True. The quest requirements are a bit outrageous IMO. I think some should be reduced. Why the hell would you need 70 farming to operate a ballista? Shooting farm herbs or what? But the rest of the requirements are quite OK IMO, except maybe a bit too high leveled.

That doesn't change a single thing . There can still only be one best method of training making. For example, if a new monster was introduced that earned 10kexp an hour with an abbysal whip, but 200kexp with a dragon dagger, the dragon dagger would, according to quelmotz logic, be "overpowered". But even if you were right, you're suggestion is completely different to what quelmotz was "trying to get at" so i don't know what he's going on about. Ok, STOP POSTING NOW. I have one word to say: Greed. Greed is what causes this. The person doesn't want to lose his items, so he eats. He wants your items, so he tells you to stop eating. Simple.

I think revenants are kind of overpowered for F2P Players. Their armor usually does not give enough defense against the revenants. But then again, its amazingly easy to escape from revenants. I ran from a dark beast in near level 50 wilderness once, and all I had was a rune scimitar (was exploring the wilderness to get songs then). I saw a revenant knight, but ran before he attacked me. (or maybe I didn't have a high enough combat level for it to attack)

And this is exactly what Jagex is doing. They're not stupid, despite all the (more stupid) idiots in the RSOF calling them stupid fools. They won't release f2p updates without a bigger, more overshadowing p2p update. And yet, there will still be selfish p2p snobs who can't give a single [insert very small particle here] of updates to f2p. Me too. F2P magic is currently so underpowered that I really won't expect anybody, even with amazingly low IQ to create a rant about f2p mage being overpowered. Though recently there was an idiot who created such a rant... :roll: That really made me roll on the floor and laugh.

Nobody said it did and nobody is looking down on F2Pers. However it's hardly a crime against humanity if we wish for certain P2P things to remain P2P things. You do get the odd update here and there. That's not what you want. What you want is MORE. Not all f2pers are greedy for more. Excuse the blatant self promotion, but I've never asked/begged/what have you for any updates to f2p. I know Jagex will update f2p sooner or later. Don't stereotype people. I detest beggars, f2p players asking for more updates included. I'll agree with you here that some f2p beggars are highly irritating. Of course, you can wish for certain p2p things to remain p2p, but if you don't back it up with good reasons, no one is going to give a [bleep] about your arguments. Don't argue that f2p players make suggestions for f2p/whatever. Suggestions =/= begging for updates. Suggesting is to share your idea(s) with the forums to see what they think of it. And possibly let it get seen by Jagex Mods.

What I'm saying is that special attacks usually have quite a large boost in power so the stat differences (of the armor) doesn't really matter much. Heck, plate armor gives such a negligible difference in stat bonuses between stab/slash/crush.

Specs are out of the question here. You can't depend on specs to kill a well prepared opponent, i.e. not pjing, opponent at full health and pray and has food, etc. (well, usually)

I am a f2p player myself, and I don't think f2p is really pushing aside p2p. F2p players will never get more updates than p2p, and Jagex is smart enough not to release an update for f2p without a bigger one for p2p so it overshadows the f2p update. I am quite shocked at the rudeness and "bossiness" of those f2p players in the RSOF. They don't pay, so they won't get as much updates as p2pers. They have to learn to accept that. If they want more updates, they'll have to get membership.

I don't think that f2p players not getting membership for one month just to get skillcapes will create such a big impact. I mean 1 month is US$5. Say 150 f2pers get a one month membership just to get skillcapes. Result: US$750 for Jagex. Big deal. Sure, some of the f2pers might like membership benefits so much that they continue paying, but I doubt the total profit will be more than $1000.

And your own post has quite a bunch of spelling and grammatical errors. "Gonna" is not a word. After a comma, you need a space. Same for brackets. Not to be nitpicky, but I like this spellbook very much and clearly the creator has put in a lot of effort to make it. My post probably did have quit a few grammatical errors, english is my second language. I reviewed my post and I used gonna once, and gonna is a common contraction for "going to", please do not waste my time for a phrase that you obviously know the meaning of. As for your post, you did nothing but flame me for critiquing him, which is contradictory of what the original poster's intentions were. "PLEASE - if you view this, comment on what you liked, what you don't like, what NEEDS to change because its overpowered, and any ideas you may have.", I wonder, which of us really read his whole post? I was merely pointing out which areas ARE overpowered. Also, since when does effort surpass actual achievement? I realize he has put in effort, but, guess what? I don't care. He asked us to correct and critique his spellbook, so just saying that he tried really doesn't mean you can overlook errors that need to be addressed. Hypocrisy is really widespread around here. :?
