Great first post, and loving your signature too. But in response to the side note, if Ratchet didn't get into a battle of wits with unarmed individuals, they'd be swarming all over this forum. Sort of like.... picking up dog poo. The poo itself is defenseless, but if you don't pick it up, soon lots of it will accumulate, and... yeah..... (Gosh durnit they don't have a vomiting smiley! Ah well.)

Had a barrows dry streak since... well, a long time. Decided to take up barrows again today after hitting 82 mage, and lo and behold.... :twisted:

It was their choice to train them in F2P. If they want the capes, they pay. That is why Jagex keeps them P2P. By the time someone reaches 99, they are a loyal player. Try picking your own world. If none of them work, (And I mean NONE) then you should probably contact your internet provider and/or switch internet providers. And if none of that does anything, try fiddling with your computer and deleting some junk. If THAT doesn't work.... well, I don't know what to do after that. Make sure your Internet cables haven't been chewed on by a random rodent?

are you kidding me!! it was better before yes the scammers sucked but theres still scammers today. the RWT killed our merhcing possibilities and we can hardly do anything nowadays, although the change in ownership has imporved a little but it still is not as good as before. Yes, there's still scamming today, but the scammers today get worse profit from scamming then skillers do. And you can still merch, it's just done a bit differently - and there's less possibility of RWT and getting ripped off. And we can do anything we could in the old days except lure people into the far north for their stuff. And heaven knows how much easier things are sold now, and that gives you more time to get back to what you were doing instead of sitting in Varrock West Bank yelling "Selling abyssal whip 1.2M!" or something like that. You're just ticked because you can't take people's stuff by killing them in the wildy anymore. So, I'm going to tell you what I tell most people that haven't gotten over the loss of the wild, free trade, or something along those lines: If it ticks you off that much, then just quit. Your complaining won't be missed, and it's not like you're making a difference with it anyways.

Here, let me help. 1) Bring food for after a fight so you don't get PJed to death. 2) Bring armor for after a fight so you don't get PJed to death. 3) If you're that sick of getting PJed to death, then stop PKing. 4) Learn to use a spacebar and somewhat proper grammar, people will appreciate it. Oh, and for something probably a little less constructive: Way to avoid the censor, you jerk. Keep doing that, see if it does you any good. Also, what are these lies about the rants forum not being a "good" forum? Sure, we rip each other to shreds here, but at least we can do it legibly. Not all veterans are like that though, there are some that think that every player in the world who has played for at least three years is like that now, but I sure as hell ain't and neither are a lot of my friends who continue to play despite the fact that everyone seems to think the game is ruined. That's why I put "veterans" in quotes, so that it only applies to those who think that they are veterans just because they played for a year and didn't like it. -.- Technically, I myself would also be a RS veteran, excepting the fact that I took a 3-or-so year break. So yeah, I was around when the old wildy was there, and yes, I think that what they have now is just as sufficient, except much saferfor those who don't know better.

So they killed Agility by making so that your run energy recharges faster based on your Agility level. Seriously, I've tried running in F2P. It fails. This, along with the recent updates of no-protect-item-on-PvP-worlds and the BH+1 worlds, have caused prices on just about anything useful to go haywire. But the 26k trick wasn't actually killing the economy, just the worth of GP. You could still sell an AGS and buy 2 BGSs with that cash, could you not? So long as you did both (selling and buying) at times that weren't too far apart. Not gonna comment on the GE-still-in-beta section, due to my lack of info on whether it's actually still in beta, or whether just the GEDB is. But in order to do that trick, you need someone you can trust, thus creating a small amount of community in and of itself. GOP was meant for Runecrafting to get a boost and for people to have a new PvP minigame. Albeit that Jagex has released a lot of PvP recently, the GOP wasn't meant for 50/50, that was merely people messing with the system instead of learning how to win. Most valuable? Most traded? There's this little mark used when writing sentences. It's called a "comma." Try using it.

So you don't log in and get F***ing mauled.. So what, just go to another World. Go to a Safe place then log in.. So what. Extra 1 minute can't help. If you're smart, then you'll log into a place where you won't get mauled. Or you'll carry nothing so that when you DO get mauled, they get fail loot.

At least they had someone apologize. By the way, if you look at the actual thread, you see a LOT more people just flaming at Mod Mat because he apologized, because he messed up, because he followed the policy of the people who pay him every month.... Not to mention, everyone screws up eventually. Mod Mat did, and he apologized for it. At least he had the guts to do that instead of return-flaming everyone else, or just banning everyone who posted on the thread. Jagex messed up with the glitch, Mod Mat messed up in calling him a liar. They both apologized in some way or another, but due to policy that the user had agreed to in the first place, they didn't return his items. So if you want to flame at Jagex for following their policy, even after they tried to patch up the circumstance, go ahead. But it's not going to do you, that user, or anyone in this universe any good. totally agree so stop fking saying sh1t to mod mat k, and exile should fking learning from this Way to avoid the censor.
