A Beginers Guide to Bathtubs [UPDATED WITH SPEED RUNNING GUIDE]
Kimberly replied to Tansuo's topic in General Guides
I'll be the bad guy here. Sorry but you know this isn't a real RS guide. Not only do these things not really exist in RS but your guide has no practical purpose for in-game play and as a result violates guidelines for the General Guides section. Just a general note: if you're going to encourage joke things like this, do it in Blogscape please. :) -
Warning, do NOT stake- New Glitch for stat boost.
Kimberly replied to 999134's topic in General Discussion
The difference between the RWT'ers thread and this one is that those who are discussed in the RWT thread have already had visible action taken against them by Jagex. It's preposterous to claim that we're defending rule-breakers -- we're simply trying to avoid a negative he-said-she-said discussion of accusations because it could happen to anyone on these forums. Your post is a special case in that the vid was specifically demonstrating someone abusing the bug, but it still falls under those guidelines. If you have any other questions you're welcome to PM me but beyond that, this branch of discussion does not belong on this topic :P In the meantime I will talk to the moderation staff about the special case your thread presents and get back to you on that. But user feedback is more powerful than anything, and if you feel very strongly about this I highly recommend you make a thread in our Forum Updates and Suggestions board in the meantime! -

Hid some posts from public view. Naming names is not permitted on these boards, guys. Just discuss the glitch (without detailing how to perform it), maybe talk about other glitches you've encountered, and share your knowledge to help your community. There's no need to start mud-slinging in all this. Thanks guys. -

Shouldn't his robes be classed as hybrid, since he was a melee mage hybrid? Genuine question, not intending to contradict. -
LP values were changed as well, so add that to your template too. Also where the npc was located would probably help too.

Missing the point implies you made one, yes? The point of all your posts thus-far has been easily solved issues regarding the EoC. The only valid concern I heard you make were about the GoP robes. F2P bank space is an absolute luxury and I can understand why you would be upset -- the problem is you have flipped back on your stance twice now in order to dodge/ignore any criticism of your argument levied at you. Make a suggestion that GoP robes get rebalanced and wait like everyone else, but don't use it as your excuse to cry wolf and then bawl your eyes out when you get a spanking. -

People telling you that you are over-reacting about a stupid, absolutely horrible shield by any standards does not mean they're brainwashed. If buying fire runes for casting spells has "utterly destroyed you" then you obviously weren't all that far from quitting anyway. You have zero need for the anti-dragon shield in the eoc as a f2per and it's easy as all hell to safespot things even in f2p. My personal advice to you would be to learn how to safespot, learn how to use stun/binds, and recycle the time spent in writing condescending sign offs into learning how to play the game better than your average fresh-off-the-tutorial newbie. The help and advice board is filled to the brim with people who will give you the advice and resources to do so. -
Think before you start throwing around words like "delusional." They generate resources but they do not directly create gold. They exchange their resources for gold on the grand exchange and sell the gold they get as a result. Jagex selling gold would be directly creating gold, which is why Or Trade me was talking about screwing up the economy...I don't know what the hell you're on about. As a side note: Jagex selling gold is not a deterrent if the black market can successfully thrive and people can take part without a significant fear of losing their account -- this is what we have today. Did you forget that they're still working on Botwatch? That's exactly what they're trying to do. They just have not been successful thusfar.

There are hundreds of monsters like that sadly. But for now, people like Unknown don't need to worry. -
Botting/Botwatch in the Evolution of Combat Discussion
Kimberly replied to Deathscythe's topic in General Discussion
The bots have not "disappeared" they're still there if you bother to look. They were up and running less than 5 hours after release. -
The point where it's no longer worth it for Jagex to sell gold due to being unable to stop the black market is far higher than the point where it's no longer worth it for a script runner to execute his scripts and sell his gold to a black market site (an hour's effort, maybe?) Flower games/gambling even less so than that. Jagex selling gold is not a solution to the RWT'ing problem, regardless if Jagex selling is a real possibility for Runescape's future.

Skele horror is still pretty much the same and has no new weakness to speak of and actually hits quite pathetically. If you get any accurate info on its LP each stage you should probably contact a crewbie cause I screwed it up when I was checking yesterday afternoon :s -
And if f2p bots and players alike are completely unable to compete with p2p bots then what is the point of the removal from the high scores? The facts they gave us in this case were highly illogical, so it is hard to accept "just because of bots" as the defining reason why the high scores were removed for f2p, let alone their utility to the average f2p player which was far greater than simply ranking.

Does anyone know what we should do to let Jagex know about monsters that need their armor rating/maxes/lp/whatever adjusted? They're not really...bugs. IDK what to do with them. -
It's completely legible, DVD. But it's not as legible as the original. It might be worse on old CRT's though.

There's some formatting on the text while in the red/green/yellow cells. I think this is what he's talking about. It works really well on darker blue backgrounds but not so well on the lighter colors you see in the calculators.

I was surprised they put a mention of eastern lands in the BTS...unless they suddenly changed their minds (which I very much doubt), we won't be seeing any bit of the eastern continent, it's just the lore explanation where the sailors in your POP get their materials from... ...Right, so why would that not warrant mentioning?
-
Saw a similar opinion in reddit. If you're a top earning gambling host, of course you'd see an impending RWT ban coming if you have no faith in Jagex as Starrychelx did. That is not a confession necessarily.

They're easy to miss, especially since skilling is frowned upon, but it happens pretty regularly.

It was a clever way of showing him grappling with the consequences of his coldness and the reality of losing his wife. I think that's too important to classify as a "waste." It's not like we had a shortness of action/story progression so much so that character development needs to be sacrificed. And I think the "archer girl" just has a similar block that Andrea had when she was learning how to shoot. But I don't know anything about the comic so that might not get explained.
