I tried dds but it got to be annoying having to do an extra two clicks to hit the special bar 3-4 times a kill instead of 1-2, I'm already switching weapons, helms and prayers all before the weapon hits again. And yes before someone tells me I already use the f1 and f3 keys to switch tabs. I'm gonna go try just a bgs this time to see if it slows me down enough to not be worth bringing claws. Also, since range seems to be what slows me down the most at tormented demons would a ranging ammy be worth trying instead of a glory(no I will not buy a fury, I'm trying to free up cash).

Since I'm on the topic of tormented demons, is bandos tassets + karils top actually a good combination for them instead of void? I keep seeing people wearing that and I always thought it wasn't better then void against them.

Riot in world7 everyone! "TELL JAFLEX TO MAKE US PLATINUM." On a serious note; Two of the sites they have in platinum contain ads other than Runescape/Jagex and one of those sites is rarely updated. Um excuse me but world 6 is the riot world! Btw almost every time I go on runehq I see an advert to buy rs gold or to a website for rs bots. That was few months ago so I'm not sure if they're still there.

Reading through the posts on that rsof thread it seems that most people are shocked/disappointed tip.it isn't platinum.

Is that type of advert not allowed by jagex?

Thanks I'll try that now I was a little hesitant to try it without someone telling me that it was good. I'm too lazy to start a trip only to find out something isn't right have to bank again. Too slow and really doesn't hit that much.

Um how did runehq get platinum? That website is extremely annoying to use, it's slow to load and hard to find things. Can't believe it got platinum and tip.it didn't. I've never used any of the other platinum sites or even heard of one of them.

They all hit before it changes prayer and it almost always(it's only hit low enough so it doesn't change prayer once in about 300 kills) changes prayer as soon as the special is finished so just switch to your bow as soon as you use the special attack.

Right now I'm using claws + bgs at tormented demons but I really want to free up some of my cash and start buying bones for 99 prayer slowly without selling the bgs. What's a good alternative to using claws for special attack on tormented demons that isn't a godsword(because I know someone will suggest a sgs or ags godsword without realizing I'm trying to free up cash not use more). I don't need an enhanced excliber so a special attack that hits it for damage is what I'm looking for.

To hell with the "rare market". The bloody things should have been removed from the game years ago; Jagex didn't to be nice to those who owned them already, but they sure as hell shouldn't make ANY decisions about gameplay based on them. One thing that would help at least a bit is making tokkul tradeable. There are thousands of players with "partial onyxes" rotting in their banks because they can't buy anything they need with them, and they can't trade them. First of all: it would be terribly unfair to players like me to ban the rares. I've always enjoyed running around with a haloween mask (got two now + a santa) and I'm buying up new rares everytime I got +50mil to get a white phat one day when I sell all of these. And why do I buy rare items? Because I'm against buying XP to get L99's like many do. I can say I've gathered every single XP myself and hate the fact I see L50's or whatever calling L125's nub because they're not wearing a skill cape and they wear untrimmed cook/fletch whatever... Many people say they hate the restricted trade system etc, I don't I curse the day skillcapes were released. Now everyone just cares about L99's and not about enjoying the game. It simply doesn't make sense repeating the same action over and over again for weeks, like I see many fletchers/alchers at ge, saying they've not moved there for days in a row... Rares are a nice way to decorate yourself and show wealth to the outside. Taking away the rares would make me quit immediately. It would be so unfair to remove all the hard work I did to get the wealth... And no: I'm not a mercher/pker whatever. I just love the game as it should be played: the hard way... Making tokkul tradeable would make the RS economics crash even more and cause even more inflation... Not a good thing to even think about imo... IMO they don't need to get rid of rares, they need to kill anything being used to buy rares as a type of currency(onyx and hooks are the two main things but I think hooks crashed). Which I'm almost 100% sure jagex doesn't care/like items like onyx being used as currency, why else would they kill mint cakes?

Not noob friendly but there needs to be another way to get a fury other then making it out of an uncut onyx. Mainly because of the fact that most people that put time into getting an uncut onyx will only do it because they need an onyx ring and can't/don't want to buy it for it's ridiculous street price. I'm not suggesting it as a drop at all btw.

I'm in basically the same situation as you, a few days ago I was about 90m from 99 prayer and today I'm probably close to 95m from 99. So, what I've started doing, because I've been waiting for the day they start to decrease too long, is buy bones as soon as I get extra cash and stockpile until I have enough. I'm currently doing tormented demons for money and I only keep the supplies I use for them in my bank, all of the money I'm not using on them is in d bones right now. I honestly don't think they will decrease any time in the near future because of the curses and inflation but you never know a private clan could secretly be holding on to hundreds of thousands of them and dump them tomorrow. The ge is just crazy like that.

Tbh that update was my favorite non main update they've made in a long time. It was almost at the point that you couldn't buy an expensive item without adding a mint cake or two into the trade.

They need to do something about the onyx situation but I don't think they should try to solve it by decreasing costs or increasing tokul drop rates, all that's going to do is eventually lead to another problem. Sure it's the best item of its kind in the game for most situations but how many people go to tzharr, collect tokul and make the uncut onyx into a fury. Most people willing to spend that much time and effort there either sell the uncut onyx/onyx ring for high street value or they make it into a ring for personal use. My point is the number of furies is decreasing and are slowly becoming semi-rare(very slowly). An old item that isn't discontinued should not become a semi-rare item over time. Even if they reached 20m+ and became worth camping tzharr for decent profit over time how many people do you know will have the patience and be dedicated enough to camp them for that long.

I stopped picking up golds and greens after 88 because I'm in no rush to get any higher right now. If I was shooting for some level I would but right now I'm really not so I don't bother with them.

First of all, whip sucks there. Zammy spear on crush is like 4 times better, and that's when whip has rune defender with it. I can count on my hands how many times my D Claws have hit under 500, and that includes my "01s". Also, SGS doesn't speed up kills at TDs, which is what everyone aims to do. Speed is what matters with fast banking. Sorry for the off topic post but is a z spear + claws better than using a bgs + claws at tormented demons?

The penguin cc is "world60peng" or it could be "world60pengs" just try both I know for sure one of them in the penguin cc I just can't remember if it has the s at the end or not.

They crashed a long time ago and are now considered junk by most people.

This really has nothing to do with slayer but a lot of people are talking about it. I've been using sgs at tormented demons instead of claws now and tbh I'm pretty sure the increased speed of kills with claws saved me more prayer then the sgs special that hit high sometimes. It's just so unreliable with big hits that I really don't like using it.

I've been using a bgs + claws at tormented demons recently and I'm finding it much better than a sgs. You might not last as long but you will get faster kills with claws. And before anyone asks why a bgs it's because I want to use a gs and why buy an expensive one if I'm not using the special attack.

It would and they can crash you because they hit higher. Rex has very low mage defence(if any at all) so you'll hit the max hit often making that +10 higher max almost always crash you.
