Its effectiveness would be determined solely by the judgment of the moderator enforcing the punishment. I know of too many long-term player mods who aren't all that 'great', we'll say, to make me want to buy into an idea like this. Player mods who are chosen from the userbase are already considered 'trustworthy', yet look at how many go wrong. Dunno. This seems like one of those dream ideas that would work great in a perfect world...but nowhere else. :3

I hit a point last year when I asked myself this same question and all I could come up with was the community. Then I followed that up with, "Well if all I care about is the community, why the hell am I in a PvP clan?" Obviously after all my musings I've come to the conclusion that the excitement and strategy of PvP wars were equally important to me, or I wouldn't still be in Solace. :P But I have to wonder if everyone here who has responded "the community" as their knee-jerk response has asked themselves that too.

What makes you think if they implement a wilderness map in CWA (which I agree is a good idea) but keep the area safe that it will make them any more interested in going out and losing their items? If anything, it will just give people more of a reason to stick to CWA and not to branch out. And that certainly wouldn't be helping us (ie fansite communities) at all.

+1 That almost made sense, except I see people posting on this topic from clans such as TT, RSD, Solace, Divine Forces, Crimson Raiders etc etc which I would argue have accomplished far more than DK has and continue to do so. What a clan has accomplished is really moot. When clans open and reclose often, it's just kind of silly. Especially if it's happened in such a close period of time. To an outsider, it seems more like a "Hey look at me!" attempt, regardless if that's not how it was meant. Does it affect us individually? Directly? No, of course not. But we're here talking about what's going on in this soap drama of a clan world, so of course it's going to come up. This shouldn't be shocking anyone anymore.

I would use it in a heartbeat. Screw paying 10k USD for a Chevy Colbalt, bring on atom scrambling! But really, if teleportation was ever possible, let alone in reality, it would be for the wealthy and 'important'. It would never trickle down to average man. Not to mention the paranoia...We can't even secure servers let alone entire areas lol.

We were in the basement with my boyfriend, my best friend, and her boyfriend watching something on TV. Forget what it was, but it was something on Discovery so it might've been Deadliest Catch (that played a LOT on Sundays). My friend and her beau were on the couch and insisted on laying on top of eachother, so we sat on the floor, and at one point we just turned and kissed. Not a lot of thought behind it, not very 'romantic', but of course my friend didn't miss a chance to go "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" and make the whole situation awkward. It ended up not mattering though. lol It's still a fond memory.

Forum hosting. Relaxation of advertisement rules for clans. Memberlists integrated into the high scores. Some of my bigger annoyances. The thing I want the most, though, is the removal of Safe PvP outside of minigames (CWA is not a minigame.) but they'll never do that.

We pulled 35 to your 60. There was just nothing we could do, lol. We did well despite that, from what I hear, but not nearly well enough to pull a victory. Looking forward to fighting again later. "EST Domination" at a 5pm EST/10pm GMT fight? o_O...You do realize we're a GMT/EST clan right lol.

They go into PvP with Downfall. They're not capable of doing it on their own, from what I've seen, but they haven't given up. They still found a way for it to happen. Hell, even Downfall is getting a lot more notice and respect from the top 20 because of their pking. It might be at late night when only CL and crew are out, but they're out there. Biggest hitch I see for them though is they're letting their rivalry keep them out when they have the ability to meet them head on and outlast it, if not excel in it.

I'm all about being fair but it really depends on that individual's clan history. Not going to lie, Solace has given people chances, ridiculous chances. But when you're a clan that values your stability, you should be looking very hard at applicants, not just the CMB level. Very hard. Because you can lose that stability in a second.

I think you might've been able to push through it but I respect the decisions for closing all the same. They're rooted in good intentions. Rip.

Oh, really, who didn't see this happening? I feel bad for those who joined Rebellion expecting to truly make it something worthwhile. Too many people were joining for the idea of glory and lulz, and this happens every time. I really don't think you're going to see a massive impact on the top - anything, though, let's be honest. There's going to be a new clan made again, whether it be DK or whatever, and they'll just regather like a bunch of pigeons on a telephone wire until the wire snaps under the weight.

Not terribly surprised. Most people challenge TKO thinking it's an easy win because it's CWA, but you guys are very skilled at what you do. Grats.

Why didn't you guys ask to switch worlds for the second round, knowing how match opts hinge on such small things like DC's? If you guys had taken the 5 mins of restocking to also look for a better world, you might've had a different outcome. Grats to both clans; funny, you don't get to say that too often and truly mean it!
