  1. What might be nice is if you fight it the first time, never fight it again, and get a permanent tele to the Odd Old Man . Of course if that is the case and people do start doing that, JaGeX will probably nerf it and make it so you can only tele once a week -.-, but yeah that's really the only use I can see coming from it.
  2. The absolute fastest way of getting slayer points (Sacrificing a lot of exp) is 9 tasks on Mazchna and the 10th on Duradel. Even if you still keep using sumona on the 10th, using Mazchna is faster than using Vannaka.
  3. The clues from MTK are also level one, as are the ones collected from Evil Trees, so you can use those methods if you are getting sick of traditional methods (Though MTK is largely done on the side, and you get them from fishing).
  4. Isn't The seal of passage like 4k in weight? Anyways, I'd still think dueling ring to castle wars is the best idea if you don't intend to use the bank at the altar. Never weighed it :? , but I don't think 4kg should hold you up that much. If you have done Dream Mentor then you won't need it anyways as long as you use Bird Eye Jack. Imho 20 fire runes is worth the speed, and I think you should have the spare cash to buy some fires considering you've been nat rcing for a while now ;) .
  5. No guarentees obviously, but in ~250 kills I would expect an obby item to drop. In about a day or less I got 4 obby drops discounting the rings I got. I would wear the ring of wealth, and make sure to always check for bolt tips because they blend into the ground really well :| . Best of luck! :
  6. A Saradomin book would be a better spot for the shield place imo, especially because you should be protect range praying (And steel skin too, or piety if you have it). Also I wouldn't even try this option without using the Ourania tele, that's really what makes this method so fast. And if the reason you don't want to do that is the 20 rune cost per bank, in the official world often people will group tele to Moonclan so banking is free (If you do that then don't forget to wear your seal of passage ;) ). Good luck! :
  7. Here'e the atricle from the Knowledge Base: "* The dragonfire shield is a remarkable piece of equipment capable of unleashing the awesome power of a dragon's fiery breath. See Smithing - Extra Features for details about how to make a dragonfire shield. To charge your dragonfire shield you will need to fight dragons. As the shield still holds all the abilities of an anti-dragonbreath shield, you will be protected from most of the damage of the dragon's flame. Each time the shield protects you, it will charge up, storing the power of the breath to be unleashed later. A dragonfire shield can hold fifty charges of dragon's breath. To see how many charges your shield has, right-click on it and select 'Inspect'. To discharge the flame, right-click on the equipped shield while you are in combat and select 'Operate'. The shield will then fire a deadly blast of fiery energy at your opponent, potentially inflicting massive damage. The shield will need to cool down for a while before you can unleash its flames again. ~ The shield can hold up to fifty charges, and each charge stored within it will add +1 to its stab, slash, crush and ranged defence. So, for example, with 30 charges stored it will have + 50 stab defence, + 55 slash defence, + 52 crush defence, + 10 magic defence and + 52 ranged defence. The shield can be charged by the breath of any dragon (including the King Black Dragon's ice and poison breaths) or skeletal wyvern. "
  8. All I have left before I get my quest cape is Mouring's End Part 2, and While Guthix Sleeps (And Bork, but that's beside the point). So I've heard all about how hard/frustrating MEPt2 is, and I know that you need a lot of food, run restores, and possibly a switch of armour to minimize damage taken by the shades. With the extra inventory and run restore special of the spirit terrorbird, I am just wondering: what if any armour I should switch to once in the temple, how many scrolls I should bring, and how many pouches and summoning pots I should bring? Any other advice would be appreciated too, thanks! : .
  9. English, and once Spanish comes out I might go there occasionally to work on my translation :P .
  10. Just fyi, 50/50 GOP games have been illegal for a while now, at least a couple of months. It could be that JaGeX is taking a more proactive role in enforcing this rule on the forums. Doesn't mean that I like it though, I think that JaGeX just has a problem with us doing an activity and knowing the end result and can calculate down to the minute how long it will take to achieve x exp or items (Especially when it comes to minigames). To them it is supposed to be something fun you do on a whim and that you don't care if you win/get the tokens or not, but unfortunatly if they have desirable rewards there will always be those who manipulate the system to get what they want (Myself included). If they make a stackable game that happens to be a good way of training/money making, why shouldn't I play it in the way that I want?
  11. Also, you will not have to worry about Saradomin Wizards with lvl 2 clues. Just to make sure, do you have your chart, sextant, and watch in your inventory when you dig? Because you need those to get the casket even if you know where you're going.
  12. Well 2 weeks away from a computer means that you will get at a minimum of 76% approval, and MTK usually isn't worth it once it hits about 50-60%. You should be fine, oh and have a good vacation ;) .
  13. That's bloodvelds, not basilisks :? . If you want a low key task, then go to the slayer dungeon. If you want the fastest exp from the task, then go to the Smokey Dungeon with a cannon and combat familiar (Make sure that in addition to a mirror shield that you have a facemask there).
  14. 1 Duelling ring teleport is only about 30-40 gp, if you alch them at 1 charge left. That's more than worth the time you save compared to the Broomstick. But they are worth 1.8k on the ge and usually sell immedietly :P ; whatever this is still the best guide on farming that I've read, you get a ham sandwich.
  15. Sc Claymates ftw  .
  16. Personally my best luck has always been with treasure trails. Ranger boots from pyrefiends helped me buy my first d chain, which I sold right when WGS tha gave me enough cash for my BCP . The rest of my cash has mostly been fairly standard drops from slayer, but maybe that TT sitting in my bank could be my first 3rd age...
  17. http://www.intranetjournal.com/articles ... 0_03a.html http://www.uic.edu/depts/accc/network/a ... urity.html Just search around a bit, find a manual for your wireless router, and think of a secure password ;) .
  18. Considering that you were totally logged out and didn't die, I wouldn't think so (Or they phail at it  ). If they did then you probably have an non-encrypted internet connection and should change that soon ;) .
  19. Getting 99 Prayer should definetly be a first priority. I assume that you're going to get most of the charms for summoning through slayer? If so, then just have some money after you go on your skilling spree so that you can get 99 summon as soon as you have the charms. If not, then yeah just burst/barrage rock lobbies (Whichever is least expesnive, since you don't need mage or hp exp). If you just want an expensive, non-combat, buyable skill, construction will not break the bank as much as herblore, and imo looks better (Or you could put some funds toward improving your POH ;) ).
  20. One suggestion that I haven't heard is Soul Wars (My friend recently got 99 str there, it is confirmed). +1 to the grammer argument though, for a second I thought you were asking for random places in F2P #-o .
  21. Awesome guide Zaaps! This may motivate me to actually get 65 farming for WGS instead of just potting up. Also, I was just wondering what your thoughts are on using the broomstick from Swept Away for a tele to the cactus instead of the dueling ring. If you wore the skills necklace and just had it in your inv it wouldn't take up any more space, plus you save on dueling ring charges (Every one counts!).
  22. Ancients with a few Trollheim teletabs and either a home teletab with a mounted glory in the POH or just wearing a glory to get to edgeville fast, yeah that should work. Just know that you need to put all the logs in before, and then light them all in one run. May take a while, but I wish you luck : .
  23. Well getting summoning up to 52 for the terrorbird, or 40 for a bull ant would help speed things up significantly. Ancient magiks teleports are also very useful, but not neccessary to complete the minigame. It may take few hours to do, depending on if you practice and/or screw up.
  24. ^ Welcome to TIF : . OT: You know what happens when you make a fantasy movie based on an RPG? Dungeons and Dragons the Movie!    #-o #-o :wall: :wall:
  25. Been at zogre tombs for a couple of hours now, just for some unrelated relaxation killing, and I haven't gotten a femur drop yet (Though it is still fun : ). I also heard the Cyclopses in the GWD drop them, so I tried them in the warrior guild with no luck either (Though I did net a few extra defenders). I will keep killing Zogres for a while though, and will post back if I get a femur drop ;) .
