Got the game today! And a Timid-natured female Froakie... on my first attempt. And a female Charmander... on my first attempt (Naive nature as well, not bad either!). Not too shabby, in my opinion. Oh, I got a Ditto through Wondertrade. Only took 3100+ Pokemiles.

Unrelated to X/Y, I'm creating a team called "The Fire Nation" (I'm sure it's been done before) to screw around with... - Sozin['s Comet] will be Groudon (no explanation needed). - Ozai will be * (Phoenix King herp derp). - Azula will be Reshiram (Blue Flare!) - The generic Fire Nation tank-guys will be a Forretress (they're weak but they never die). - Zhao will be Arceus with splash plate (Get it? He dies to the ocean spirit! And he's an Admiral of the Fire Nation navy!) - Azulon will be either Giratina-O or Heatran (spin blocker or revenge killer...? probably spin blocker) *: Censor...

Haha. That's some fun stuff. I need to really start learning that (I have a few books on this topic), but I just can't find time... Speaking of which, I'm writing an ARM emulator for a very specific piece of technology*. I know there's a few ARM emulators out there, but it's more work wrangling with them to work with me than it really should be. I can't even get SkyEye to compile on Ubuntu because of a conflict with GNU liberty. Blagh. Open source. So far I've implemented about 20 instructions. Dreading to implement the MMU... ... ... *: The piece of technology also includes a PPC processor, which is something else I'd like to integrate into my emulator if I can find time, but that's very low on my TODO list because it's genuinely unnecessary.

If its anything like mimicking 3D in Adobe After Effects, which I doubt, I understand it's usefulness. Are you making a game? Yea, I'm making a game. It's going along very nicely. I used to roll my own game frameworks but am giving Love2D a try. It is so lovely! Speaking of which, I implemented the console today. It can inspect any bit of the game state, modify it, and also log helpful messages and change rendering options on the fly. This will help speed up debugging exponentially (seriously!). Oh, and I have an HP desktop (10+ years old and my first computer) that I used as a home file server recently... I like HP because of that. Never had any other HP computer. I would suggest Lenovo for laptops, though. And if you have money to burn, try and get an enterprise/business laptop, not the normal consumer lines. It'll be a bit uglier (usually) but they are built like rocks (at least Thinkpads are).

I managed to create an awesome depth sorting method and got it working today. It sorts from back-to-front using a topological sort. However, it uses lines to determine if an object is in front or behind another. Works nicely for strange props (such as those at diagonals) without enforcing a strict isometric view:

Are you sure you didn't trade your drygores for a tomato? A purple tomato looks suspiciously like a wand crammed into a book, but doesn't offer the strength of tier 90 weaponry. You'll need seismics or use ascension / drygores (which is considerably cheaper...).

.. This wasn't intentional, I'm guessing one of two things happened: 1) He had virtus gloves, and some large bulk item that he was merchanting. The he clicked on the virtus gloves instead of the bulk item by accident, and didn't notice until he hit the 1 gp to see what the selling floor was. 2) Virtus gloves are the items he was merchanting >.> and pressed the 1gp to see what the lowest someone buy for, he just wasn't counting on someone having a bid in there for 1gp. It was a rage sell. All other pieces sold for at or above med (I made 20m in total off all the pieces). This didn't. I'm surprised it sold at all, actually... So broke even, I guess, in the end. Not like I need a virtus wand / book anymore considering it was nerfed.

I figured it would be.. regardless, I don't have a phone/cell phone. And asking her out would be difficult considering I really have no means to get anywhere. I agree about Facebook not being good communication, but it's pretty much the only thing I have right now. I think this is the best, but again the lack of phone is killer...
