  1. Pretty good, 5 ranks in 3 games, highest ranking officer in the game () and such.
  2. I'm playing MA. I must spam here or die :/.
  3. no i think then actually training rc would be faster. Faster, but glacors would remain more efficient. Storm of Armadyl on mithril dragons is pretty good too, if you wanted to afk (costs a lot more).
  4. Any reason shortbows aren't fletched at all? Especially on the early levels it can't hurt to get that extra bit of xp. It'd be good to make a proper comparison of various methods at various incomes as well, right now you're only showing methods without comparing them.
  5. I got 180-190k consistently at 86-87, before Zamorak favours, so I think you're using a sub-optimal spot (or afking a little).
  6. I think Torva makes a pretty big difference, torva + steel titan and defender over a shield. But I can't say I've tested it.
  7. Well, there's a list of tasks sorted from best to worst, and you only have to do the top 10-12 tasks. You can block the 5 most common bad tasks and skip all the rest. Abyssals are pretty common but not one of the best tasks. Dw, anything sub 25 is good enough in my book. I still get 60k+ xp per floor even with 4 deaths and all. Reset now, c2s. An interesting thing to note about Rocked's keying is that his floors are usually around 16-20 minutes, but he always survives. I dunno if you noticed, but he uses his personal gates liberally to escape death. Like when we had that 104 runecrafting door, instead of running into a room with three 111 shades to open the door and most likely die, he gated out instead and let us tank the shades so he could open the door without dying. Most other keyers would've just opened the door and died so the team could continue. Nirvana ended up opening the door anyway, but whatever. :P Sounds like an xp keyer :P. Got 89 fishing from c2s, 11 floors to go. Need BA asap .
  8. DKs are good money but drop no effigies. Glacors are good money and drop lots of effigies and charms. Both require fairly high stats to be great, but can be done with relatively low levels. Curiously, the two best money bosses require magic - if you don't have at least an arcane stream necklace, 90 magic and overloads I wouldn't recommend them.
  9. It's around 30m for the lot. It's also very much not worth doing prayer potions, you're much better off doing extremes or even super defence.
  10. That's going to be oak, which is 389 gp for 60 xp. Using the most planks per hour is the key to increasing xp/hr - oak larders and oak dungeon doors are the best for this. Use a butler to fetch planks for you.
  11. Dw, anything sub 25 is good enough in my book. I still get 60k+ xp per floor even with 4 deaths and all. Reset now, c2s.
  12. Poor fellow *pats head*. I'm just doing faster levels atm, combat is going to take ages as well (1.2m xp per level -.-). I got 94 cooking now, can do strange rocks with rocktail w/o burning (yay?). Also did 3 floors, 18:, 22: and 22:something, got berserker+battlemage each time (yay for not pathing -.-). One occ to reset, then c2s, then 89 fishing.
  13. Err, the highest number of actions per hour I believe? Monkfish, falconry, smelting gold, cutting gems?, herb + allotment runs, fletching any bow, cooking any fish, regular gnome course?, congold, teaks, whatever altar you can use most essence at (fires?), master farmers, burning any logs backwards (pyrelord doesn't help), building any furniture, oak chairs works.
  14. Please use the sticky for advertising your channel :). Locking this.
  15. That's the idea :P. You'd gain extra binds in exchange for 0% accuracy in a certain combat style.

Drink a dose, spec with eee. This basically, and secondly: make sure you are at low health when your overload wears off (many easy on-screen timers available, you can also check the special bar on your whip/staff of light). If you're at 400 lp you'll get 500 lp back and be ready to ovl straight after, if you're at 700 lp you can only get 290 back.
  17. To make money, collect things you can alchemise. Gathering value isn't difficult, but pure cash is much harder. In P2P that's going to hurt when training summoning or construction, in F2P it matters only if you want to buy a rune platebody from the shop.

I would just like to reply to this once more, then let it rest. I showed two things: Melee does a lot more damage than magic even using worse gear (whip and piety). Even with relatively few melee gear pieces, melee is superior to magic, and each additional switch makes melee stronger without making magic worse. The H&A guidelines state: "If you are going to challenge someone else's advice directly, please use evidence to avoid flaming and drawn-out disagreements." What evidence do you have that, either: magic deals more damage than melee (at reasonable stats and gear), or that it takes over 2 seconds to switch three items (for a reasonably experienced player). I have shown my evidence - empirically tested magic max hits and attack speeds, melee max hits drawn from the Tip.It calculator, empirically tested health per glacyte and glacor, simple arithmatic to connect it all, plus a few assumptions on accuracy (which do not really affect the argument unless melee is a lot less accurate than magic which it is, in my experience, not). Finally, two experienced glacor hunters tell you that they do, in fact, manage those switches perfectly fine, just like myself. In short, melee is better than magic on the glacytes.
  19. Well, your ranged level is a bit low, so naturally it's going to take longer to switch the ranged prayer. 99 ranged would be a lot better than 89, handcannon would also be quite a bit better than kxbow. You could use void ranged w/ glaiven boots, but I think you'll just need a higher ranged level. As for your handcannon question, I don't know, but 90+ is certainly enough, 85 probably as well.
  20. Simple rules: "giving up" an attack styles means your accuracy will always be 0% with that style! Extra binds are in addition to your current binds and can be anything, including 225 ammo. Assume you're only giving up only one style at the time (not trading range+mage for double extra binds total :P). You can also assume that you'll find a hexhunter bow for ranging, or that you'll get 99 magic for maging, if it's your current stats/binds that prevent you from using a style. And, because you can only add 3 questions to a poll: How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear shadow silk hood? How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear a blood necklace? How many extra binds to give up the ability to wield a hexhunter bow? (personally that's 1 - 3 - 3)

Well, you're wrong on a couple of counts. Firstly, fire surge maxes at 440 with staff of light and arcane stream necklace and takes 5 ticks to cast. A whip maxes at 502 with void, defender and max strength gear and takes only 4 ticks to attack. That gives you an average of 44 damage per 5 ticks for fire surge, and around 63 damage per 5 ticks for whip (100% accuracy, 95 strength, turmoil, overload - with piety it's about 59; with deflector it's 65). Glacytes have 1000 health each. That means you can assume about 4.5 fire surges to kill one (220 damage per surge on average) or about 4 whip hits (250 damage per hit on average) which means 13.5 versus 9.6 seconds. Storm of Armadyl hits 337 on average and takes 4 ticks, so that's 3 hits on average for 7.2 seconds per kill. For all glacytes, you lure enduring with surge, kill two and one-hit the unstable (no titan) so that's 3+13.5+13.5+3=33 seconds versus 3+9.6+9.6+2.4=24.6 seconds versus 3+7.2+7.2+2.4=19.8 seconds. Secondly, switching is not hard at all. As you say, you can mage perfectly well in tank gear - you can mage even better in full void deflector, using maximum strength gear (but arcane stream over fury) and a melee helm. All you have to switch is weapon (and ring of wealth if you care to, even with it equipped 100% melee is a lot faster). Of course each switch makes melee better - amulet of fury, celestial surgebox/defender, mage helm/melee helm, but they are all optional. Autocast is a simple matter of f5 > select any attack style, switching back is f4 > click fire surge (disable all but combat spells so you can see easily). Thirdly, inventory space is easy to come by at glacors. Banking time is only 2 minutes, so if you take 2 overloads instead of 3 you're losing only one minute per hour, which is well worth the significantly faster kills that you get meleeing glacytes. Killing the glacor takes maybe 12 casts without csb (440 max, doubled, +80 = 520 damage per cast avg, 5000 lp) which is 36 seconds. That gives you a total kill time of 69 seconds, 60.6 seconds or 55.8 seconds - still 100% accuracy so make that 20% longer - which is 43, 49 and 54 kills per hour (note that these estimates are still on the high side). Meleeing also saves you 10 surge casts per glacor kill as well - that's 4.5k extra loot per kill. Considering that the loot for a kill is in the 50-100k range that's pretty significant. Adding chaotics would increase melee dps by 10% and magic dps by 4%. CSB would increase magic dps by a further 5%, more on the glacor itself. Finally, you should really take the time to get an arcane stream necklace.
  22. The monthly records are up to 384m for Dark Lust and 382m for Suomi. Who will be the first to a 400m month, one of them or someone else way past this? Tezz also passed Simon's old record and is now at 338m .
