  1. If CWA wasn't a safe avenue and had better maps (ie more 'wilderness like') it wouldn't be so terrible, but until that day PvP will always trounce it. Having CWA as a safe way of clan interaction is completely against the game and is downright insulting to clans; because of it they have degraded clans, which are highly organized and well thought-out organizations, to mere minigame status. No thanks, we're not like Castlewars. (Yes my hands are up. Talking about runescape makes me angry, yo.)
  2. I perform better when I can range because it allows me more time to see the pile coming. It's something I'm more comfortable with, because I have plenty of time to echo locations in cc and spam hard while buffering along with the rest of the range unit to give the needed ko power to the main pile. It's hard for me to split my attention as a good binder/blaster would need to, so I feel like I'm a better asset to my clan if I do that instead.
  3. So few people have the strength to do what he had done with giving the good fight, let alone touch as many people as he had. The world's a bit darker today.
  4. If you lose items to a glitch, it's generally considered alright to replace them with INVedit or the like. Eh, since when does it matter whether you use INVedit or not? Some people (like myself) lose interest in games if they have unlimited resources. Also, you can't get as big of an ego boost from building a castle with INVedit as you can from building it legitimately. Fair enough, I guess I could do that. Still feels wrong, though. Really peeved that this minimap crashed still, but I'll give invedit a try. Wouldn't happen to know of a legit link, would you? Thanks for the advice TTanT
  5. I recently got a hold of a premium account thanks to my boyfriend and I'm having fun here and there. Haven't played too much with mods except for a minimap mod which is damn near essential. Way better than my stupid compass. Tell you what though, in my search of diamond I went straight down to the bedrock and worked my way out only to learn one thing: lava is [bleep]ing everywhere. After one dumb death and a few near-misses, I've learned to mine with a bucket of water handy. >_> That's how I lost my first diamond pickaxe, too...bah. Only playing on peaceful now, though. Thinking of making a new world and trying my hand on normal, make a village by scratch, etc. Since my boyfriend is letting me use his account, I'm thinking of buying my own so we can host a private server for him, myself, his brother, and a few other friends to play on for the lulz. He's got a ridiculous download/upload speeds, so the idea of having a private server is pretty entertaining. EDIT: Nope, no, I remembered why I hate hate hate mods. Got my portal to the nether set up and going in there with my minimap mod set up, the game crashed. When I reloaded minecraft, I lost everything. My SECOND diamond pickaxe, lost. So rage. Sooo rage.
  6. Anyone else feel bad for Tip.it's Crewbies? I do. Two gigantic updates like this in one year! Ouch.
  7. +1. If es went mmo i might just die inside. Whats so bad about an MMO? It's just hard to imagine the game so drastically changed, especially since this coincides with the rumor that they were going to release an mmorpg soon. I don't mind either way, so long as there's offline play/story mode.
  8. NEW GAME ENGINE YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS That's all there really is to say. (For now.)
  9. They had something like this in Conquer Online, too. Point I'm trying to make is that it's in a lot of mmorpgs, not just WoW.
  10. I was just reading this on RSC but I'm glad to see you post this here! Really looked like a fun fight. Grats RoT :)
  11. Can't tell if you have Elite Void because your Adventure Log is private but for simplicity's sake let's say you do. Fury's kind of important to the ranger for the added prayer boost+attack, since most tasks you'll be using Eagle Eye/Rigour to get through them fast. Obviously, if you don't want to use those boosting prayers and you don't melee, that's a different story; in that case I'd say ditch it and pick up an Amulet of Ranging and the ACP instead. But at the end of the day, I don't see the practicality in selling something so worthwhile to your play style to get another thing that's equally important. It's your choice.

You don't kiss people who aren't your family or your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend. That's just weird. (And just my opinion.) Friendly hugs? Sure. Things involving the face, though...That's a pretty intimate place to touch. It's offlimits in my mind. Or as my 9th grade self would've liked to say, "VIOLATING MY PERSONAL BUBBLE." Think of how often you touch someone's face, after all. Not very often.

Have any of you guys actually made eggnog at home? Or are you like me and only had the pasteurized carton variety? Oysters are actually a commonly eaten item to celebrate the holidays, if lobster is too much for you. Also dungeness crab right now is in stores a lot at this time, so there's that too.
  14. The problem with using it on 117/148 is that it requires google accounts to use, which not everyone has. also i don't know how i feel about other people being able to see my google account name. It's not too hard to make a google account JUST for runescape, though.
  15. How'd you go about killing it?
  16. This might be a nice solution for w117/148 teams but human memory/everyone gates will probably still be faster unless everyone knows the best hotkeys/how to use google docs.
  17. Not just less, but exponentially less. So less that, one day's earning can last your whole lifetime in F2p comfortably. That's a bit extreme. Join a f2p warring clan like Divine Forces. You'll burn through that real quick.
  18. Except it's not something any business would ever do so that's a pretty poor example. o_O
  19. I'd have to question your line of reasoning if violating your real-life information, which has far more dangerous and long-lasting implications than botting in a game, is a good idea. It doesn't matter if they can be stolen or publicized elsewhere, if you're going into an obligation with a company (which we havE) they guarantee to keep this information private. And for a surety if they cannot protect their payment methods and information security, they certainly wouldn't keep growing. It's pretty clear that personal information leaking is a severe no-no.
  20. Why is potential identity theft a suitable punishment for botting...? O_o
  21. That wasn't yanked out of context. That pretty much was all of it. Oh, I did cut out the "LOL AT THIS" which was completely irrelevant--yeah, real context changer. But thanks for the insult. (Not everyone who disagrees with you is a troll, by the way.) They don't have to. That is why RS is a unique mmorpg. They can immerse themselves as much as they want, and they're certainly not wrong for doing so. We agree on this at least.
  22. Why so rolleyes? It was 6:30pm EST on a friday night when we ended l0l
  23. That's a bold (and empty) statement. This has to do with the topic at hand...how?
  24. Common sense; though if you want to get technical, I have no way to back that up nor does anyone else claiming the opposite. Please forgive me for erring on the side of sense.
  25. Even businesses need to be aware of customer desires, democracy or not. If bot after bot is made ... faster than customers apply (and stay subscribed) ... even if Jagex makes 90% of its profits off of botters ... Would you still believe it matters what WE think? I stand by my statement on the last page... You can stand by it all you want, at the end of the day you're still wrong. Players make up the majority and of the long term subscribers, clan users sit at the core of those people. We are nowhere near having bots as a paying majority, let alone a f2p majority.
