a temporary problem.
