I thought they were going to release their MMO before ES5? And a direct sequel? Hopefully it will continue correcting the flaws in the gameplay (terrible accents/no diversity) while keeping combat pristine. I really enjoyed the improvements of combat from Morrowind to Oblivion. Expecting ES5 to be nothing less than stellar. Now if Bethesda only stops dragging their feet...

Tip.it's community gave DK a chance and they were actually quite pleasant to work with and, from what I saw during their brief time here, gave clean fights. You've got a bad reputation but a few clean fights will set it straight if you're serious. Either way, I'm personally looking forward to the aftermaths for the interesting discussion it will bring. I'd love to know where you read that at! I'm sure it'd make for an interesting read. I think you'd find that lots of people have played more than one mmo in their life. Is it fair to ignore other mmos because they might be simple or just a different sort of game?

I don't see a lot of flaming (or if it's there, then things are working and they're being reported and removed) but I do see a lot of things like this post dotting RT threads. I don't think it's trolling or flaming to rate something low if you don't consider it an achievement, but it's all in how you say it. How quickly topics can go, well, off-topic though is annoying. The board has no real focus so long and so long as you're talking about the achievement in question then it seems like anything goes. That leads to heated debating a lot. Is that what people are talking about when they say 'flaming'?

With technology being as cheap as it is these days as well as affordable plans offered by most ISPs nowadays I'd question how large of a userbase actually still uses libraries as their only way of playing. It certainly helps build RS' popularity, sure.

If you're going to have people explain why they dislike the achievement, they'll do so in accordance with opinions. If you're going to have clashing opinions, you're going to get heated debating that really doesn't have a place in RT but isn't strictly against the rules. Whether it be ranking system or not, that's a core issue that isn't going to be changed by structure. Being rude isn't against the rules.

Is that contrary to the comic? I just kind of assumed they'd use the grenade eventually and that main characters dying off was just common happenings in a zombie apocalypse.

The way I always saw it was Blogscape was for runescape and the blog feature was for RL aspects. I would rather see this be enforced than doing away completely with blogscape.

That's fair, but in order to maximize your profit via slaying you would have to sacrifice your exp/hr in slayer. So although it can be a great moneymaker, it can also just barely be a break-even type depending upon how you do it. So it might help when suggesting slayer as a moneymaker to clarify how people are doing it; people can stride into training it all worked up & killing things as fast they can and suddenly run out of cash if they don't have a lot to work with. :P

In these style fights, everything counts. Early on, our binds slacked, Sard5e tanked beautifully, and Dan got sidetracked while leading which lead to mass confusion for a pile. It essentially gave you the win, and you deserved it for capitalizing on our weakness. Confirming this. This was the route I took in particular since it took less clicks. It won't work with the faster-melting additional runs you get every 5 deliveries after completing the quest, though.
