I'm really excited about this partnership. It's nice to see Jagex taking their hats off to fansites -- and not just Tip.It. As far as fears of being "invaded by RSOF noobs" go, I don't think it'll be that big of a deal -- personally, I think it'd be great to get more members here. At worse, the amount of spam will increase, but as it's been said before, that can be handled by Tip.It mods. At best, however, we'll gain a lot more members with valuable insight, advice, and a different spin on things. I think it's harmful to seperate ourselves by going, "Ew -- you use Rune HQ? Or RSOF? Get out!" The key thing connecting us all is that we're all fans. Why not welcome in more people who love the game as much as we do? Also, I think it's a bit... pointless to fear that Jagex will "take over" Tip.It. After all, all they really have rights to is the content of their game. They have, and will never have, any right as to what the Tip.It filter, etc., is like -- they don't own this site. That's like saying that Jagex will contact Google and demand that they increase their filter, and block certain words/content from appearing on Google, simply because you can find RuneScape content through their search engine... Overall, this news really leaves me feeling hopeful. It'll be interesting to see what comes of it.

I would love to be able to join in on riding the wave... if someone were to offer me 500K for my granite mace, I'd sell it to them in a heartbeat. My friend and I each had offers for 1M+ on our maces, but, sadly, we didn't have 1M worth of junk to trade away with it. :? Oh well. I've decided just to keep mine, because it kinda looks cool. Reminds me of the Tower of Orthanc

I saw that, and totally LOLd. But seriously... what could have possibly gone wrong to make them need to shut the worlds down for this long? Do you really think it was due to their route-finding corrections causing lag? Or some just... uber code fail on their part that would have caused major bug abuse?

Thanks for visiting my blog, and for the advice. I'm glad I'm not the only one who got a case of the Mage Guild blues. I figured it was closer than Varrock when I went there, but I haven't really devoted much interest into RC - perhaps it'll spur me into getting it up moar. The teleports are a little nifty, too :3 And yeah, I'm looking forward to getting quicker catches at Chins - I just don't think I've got the hang of how to set up the traps yet. Since my last update: 67 Magic 55 Hunter 42 Construction I'm happy that I finally met my goal to gain access to the Mage's Guild by getting 66 Magic, but... upon visiting it for the first time (albiet a little exciting) I found it to be... boring overall. I have no need to visit it again. Don't know which direction I'll take skill-wise now. I'd like to continue working on Hunter for a while, but I'm having difficulties getting the hang of Chins :[ I'll figure it out eventually.

Only a few hundred more to spin, then about 1.5K more bows to string, and I'll hit 70 Fletching. ^_^ Then I get to start Alching them all for 66 Magic!
