  1. I've seen someone actually solve it before, I just force like 6 tiles though lmao.
  2. With guthans you can pretty much stay until you run out of runes or get crashed enough times that you run out of supplies. Really long trips are boring though. And you can only stay that long if you know what you're doing and don't have to pray mage a lot. Also they're spinolyps, not wallasalkis, Aeil. Yeah go with a friend who knows what they're doing. Read some guides, watch yt vids. But a lot of mhing is just experience.
  3. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Potions although GE prices change, around 20gp/xp
  4. most people only do floors 30+ large though
  5. dng, binds are pretty easily replaced anyways (don't need hood, and if you key for randomers I doubt they'll mind), and keying you have a much higher chance of getting a hood also do skills that don't cost money, fish, wc, stuff like that. it's relaxing.
  6. Yeah I heard the 30% def 70% mage thing in like 2006, so if it's a rumour, it's been around a while
  7. I mostly duo'd until low 60s dng, makes it a lot more fun. If you can find a trio around your lvl you can do nice larges for your higher fls. If you solo I think small is better than med, especially because merc leaders came out and are really terrible when soloing. Solo smalls should be under 10 mins, solo meds under 20. Also if anyone has overloads you can use those for solo smalls, it's fun, but it doesn't help a huge amount or anything. Sometimes you can kill the boss before it runs off though ^^
  8. Omg, this. You can already get effigies on average once per 65 mins, so it wouldn't be OP. Just an actual enjoyable way to get them.
  9. If you run out of food as a keyer, you ask for food, if nobody gives, you suicide. That's what I do, anyway.
  10. I think it's kinda fun seeing how fast you can go with idiots, and how often you can not die. You meet a few ok people that you can add and see if they'll dng. Just don't take it too seriously, if you have to suicide a few floors it'll help you become better. You also get to make remarks like "Ok ill just solo the dng", kinda funny. Almost always I go with at least 1 person I know, though - it really helps a lot.
  11. In f2p it's easy to leech as a lvl 3 because of that half xp when average combat is over 90 thing.
  12. Also at 100+ tank ring doesn't do much because of the platebody. Sub 100 I'd recommend tank ring over gatherers if you always key.
  13. Most people do 30+ large, and it's preferable to be able to dng with others. 30-35 is a nice break compared to occult and warped anyway.
  14. Laws save you a bit of time and effort at the begining. Surgebox takes an inv space and is annoying to switch to for a few attacks. Most of the time while keying you aren't killing things, so the box rarely does much. I just find the box kinda annoying. Also makes me feel like I have to spend another few seconds to make a fire staff. I do have a box bound, might switch to laws when 77.
  15. Get 77 rc for dreadnaut and bind laws 70-76 use box 1-69 use laws forgotten warriors don't matter much when keying
  16. It can hold at least 2.5k, so I doubt you'd need more anywhere. (2.5k was all the casts I had)
  17. Against isws the max hit splats go from ~448-1106. And when I was meleeing steel dragons it was ~510-625 that it'd max hit splat. I'm not 100% sure on the lower end of max hit splats, very close though, and the max hits were the highest I've hit.
  18. Generally I heard the probability of a barrows item is 1/18 per chest, which I think sounds right. My average run was taking 4:45 using piety: Doing 12 runs per banking, taking about an hour. Also my combats aren't quite maxed.
  19. 70 rc with a strong naturalists pot can make bloods, or 71 with a regular. (Theres a 70 rc requirement to use the box anyways)
  20. The diary says smith a hasta, you say hasta and spear in your first post, they are both the same lvl and look similar, are you smithing a spear instead of the hasta?
  21. Dag kings. You could use claws of guthix + arcane stream, so most people wouldn't be able to crash you while maging. Once you get the hang of maging, try mage/range hybrid. If you get higher stats or are on task etc. you could try solo melee/range hybrid, but would probably need a low population world, or could try duo melee/range hybrid. It's generally easy to find a mager, but random people might not be good at luring rex away. There's a tip.it guide on the main site and there's an AoW guide by brainy.
  22. Don't do your last floor unless it unlocks more, or if you've done all other floors you can do.
  23. I've found two while duoing meds in the 20s. Maybe ~10ish dungeons? (Note: I know there's faster xp gain etc., don't efficiency atk L)
  24. With cosmics or laws bound, I was getting average 2 mins per floor, including the wait time between floors. Without, it was around 3 mins per floor, including the wait time. On 5:1 c1 ofc.
  25. barb fly fishing for fastest, non-afk - ~60k / h shilo / that river near ring of visibilityplace for normal fly fishing ~50k / h (slightly easier) monks 35k/h cavefish 30k/h Cavefish are a bit more afkable than though, since the spots don't move nearly as much. xp / h are a bit approximate
