You may debate all you like about Downfall and BK in this topic. But please, if you've got something to say about the DF v Gladz rivalry that's so important, you can make a topic about it in Clan Discussions (provided it follows our rules n' guidelines.)

I thought a lot about this when I wrote about it here. And there's really nothing terribly wrong with RSB clans. They're not great, but they still go on principles that are true and well-meant. But because of where they're 'housed' (ie the RSOF), they can't grow into more complex techniques as easily as fansite-based ones can. That's simply because they're within Jagex's stranglehold, which is necessary for the maintenance of a stable community, but deadly for us because we've gone so far past that for so many years now. The support was too little too late and now they're fostering what's growing in their back yard rather than tending to the orchard that's gone wild and unnoticed. It has gone so far beyond that now. It is way more than just "oh they killed pvp." Pvp is back now--why aren't we flourishing? CWA played a huge part. Why? Because they were 'supporting clans' by giving them a crash-free environment. Dundundun. It's our greatest strength and now our greatest drawback because they took so damn long to try to notice their dedicated customers that we can't work within their system. Who is to say that if they had a decent working forum structure, where clans could request private threads/boards/whatever that we wouldn't have adapted to their structures? We continue to be a strong force, and heck maybe the superior force, when it comes to comparing the different types of clan communities, but we'll only get further and further away from the sunlight. And we'll adapt, just as we adapted before. But it's going to get harder from here on out if advertisement rules aren't lightened up. How else are we going to get new recruits?

This video may be reposted due to the fact that DF cannot suitably prove they were returning to the wild to continue AC'ing for CR. Talking to CR and MMA officials, none of them could recall quite what was happening, being understandably involved in their own fights to take notice. You are really hard to please I have high standards for the crap I have to use on a daily basis. Teamspeak 3 prompting me to update when there is no update, never recognizing my microphone unless I disable and enable input devices, random times when sound no longer works, permission bugs... Yeah, I think I'm okay with being 'hard to please' :P

It is, in fact. There is a clothing set that looks a good bit like full rune and a skirt. Great camouflage. In terms of stats and bonuses it's not really. And Blue Runecrafting robes act as a good enough disguise in a CWA high opts war as long as you have a rune weapon/helm and shield equipped. In PVP however, you could be right, and it's worth experimenting. I agree with you 100% and that's exactly what I meant--pvp :P It's impractical to wear fully charged druid robes unless it's a really crucial war/intense rivalry.

Teamspeak 3 has a lot of bugs and kind of drives me up a wall, but it's still better than the alternatives. I don't like Ventrillo's interface and TS2 has crappy quality.

Not really surprised. CL hasn't been doing well in CWA nor PVP. Props for going up to their timezone though I suppose, because I know they don't budge on that.

Good to see that CE's pulls are up but they just couldn't compete with you this time around. Great to see you peaking above 50 in CWA too. I bet it was because Killerred wasn't there :twisted:

It has +10 magic (which is +8 better than a BSS, but no +3 prayer bonus) defense and +30 range defense. The only remotely useful thing I can think it would be is for rangers at arma...and even that's a stretch. Meh, updates can't please everyone, I suppose, but this one seems like another Mobilizing Armies knockoff at first glace. Look forward to trying it, if only to say I did.
