Well, the reason for glaiven over dragon/steadfast is that +10 range att > +2 melee att & +4 strength. But for archer vs berserker/vigour you get the same bonusus, and I doubt that's worth it.

Vigour is a bit of a doubt, if you have an imbued berserker use that for sure, regular berserker not. Glaiven would be good if you feel your handcannon misses too much.

Combat familiars before iron are really weak, I'd suggest using an elemental titan and claws over eee. Kills/effigy would be 1/70 or thereabouts, gp/hr at 3m?

Rigour boosts accuracy. Ccbow is already accurate so rigour doesn't matter as much, if it's over 50% accurate with rigour (which it is). Ccb sucks not so much because you lose much killrate using it, but because there are clear better alternatives that are also cheaper and easier to use. @ Jeremy: ranger's/glaiven boots + berserker (i) is much better. @ Kandy: ^above applies to you too :P. Defender definitely helps a lot on Darklight, bring one.

Glacors would be the best money and effigies as well as charms for any boss monster. Getting 95 summoning will help them a lot as well, but you don't need a unicorn with turmoil. Use the melee method outlined in the tip.it guide, gets you a nice little bit of strength xp + Storm of Armadyl isn't efficient atm.

Well I have to agree and disagree a bit, I use a rapier, but I don't always manage to get my titan to attack perfectly, so I do lose attack turns. Rapier would theoretically be better. As for Ardougne cloak vs fire cape, fire cape has the higher damage output for all chaotic melee weapons and +1 slash to aid darklight and +1 ranged for the handcannon (lol) so it's better.

Darklight is slash, so Ardougne cloak doesn't affect it (fire cape does). Also fighter hat has a pretty big negative range attack. I wouldn't recommend using those, onyx ring is a doubt. Void is a nice accuracy boost too. With void max str: 64+51 slash times 1.1 = 126.5 With void max atk: 64+57 times 1.1 = 133.1 With max accuracy melee: 64+74 = 138 With neitiznot/berserker ring: 64+63 = 127 And for maul: Void: 64+178 crush times 1.1 = 266.2 Max accuracy: 64+201 = 266 Neit/berserker: 64+180 = 255 With void being the higher strength as well of course.

You should definitely get a good cape (fire, soul wars, Ardougne, even god cloak) and sell your dragon platebody and platelegs for Verac's skirt and Guthan's plate. Borrow an amulet of fury and use either void or barrows for the boss fight.

I think I would trade 3 effigies for ragefire boots at their current price, but back then, at 45m, I was happier with boots :P.

I'd go with maul/handcannon, either in black dragonhide with max str bonus (so dragon/steadfast boots, berserker ring) or in elite void with some extra ranged attack (glaiven boots + fire cape). Claw specials for sure.

You can do that, but you should be aware that it will not endear you to the experienced dungeoneers as you won't be able to pull your weight in a dungeon.

The best ranged class ring is desperado. There is no way to retrieve arrows but to pick them up. Ranged is also the worst primary combat style possible in dg.

Ferocious ring has no effect on ice strykewyrms though? Fire cape has the same effect. I have to correct that post a bit, didn't take into account that the 1146 max includes a +80 boost from fire cape/double damage. That makes for 122,6 dps which is clearly a lot better still, luckily :P. @Auror: looks like a name change to me.
