Voted for new york. I intend to drive there if it goes. I'm thrilled it finally has a chance to come to the states. Feel really bad for UK players though. EDIT: Woo, new york is winning at 33%. I know it's not guaranteed, but that's a good sign. Should I open up a TIF bed and breakfast for the days before/during/after? Hmm. I do make a mean pancake.

True, it couldn't fully convert so easily. But there is definitely ample room in runescape for microtransactions that could have large impacts on the gameplay, don't you think? It's only their integrity and stable existing model that's keeping them from doing so, isn't it?

They could make it work. Of that, I have no doubt. But who knows if even a company as stable as Jagex would survive such a drastic change to their main game?

Well I have to admit it would be a hard to find an appropriate response to our questions...unless money is the issue. But then of course if money was the issue it throws out all the other arguments made. :huh: Why not? Microtransactions. And that's a whole different discussion.

I'd consider the upcoming combat forms to be RS3-like, because they'll make the game virtually unrecognizable from what it once was.

I'm definitely not a fan of the slow-fade on text hover-boxes. I enjoy that the chat box is more readable. I can get accustomed to the website after time. But just a bit bleh about these overall changes.

One time my boyfriend and I were preparing to go to Ohio for a concert. As we were pulling out of the campus and onto the highway, we saw a pick-up truck coasting down US30 at 60MPH with no tires on his back axles. EoE and DGS (the latter you have to apply to at XPW) have lots of members who can do warpeds. I don't know specifically if there's a clan dedicated to warps. But besides DGS and EoE, there's also 3BO and Elite_Dung...though iirc Elite_Dung might be disbanded. Not sure.

Easy answer--I stay away from the RSOF and work on a fansite community. I post occasionally on there, but really racking up post-count there is like shooting fish in a barrel. You'd have to be some sort of masochist to want to be a forum moderator on the RSOF. They're honestly better off, imo.

Quite the opposite, it's very important to the story. I don't mean silly, "LOVEY KISSY GOO GOO". But her relationships with Peeta and Gale are part of her growth and evolution as a character. If you downplay that, you're seriously taking away from the story. It's one of the things that made it a very mature instance of Young-Adult literature. I only worry that the films will blow it out of proportion.

I guess there aren't a lot of activities where members and free-players are in one setting actively aside from f2p clans, which is the only reason why I was upset. I guess it won't be that bad, but it's still...jarring to see something so fundamental changed like that.

That is extremely unfair to RSWiki. Has something been worked out between that fansite and Jagex, I wonder? *facepalm* Better that they made a RUNETRACKER feature for members only. Removing the high-scores from F2P is absolutely ridiculous. I would rather see them delete old account records from high scores rather than this...*sigh* It makes business-sense, I guess...but damn does this hurt a lot of people.

I wonder if this is a step to them admitting their 'update for clans LOL!' items for events, designed with no true purpose to allow for 'emergent gameplay', was a bust.
