Or maybe they're recoding the world map so that it fits in that display, while being movable so you can see different areas. If they do, that would drive me insane. Continuing the analogy, if that car doesn't get you where you need to go, then wouldn't you want to sell that car and get a new one that does what you want? Yes, but if you've payed for it, and invested your time and energy into it, you wouldn't want to junk it as soon as doesn't operate how you want it. You'd do your damnedest to try and fix it. Yes, but if you can't fix it, you would get it junked and/or sold, correct?

And you could have spent those three days doing something more productive, like killing trees. The home tele has saved my butt many a time - whether because I forgot something or just needed a teleport away from monsters. True, it isn't the same, but as it is said, the only thing that doesn't change is the fact that things change.

The reason I say either adapt or leave: simply because, if you don't adapt, you're gonna get left in the dust. Ever heard of how evolution works? It's like this: (WARNING! Long, technical sceintific explanation ahead...) One or two members of a species somehow get a genetic change, whether it be due to radiation exposure, failing to correctly copy DNA when cells replicate, etc. This genetic change allows them to be more likely to survive in case of attack (i.e. being able to run faster.) So while all the other members of the species are slowly dying off as the new species with the genetic mutation emerges, eventually the old species is extinct or only alive because some guy wanted to see it in a zoo. (Long technical scientific explanation over.) Likewise, if someone is continually complaining about something that happened five years ago, or something that won't change no matter how much they complain, then eventually they're going to have so many people who got over it and moved on pestering them to go away and leave them in peace that eventually they're either going to leave or they're going to stay because Jagex wanted to still see them around (like the PKers.) So, in conclusion, one complaint or rant doesn't truly hurt, and I apologize if my past actions denoted otherwise. But if the same person keeps going on about the same thing, telling them the truth - that all they're doing is being a pain in the neck, and that if they dislike it that much, they'd be better off leaving - will usually get the situation over with faster. Because would you rather have a warning telling you that people are gonna hate you soon, or no warning and a flame war?

Great first post, and loving your signature too. But in response to the side note, if Ratchet didn't get into a battle of wits with unarmed individuals, they'd be swarming all over this forum. Sort of like.... picking up dog poo. The poo itself is defenseless, but if you don't pick it up, soon lots of it will accumulate, and... yeah..... (Gosh durnit they don't have a vomiting smiley! Ah well.)

Had a barrows dry streak since... well, a long time. Decided to take up barrows again today after hitting 82 mage, and lo and behold.... :twisted:

It was their choice to train them in F2P. If they want the capes, they pay. That is why Jagex keeps them P2P. By the time someone reaches 99, they are a loyal player. Try picking your own world. If none of them work, (And I mean NONE) then you should probably contact your internet provider and/or switch internet providers. And if none of that does anything, try fiddling with your computer and deleting some junk. If THAT doesn't work.... well, I don't know what to do after that. Make sure your Internet cables haven't been chewed on by a random rodent?

are you kidding me!! it was better before yes the scammers sucked but theres still scammers today. the RWT killed our merhcing possibilities and we can hardly do anything nowadays, although the change in ownership has imporved a little but it still is not as good as before. Yes, there's still scamming today, but the scammers today get worse profit from scamming then skillers do. And you can still merch, it's just done a bit differently - and there's less possibility of RWT and getting ripped off. And we can do anything we could in the old days except lure people into the far north for their stuff. And heaven knows how much easier things are sold now, and that gives you more time to get back to what you were doing instead of sitting in Varrock West Bank yelling "Selling abyssal whip 1.2M!" or something like that. You're just ticked because you can't take people's stuff by killing them in the wildy anymore. So, I'm going to tell you what I tell most people that haven't gotten over the loss of the wild, free trade, or something along those lines: If it ticks you off that much, then just quit. Your complaining won't be missed, and it's not like you're making a difference with it anyways.

Oh, you want constructive criticism? Here, let me help. 1) Bring food for after a fight so you don't get PJed to death. 2) Bring armor for after a fight so you don't get PJed to death. 3) If you're that sick of getting PJed to death, then stop PKing. 4) Learn to use a spacebar and somewhat proper grammar, people will appreciate it. Oh, and for something probably a little less constructive: Way to avoid the censor, you jerk. Keep doing that, see if it does you any good. Also, what are these lies about the rants forum not being a "good" forum? Sure, we rip each other to shreds here, but at least we can do it legibly. If you want to write like that and have people understand it, go to the RSOF and stop bothering us.
