Barrows, using protect prayers. Green dragons, also using prayer, not neccesarily protect but at least the strength and attack boosting ones. If you got 82 magic you could barrow very well with polypore staff + ice blitz (max hits of 230 and 260, pps is 150-200 gp per cast and blitz about 2k). I realize 82 magic is a good bit ahead of most of your current levels, and it will cost a bit of money, but in the long run the increased kill speed is very noticable.

Fastest ways are: Frost bones Overloads/recovers (84+ herb), highest potion before that Superheat gold until Artisan's, doing ingots 3 in mithril, then adamant, then runite.

Polypore is much better than crawlers, just like tds and glacors are much better, because the massive cost of crawlers (2m/hr) isn't worth the faster effigies unless you want to burn your cash (don't care about bank value & you have more than enough money to buy everything else you ever want). It's still profitable, with cannon + polypore staff it should be 1.5 hours per effigy or so.

The first one is either a red triangle or a yellow circle. The second one can be violet triangle and red circle, or green pentagon and orange circle, or blue triangle and purple circle, or blue triangle and orange triangle. The third one can be green pentagon, orange square and red circle. Basically, multiply the number of sides (1, 3, 4, or 5) with the colours numbered from top to bottom (red = 1, orange = 2 etc.). Then add up all the disks to the number shown.

Virtus robe top, bottoms and mask Arcane spirit shield and dragon defender Ragefire boots, possibly steadfasts are also good. Goliath/barrows gloves Arcane stream necklace and fury Ardougne cloak 3/4 Berserker ring (i) Polypore staff and chaotic rapier Claw specs, 2.5 ovl per unicorn, 3-switch every time, dreadnips if you got them, 2.5 pray renewals, 50-60 uni scrolls, lantern, darklight, house tab, 5-10 pray pots, spare rocktail or two. Rest is empty space for drops. Spec recover optional. Arrange defender-rapier-fury-darklight-claws and one empty space in the 2x3 top left spaces in your inventory - the empty space is for when you're claw speccing, so your defender doesn't go all over the place. Put dreadnips somewhere top left as well. Very straightforward kills, on low pop worlds you won't have to lure much (300 pop is sad :(). If you had a titan you'd want helmet scrolls, because with melee+mage you can titan spec all the time. That means either farseer helmet or Neitiznot. Theoretically you could try a mage+range hybrid with void deflector, ragefire boots, onyx (i), some cape (alerter or ardy I guess), Virtus + Pernix tops, ccbow + pps and all three void helms + darklight + void top and defender switches, but that's a whole lot of switches (3 helms 3 tops 2 shields). Or you could mage + melee with further maxed mage gear - seer's (i) etc.. Either method could use an iron titan, but it's annoying to use as it can flick the prayer when you're trying to darklight so I don't recommend it.

Well my sample is 1 solo med of course, but yes you can :P. Went tding with polypore/Ahrim's and my new arcane - sold my Bandos and Armadyl staff to afford it. Claws 13 kills in, but the lag is awful - I died yesterday after 6 of those 13 kills, did 7 in 2 ovl doses today (42/hr with this lag not even using dreadnips = 55-60 kph consistent for a pro for sure). Bought bcp back with the claws, only tassets + abs to go and I've made myself an arcane to keep (sort of).

95 effigies banked does cut into my bank space, but I have no problems. I keep a bunch of useless quest items around (the original Regicide summons etc.) and for ZMI you need a full bank anyway, so I don't see a need to clear out items.

You won't have to reclick the fishing spot but it will interrupt the cycle of 3 tick fish catching, reducing your xp.

Alright I'll go fix that cow, and yes they use range-based melee as far as I know, I have 400+ ranged defence now so...

Familiars for damage output (on anything except ganodermics) go as: Steel titan with scrolls > iron titan with scrolls > kyatt with scrolls (extremely costly) > steel titan > iron titan = wolpertinger > geyser titan > spirit dagannoth Approximately anyways. Basically, the first two are worth using, and the familiars without scrolls, but not the kyatt due to the 1-2k per scroll.

I would recommend using brews over rocktails. It's not great because you do suffer from lowered stats, but the doubled healing per inventory space makes up for it. If you find you can't beat him with melee, you can also try ranging with ruby bolts.

It most definitely does interrupt the fishing, but the trick is to break the cycle of fishing to start afresh each time - the first fish is faster to catch than those thereafter.

There's also a couple of other methods out there, though Riptide covered most of them well: Cannon + titan + maul on rock lobsters, using the 7 lobster spot past the King's lair ladder. Cave crawlers, mostly greens but lots of effigies (high cost).

How do you get those figures for a large dungeon? The max XP I have got is arround 2 K :blink: The most xp for a floor is in the 220k range XD. And the highest tier brutes are 141 combat iirc with a max hit in the 600s, also not affected by hoods. As people have said, bosses don't get easier than the level 80s sometimes and when that happens at your combat level you're just in trouble :(. There isn't a dungeoneering clan in p2p who would take you I think, unless you have high non-combat skills (probably at least 80+ mining/smithing/herblore/woodcutting/fishing) which will get you into some non-rushing clans.

Slayer is mildy rewarding, mostly in alchables (rune items, dragon daggers/skirts/legs etc.), bones/ashes and sometimes herbs. It's not great but it will profit unless you cannon - cannonball prices have gone through the roof.

For teams, bcp to squeeze that extra 2% dps out of your claw specs.

Switch to c6 for the last half of your floors or the last 5-10 if you have only a small number of floors. Most people going for high xp do all floors from abandoned 2 (fl 30) and up as 5:5 large, so with 5 people, 8x8 rooms, complexity 6. When to switch depends heavily on how quickly you can do c1s, c2s, c6 smalls and c6 meds, so I can't really give a general answer, but I believe Grimy had a calculator at some point to determine the ideal breakoff. c2s are like c1s except that they have fishing spots. You can fish them for very high equivalent xp/hr, though you'll have to drop them all. This is much better than solo c1s and a bit better than team c1s.

:) :mellow: :( Broke hood for primal legs last floor just because, then did a solo med (gulega). Turns out you really can tank level 114 forgotten rangers and skeletal mages :D.

A shade under 270k to go which will happen through skilling and Livid :). If farming keeps up with the money flow, 99 herblore is up too - I'm wasting little xp past 99 for strange rocks as I only clean torstol for that anyway.

^^ Did some PP (130k to 92) and fm for rocks. Toolbelt is really messed up :(.

Got 92 fishing in c2s, 2380 total :).

I use all four, NW if coming from Edge (POH tele), SW if coming from ROW tele, SE if coming from Naff, NE if coming from spirit tree.

... Have you ever used Torva, Komodo? You'd pray mage of course, not melee. And I've had multiple reliable reports that Storm of Armadyl is in fact better damage output on Kree'Arra, Graardor and K'ril than a chaotic weapon. Polypore would be somewhat less than rapier, but it'd also give you an easy +30 magic defence.
