  1. 250/hr is too high, especially including banking etc. I'd say 220ish. The profit is pretty low as you make only 2.5-3k per ash, and some 2k from a whip per kill, so you're talking 5k per kill not considering rapier recharge, pray pots, boost pots, yak pouches and stuff. But it does beat whiteberries.
  2. Only when wearing the full set. You should use Varrock armour, gold mining legs/helm/boots, and goldsmithing gloves.
  3. At 91, PP is 250k, knife fighters 300, menaphites 200k I think? At 81, PP 150k-200k? knife fighters 250k, menaphites still 200k? At 71, PP 100-150k, knife fighters 200k, menaphites 150k? I'm really not too sure of the rates, but the order generally is knife fighters > menaphites > pp except for the last tier of PP. PP also gets faster if you have someone else of your level training with you, to find doors faster.

    Banking the ores is a waste of time even if you're as broke as you are - with urns you won't be able to bank more than 10 or so gold ore on the first of your trips. When I mine (alching the ores) I take dragon pickaxe - nature runes - gp - eee - 2 juju potions with lava titan summoned and a 1-dose potion I drink and drop straight away for inventory space. In that 45 minutes I use 16 urns. I use gold mining gear w/ Varrock elite done.
  5. You're right that rock lobs are a waste of time - charm drops aren't increased over the weekend. You can barrage things besides ape atoll skeletons, such as mummies, but skeletons are far superior. As Nifflin said it's hard to find a spot. Barraging can bring in 400k xp/hr at a cost of some 5 gp/xp normally. Bursting is 250k/hr and costs less, but I do believe barraging is more efficient.
  6. TzRek Jad, a pet that will require 99 Summoning, 99 Slayer, 100 zeal points AND you will have to hand over a fire cape. Obtained from Soul Wars. Well...actually... :( Nitpicky :angry:. I'm getting 99 slayer before that update anyway (I'm really not, unless I keep getting 400k xp per day). But someday, before max/comp cape, I will be able to without losing access to a fire cape.
  7. Best/most impressive xp gain rank I've gotten I think (note: 134 combat). Very tired now. I got 1 effigy in all that xp :(. Also like 50k melee xp to 96 melees, but I'm too tired.

  10. #2, in case I want a Jad pet sometime. Used one cast of vengeance and like 4.75 brews on Jad, failing a prayer switch every so often due to checking my magic level to see if I could cast vengeance again -.-. You only get 7 magic levels per 15 seconds :(. Either way, deflects took him down to the healers so I just clawed. He didn't hit me once during that time, I just had protect from magic, tanked two melee hits, switched to deflect melee and he kept meleeing. Yay story :D.
  11. I would like to see a science skill, which can be hybrided with mining (archeology), smithing/crafting (engineering), magic/runecrafting/summoning (golems, greater undead) and so on.

  13. I'm not sure, but two things: 1) Bots. 2) Slayer brings in large quantities of runes for those people who pick them up. It's possible that more people are slaying or something like that.
  14. You can cannon black dragons, using your yak to bank bones and putting hides in your yak manually (they can't be buried so it's convenient :P). You can then take a minute trip to bank in Zanaris and do another 10-15 minute trip. I'm not sure on the actual profit but I'd assume it's around 100-110 minutes for an effigy and about 1m/hr profit?
  15. Dharok's is still very good if you can pull it off well. By that I mean that Dharok's can compete raw dps-wise will all the best slayer gear including FSH, except chaotic weapons. Similarly it competes with chaotics off-task even though you can use void deflector. It's just really inconvenient to maintain that low health, the overkill loss is huge, and you can't use it on various 'special' monsters such as abberant spectres (need nose peg), metal dragons (due to being slash/crush) and suqah (due to not being able to pray vs multiple styles). But in general, Dharok's is pretty decent on things like mutated bloodvelds and LRC. Just make sure you have a strong familiar or cannon to finish off the low-health monsters.
  16. Blackjacking bandits in Pollivneach is the best xp at your level, it's not very relaxed (or rather, pretty annoying imo) but it's faster than pyramid plunder at least until level 81, when monkey knife fighters are better anyway. The only reason to do Pyramid Plunder is that it's relaxed.
  17. BXPW works for each skill, but some skills have xp boosts outside the xp weekend (prayer) which do not stack. Summoning is capped at 10% bonus xp.

The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 70 prayer and King's Ransom - piety 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. @ Ezkaton: You don't need proselyte, Bandos is better.
  19. Using that kind of supplies, you're talking super attack, super strength, prayer and shark? That's close to the worst bosshunting money you can get.
  20. Between nature runes and ZMI, ZMI is faster. You could try mud runes - you need magic imbue (82 magic) and a binding necklace, pure essence and water runes, as well as lumberyard scrolls, rings of duelling, steam staff and an earth tiara. 1) Gear up at a bank. Have the necklace, staff, tiara and ring equipped. Have an abyssal familiar summoned. Fill any pouches and your familiar you have with essence. 2) Use a lumberyard scroll. Run to the earth altar and enter it. Stand next to the altar. 3) Cast magic imbue and use the water runes on the altar. You should craft 1 mud rune per essence. Empty your pouches and familiar (take BOB on the summoning button) and craft more essence. You have 10 seconds to do this, or your magic imbue spell will wear off. 4) Use a ring of duelling to teleport to Castle Wars. Deposit the mud runes and withdraw essence. 5) Go to step 1. At current prices, you will use, for 15 trips (small + medium pouch and familiar): 1 binding necklace (717 gp) 15 lumberyard teleports (81420 gp) 2 rings of duelling (2070 gp) 30 astral runes (4470 gp) 585 pure essence (73125 gp) 585 water runes (7605 gp) For a total of 169407 gp. You will also use 5302 gp in abyssal parasite pouches per hour. You will gain, per 15 trips: 585 mud runes (201240 gp) 5557,5 runecrafting experience 1290 magic experience For a total of 201240 gp. The net profit would be 31833 gp per 15 runs. I don't know how many trips you can do per hour, but I think the runs are pretty short, shorter than ZMI. You could perhaps get around 100 runs per hour? That would be some 37k runecrafting xp and 212k gp.
  21. You can use fast sc or 1elitesc. The latter is based in world 70. Either way remember to make bows and equip them without arrows by the 17 minute mark.

  24. If you slay, herbicide, bonecruncher, gem bag. Spend tokens on rapier recharges (90 gp saved per token) and get an antipoison totem if you intend to go pyramid plunder etc. High ring tiers are great, too.
