  1. I think it's not worth using summoning potions as they are around 1500 gp per dose, which means you'll lose about 2k gp per hide (which is 4k) instead of just 500 gp on the yak scroll or time for banking. Personally I bank bones with scrolls, use hides on yak (as well as adamant plates etc.) and I manage to fill up on ~30 kills in 10 minutes or so.
  2. Lootsharing something unagressive is your best bet for green and crimson charms, you can try Chaos Tunnels dust devils (if you can reach them without dying, have your partner lure the mummies and rocktail to 200 lp for the gargoyles). Blue charms are pretty rare which means they are annoying to gather from most monsters (I don't think there is even one unagressive monster that reliably drops them) - kalphite workers are unagressive.
  3. You now have the prettiest total level - ruin it by getting max total please .
  4. Aaaalmost 80k produce but I'm tired (so about 5k done today). Also got 20m xp this month (personal record) and of that xp, 2.5m is ranged, 2.1m slayer, 1.9m hp and 4.9m melees spread across all three (and there's 1.1m mage and 1.3m woodcut - don't ask). At this rate I'm maxing hp first in under a month, then ranged in about 5 weeks, then melees in some 9 weeks and finally slayer in 13-14 weeks (but I still have the woodcutting week this month to replace with a slayer week!). I tried dark beasts in Kuradal's but they are too boring so there's no way my melees are getting ahead of ranged again, or I need to start skipping hellhounds in favour of blue drags. Only level for today: 93 slayer. Pretty much one level ahead of Zaaps, I now want the smallest possible ice stryke task to max on (few 700+ rapier hits would be nice, or maybe 900+ maul hits? And a 1000+ claw spec + fire surge) so I can block them afterwards because I'm not doing the stomp-patch-of-ice-for-magic-xp game. Livid farm is starting to grow on me now that I've a hatchling red dragon to look after (it's really cute). Turns out the +10 summoning boost on the citadel battlefield doesn't let you talk to them however... :( O, and my total level is 2273, and my overall rank is 22735. That somehow seems fishy to me.
  5. I'm the same, I feel all weird when it's not at 99/99... Same feeling I get when I am listening to a song on YouTube and skip a few seconds at the beginning... I have to go back to 00:00 each time or it eats me from the inside. I have both of these. Though prayer's gotten better since I've been using housetabs to teleport away from slayer tasks .
  6. Awesome way to max total 99s, congratulations .
  7. The best weapon is the maul in my opinion, though rapier is really close, probably as good as or better than the ss (at 99 attack). Maul is easy to use with picking up drops etc. As for using zspears, I don't really get it - the charm gatherer would be better off using a maul, as overkill isn't really an issue for him. For the person finishing them off, surviving is an issue because they are constantly soul splitting fiends at below half health, which reduces the amount of health they get, but then again all damage is spread across two persons anyway. Ideally I'd say both players should use titans with scrolls, and I imagine 500+ is possible, if not 600.
  8. ^Very good point. CCbow is, for example, not even worth using at frost dragons, as the extra kills don't pay for the supplies. That's in void (low accuracy to start with) and a cannon (accuracy based on your primary attack).
  9. 421 isn't even that much - my best is 408 or so in that time, and that was just me and an iron titan, not even maxed stats or a steel titan.
  10. Jagex doesn't actually read your appeal - they (or a bot) look at the evidence and ban/unban accordingly, only reading appeals if they can't decide.
  11. Black demons, definitely not. Waterfiends are best not cannoned.
  12. Surefooted is good at ape atoll, but at the advanced courses fail rate is much less of an issue, so it's sort of a low level tool (but useful).
  13. Yay. Probably going to block them for being annoying and me not needing mage xp.
  14. I believe there's a cutoff at wave 6 - at that point the healer needs to poison the penance healers twice in order to kill them (don't quote me on that though). When I charge my penance horn I do wave 1-5 usually.
  15. Waterfiends do have worthwhile specials against them, which is to say, Korasi's sword is great on Ancient Cavern fiends and dragon claws are good at high attack levels on any waterfiends. At Armadyl god wars, the dark bow spec has higher dps than a handcannon, as your average spec hits around 500 in 4.8 seconds (with rigour) whereas the average handcannon spec hits half that in 3 seconds not even including accuracy. Neither is used much of course, as healing specials are superior due to the slow killcount. EEE is great for DKS because it dramatically reduces the number of brews you need. It closes the small damage gap left after you've used ss and food drops. Octarine is otherwise correct in that it heals pretty well, but it's actually a bad thing that the bow scores a hit because EE/EEE do not take attack turns to use, and crossbows tend to have higher dps than the god bows.
  16. If you are using a one-handed weapon, use either void with deflector, or if you need defensive gear an eagle-eye kiteshield. If you are slaying you should either use an unholy book or a two-handed weapon. At current prices it's probably better to get 99 firemaking and use a handcannon than getting an unholy book.
  17. You can bring Vecna's skull and some (extreme) magic potions if you do some shorter trips. Either ice or smoke barrage would be good, but I recommend ice. You use the same amount of casts for around 20% less damage per cast, which means xp/hr drops by 20% and gp/xp goes up by 25%. You should get around 200 crimson charms per hour, or about 1 crimson per 1k magic xp. That's around 8000 crimson charms on the way to 99 magic, or 3m xp. From your current level that is (close to) a unicorn.
  18. It's the aura slot. Auras are bought with loyalty points and provide tiny boosts as well as fancy lights on your weapon. Their effects are so tiny you really might as well forget they exist and save your points for a nice title. Example auras: Call of the Sea: can be used for 1 hour, then it must recharge for 3 hours. It increases fishing xp by 1% or less. Poison Purge: works for 5 minutes, then it must recharge for 1 hour. It decreases poison damage by 50%. The better auras are oddball, reverence and sharpshooter. None of them work in pvp.
  19. For bursting skeletons, use a staff of light (reduces costs by 15% as well as being the best staff offensively at your stats). You should go for a mix of prayer and magic attack bonus. The best gear (without needing to gain levels) would be: Ahrim's top and legs Unholy book Amulet of fury Any mitre or third-age druidic wreath Soul wars cape, Ardougne cape 3/4, or third-age druidic cloak Infinity boots Barrows gloves Staff of light Third-age druidic items are in the 500m range, so they're probably hypothetical.
  20. Congratulations :). Next time I read this you'll have a max cape :P. Edit @ below: I did, but I won't post until max cape!
  21. Gravite 2h will only train strength. If you want to really boost your xp/hr, look into prayer flashing: have 15% attack and strength set as your quick prayers and and activate them right before you hit (deactivate right after). Done well, you should get the full bonus without using any prayer.
  22. You can melee the barrows brothers with a dragon scimitar, the question is if it's worth it. With those melees, extreme potions, elite void, chaotic rapier, dragon defender, fury, dragon boots, imbued berserker ring and fire cape/Ardougne cloak 3/4 you could probably make decent money at Barrows. You do not have piety or turmoil, prayer potions don't restore very much, and your accuracy and max hit won't be great to start with. Each bit of gear you don't have will reduce gp/hr, and without a rapier I think your gp/hr would drop below that of gathering fungus or berries.
  23. I do them for points, as All Is Great suggests. They die very fast for their level, due to low lifepoints. You can easily use protect from melee there if you find you take too much damage. The only catch is that you need a good combat familiar to speed up the task, because you can't cannon them. Wyverns are good crimson charms, irons and steels do have low slayer xp/hr but they have good profit (as slayer goes) combined with good effigy rates.
  24. SS vs Zs for waterfiends suffers from exactly the same problems as the berserker vs warrior ring research. He did 20 minute tests and more importantly, he used a stopwatch to count in-combat time (e.g. manually starting it when attacking a monster, ending it when it dies).
  25. Slayer won't give you a good barraging monster really, and without prayer anything dangerous is out too, which leaves Soul Wars, and that is quite good xp.
