He then made a new account to say the ban was ridiculous and then got perm banned. Just what I've heard though (H) It isn't the policy of staff to reveal details of an individual user's ban, and obviously I've got no place to say anything, but I can assure you that is a complete falsehood. I'll confirm that, although It's against policy to give details.

I don't see why people do it either. I personally don't find it attractive if a female has gauges and crazy piercings and think it looks stupid on a guy. If I *need* to get a piercing to get women as some of the misinformed posters here feel, I'll happily stay single. I don't know, I come from the bible belt and would feel i'm in the majority here.

Actually no, i've been out of a clan since 2007. My history as follows Wanderer 2001-2003. RsV council 2005. KoFH founder 2006-2007. To try to explain things, around 2007, a friend Loge_05 asked me to partake in the CIC, the admins wanted to hear from someone around that time era. KoFH was still active, when I joined the CIC. During my time in the CIC KoFH closed, mainly because myself and my coleader had lots of RL commitments and did not want to pass the torch to someone else. I was invited to be a Clan Mod, and with Dbzruler, we worked this forum pretty much solo for awhile, I was eventually promoted to Administrator, and here I am today. While I haven't been in a clan since July 2007 , I was a member of one of classics top clans, and had leadership roles in two others. To make up for my last 3 years of nothing, I bring 5 yeas of real life management and customer service experience to the table to supplement that. As an adult with a full time job, and now an admin of a fansite, i doubt i'll ever honestly have time to commit to a clan again, though I thought about joining rejuvination, I just don't have the time to do it justice ~Das

if you honestly want to get banned, probably the best way to make sure that happens forever is to post porn. Which i'm NOT suggesting you do, but if you want banned, and want it 100% to happen, thats one way I promise you, you will see banned results. Otherwise, you're just going to get the topic locked. :P Theres a difference between intelligent trolling, and non-intelligent trolling though, and not all trolling, generates good activity.

It could be considered as spam, Ninane Confirm/Deny? I could see both sides to as why it is and is not spam, but what does a mod have to say? All depends on the context. And as far as "gf <clans>" go, if people don't want to see posts like that anymore, we can look into removing them. But that has always been a...tradition? of the clan world to do something like that, and I and the rest of the staff would be really hesitant to take something away that has been such a long-standing part in clans and their respective communities. I don't mind it, until the same person says it on every topic. I don't really see a way to enforce it though, without people crying "OMGZ, THEY NAZIS" (Insert your regime here). i'd prefer disabling postcount in the forum over removing spam GF personally. as a 9 year user of this community, I can honestly say in 2001-2003/4 it was the pinnacle of the clan world. The moderation ended up sucking, it was ran effectively by members of "the" and the alliance. and modding got biased. The staff dwindled more, and the administration couldn't find good replacements, didn't care, whatever, and cracked down, many were banned unfairly. Myself included. We left tip.it for greener pastures Rsnewera was fun for awhile, and Zybez picked up , meanwhile, poor management caused the entire boards to decline Years later, tip.it clan's was a ghost town. The administration was trying build tip.it back up, and understood they knew nothing about clans and put together a group called the clan improvement council, which was basically people who were left and ex staff, people were invited, changes were made. For the past 2, almost 3 years, we have been slowly working to build a foundation, brick by brick, to re-establish a clan community - for the clans, by the clans. Overtime statistically, activity has picked up and any declining seems to be fluctuating that is not a trend, seemingly. I'd say we're improving, and if you have any suggestions to make this place better, or anyone who reads this. Post em :) We strive for excellence.
