First Livid Farm spell unlocked, also did hellhounds (2 effigies), steels (335k elite + effigy + d skirt), irons, 2x miths, 2x suqah and spectres. Am about 1 day away from 93 slayer, but I'll be doing Livid Farm as well unless Zaaps gets closer.

That's max total with 52 prayer and 1 defence? Good luck with that :thumbup:.

The research used decent enough and similar gear, just no potions, which is ridiculous, also it was based on a sample of 30 minutes. Which means no ring did in fact kill 2 additional black dragons in the end on a total of 40.

Draconics are the best xp, commons provide many more seeds though, like 1/5 vs 1/50. Carrion + igneous is also decent I think.

Wasn't a typo, he actually got more kills without a ring. He didn't actually put that order with >s and <s, just tables and graphs.

Moved to Help&Advice as this is more of a simple one-time question. Defensive barraging would be the best xp in all those categories together, barrage ape atoll monkey skeletons. Void requires 22 prayer and 42 in each other combat stat.

What do you mean? If there is no data on no block task lists, don't research them - there being no data means there are not a lot of people using such lists, which means any data will have limited application anyway. Better to research a common task list such as max effigies.

Wear your best range armour with ruby bolts or void deflector with diamonds, avoid all the specials (mines, 750 hit, clones and freeze). Practice runs recommended. You can use 1 super restore + 1 regular restore for every 7 brews you have, to maximising healing. Spirit terrorbird + kyatt with scrolls as familiars.

Block tasks that are slow melee xp but fairly common, such as metal dragons. On the other hand those monsters do have the nicest drops.

The numbers are quite interesting, just wish your sample size were a bit larger.

Finished my 10th statue of Dahmaroc today, got 4 construction rocks, 2 agility rocks, 2 runecrafting rocks and a farming rock. Also did 25k Livid Farm produce, like 70k slayer and I got a red dragon egg which is now incubating :). Oh, and 4001 hours played as of today. And I got the [Caution: UN Resolution 3478 Violation]ty frog prince convicted of scamming. I'm happy.

Much better than your previous setup, and yes, you will make some decent money off barrows if you use that method.

Will the Varrock armour work without wearing the gold armour gloves? The full gold mining set provides a 2.5% xp bonus to mining xp (no gold pickaxe needed) Varrock armour 3 and 4 give you a chance to mine an additional ore and get the xp for that ore. It works out to be some 10% bonus xp. The full gold mining set, when worn by someone who also has the Varrock armour, will act as both sets at once. Wearing only part of the gold mining outfit will get you a smaller straight-up xp boost and not provide the Varrock armour effect. You can give up the gold mining platebody for Varrock armour though.

You would need to test it for every task list - but there's not that many viable ones. Also, in this case you'll have to adjust your test to the data available.

I'm fairly sure I understand perfectly... and I'm sure the raw frequencies don't matter. I have heard from Vex, who analyzed some data, that blocks change relative task frequencies.

Besides, if you can get through to Vex, you can get his + Zarfot's data, and you can pull stuff off the RSOF if it's not to unreliable. There's loads of people logging their tasks out there, you just need to get to them. No block data isn't so relevant, as nobody slays without blocks. What you want is reasonable block data.

I can/will start logging tasks from 93 onwards (when I have all slayer monsters unlocked). I'll give you the data when I have it I guess.

It's not as fast as green dragons, but pretty close, and far better effigies.

[For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +10 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +20 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, black dragon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 70 prayer and King's Ransom - piety 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. Juju potions are pretty huge, you don't have the stats for them but I do suggest you work on farming, hunter and herblore. Without juju potions, farming can still bring in more money per time spent than any other activity you can do right now (since you don't know how to flip yet).
