  1. If you import your save while wearing it, shouldn't it show up in the beta? I'm just curious if they' e added stats for it yet.
  2. The reasons for polygamy before it became a social norm are different than the reasons forcing this lax mentality for quick divorces, love-and-leave em scenarios, etc. So for the same reason we say that this generation is different than our grandparents or even our parents, this generation's weird experimentation with less-committed relationships are different than why we were polygamists before. The question is should that matter when choosing a polygamist lifestyle, and I kind of think it does. In those cases it's not a trend back to "natural" behavior, but a lack of discipline that tends to bleed into every aspect of their lives. If a person like you, Muggi, were to compare their lifestyle to say a fickle celebrity on their 3rd marriage in half a decade, that's a disservice to you and pro-polygamists.
  3. What, you mean you don't like having waifu-large eyes and heavy eye-liner with a squished pig face?
  4. It's okay, I'll ban him if he does (and then get fired.) :D
  5. YO HOW COME YOU IGNORE ME

  6. New status update. Yes.

And it leaves me going "Huh?" ... =s

  7. Does the Saradomin Murmur amulet have stats in the beta yet? I'm curious to see if it will have a higher crit bonus than the fury.
  8. Jagex is not doing this to take a stand against stricter privacy. They're doing it because it's expensive to do otherwise. When they say it in that way, as if companies everywhere haven't acknowledged the prevalence of identity theft or phishing or whatever...That really pisses me right off. If that's the direction they've seriously gone why are they allowing accounts to be linked to facebook? The left hand really needs to start talking to the right before they start coming up with these bullshit excuses. I'm just flabbergasted/gobsmacked/baffled/whatever word you want to put in here to express my deep annoyance and frustration with this company. charliebrown_augh.avi
  9. Pretty much speaks to almost all the player feedback given during the EoC and how it was handled. Of course they still have a lot of time left to tweak these things but yeah, kind of like a face-slapper there.
  10. Ya know, you can always fill out an Account Recovery form. Been meaning to mention this to you but I kept forgetting.
  11. Skills & Minigames: The Big Chinchompa minigame now more reliably checks if a player's score exceeds 1111 for the Completionist cape. This was in today's patch notes so this might have changed.
  12. Not really easily, Jonanananas. It would have been a lot more expensive for them to do a proper 2-step verification. I'll admit it's pretty clever that they basically rely on email's 2-step verification to do the work for them, but they're still using it in conjunction with a broken system. The thing is, it would have been worth every penny. And they should have those pennies to spare now that the community is more or less open to MT's. I'm grateful for whatever extra security I can get from Jagex...once the system works properly...But they're lagging behind in this department and they have been for years. You would think that now would be the time to actually invest some more money into it, considering the show they've made of being competitive in their industry.
  13. Having physical copies of anything that relates to your security is bad design. That's the issue, not their imagination. Of course they can and will do what you were suggesting. Chances are they already did previously. But they're understandably frustrated that they're making the same mistakes they did with the account recovery system. They said this would be a way to secure your account when the means to do so leave you vulnerable.
  14. Okay, there goes an era. Oh god NO. I'm the gorrilapig again!
  15. I think if your partner makes you feel guilty about them then they're wrong to do so. That's a fault with them, not with the type of relationship (which I assume is what you meant? I don't mean to jump to conclusions here, just trying to follow the track of conversation.)
  16. I can agree with that statement, but I hope you understand where the confusion came from since that isn't what you originally said. Sorry for the trouble.
  17. You don't direct sexual attraction. Getting mad at someone for finding another person attractive is only an issue if they act on it, and many don't. That's like getting upset for your partner watching pornography while masturbating.

I'll have to try these things next. I also wanted to make fudge today, but I found out my candy thermometer was broken when we moved. Bah! Not a good week for me when it comes to cooking.
  19. His answer doesn't really change the question you were asking now does it. So instead of waiting, I asked you directly. That's a discussion. Now, see, I agree with that. I just wish it didn't take 5 posts to get to your point.
  20. Woosh You missed the point of what he was trying to say. And wait, how exactly is slayer profitable if you're burning through cannon and overloads? Turming every task is common sense but there's no way you could profit on slayer going for the best kills per hr.
  21. Why on earth do you suppose I'm saying nix the plan? All I was originally trying to get at was putting landline support like Google's 2-step verification does for those who don't have a smartphone should be reasonably high on the to-do given that there's still a sizable amount of people who lack smartphones. We're still a long way off until smartphones fall below the 100$ mark plus data/texting contracts in the US are still outrageously gorged in price. It would be a shame if they put all this work into giving the users protection they need (for a price) if not everyone can take advantage of it.
