  1. New equipment? hopefully it will drive the lower level equipment down. Stuff like dragon being wtf expensive is silly.
  2. granite shield offers the same defense bonus.
  3. It takes a very simple explanation for the usage of moulded ash as armor. The magical powers of the ash imbued with the ashiaz spirit strengthen the armor beyond their usual bounds. Same reason why it somehow is worth it to use ancient weapons.
  4. Compost is used to make mud pies...
  5. How long have they been working on the skill? If its combat based then because a vast amount of runescape is based on combat. It would take them a long time to bugfix and balance and such. To be honest i think its going to be a processing skill. But The results of the skill will be untradeable.
  6. The jagex mod who made that statement said something along the lines of " wow i never knew how far my comment would go, I wonder what ideas you would've come up with if i had said v" though. Its inconclusive at best.
  7. ask friends to get some for you and buy from ooglog there really isn't that much you can do besides that.
  8. In general just make sure they don't pile you. Bring standard slayer gear as others have said. and don't be afraid to bring food. They drop some charms and a few alchables.
  9. You mean ROW makes aviansies less profitable? Thats just as murky as the mechanics of the ring of wealth itself.
  10. This wouldn't be good junk.
  11. no. the ice tower works in mixed books.
  12. Hello all. I'm just wondering about scarecrows. Does it mean anything when the weeds grow on their allotment?
  13. I agree with the first article. hunting and farming need to be more involved in making food.
  14. Ice tower can't be sunk. In team games full books are a bit more common. It become a more viable choice. because it cannot be sunk and heals with snowball. a good spell to start off with. the loss of clock isn't too major.
  15. As other have said before its weak to mostly hiding and tanking. but those strategies are more uncommon than what those spells are going to do well against As for team games... Hiding is a very powerful tactic in team games. You need a way to keep the hiders on the move and develop pressure. mixed books usually have trouble dealing with a hider who survived the first 5 turns. My best team games were when i hid. all my allies died and my foes were unharmed but i still won. And in team games its also worth considering using ice tower instead of clock tower. (Depending on how much full stone you are seeing)
  16. You can probably get away wearing high mage defense armor and bringing an inventory of food.
  17. its all random. i've gotten 7 spirit tree seeds from 65 wc to 68
  18. In general its because of high level updates. Rs focuses on the high level updates and thus people will generally force their way to the high levels. Xp is more valuable than gp because of a variety of things. Mostly high level untradeable updates that confer powerful bonuses or have a sense of pride. Skills like herblore are like having a good strong weapon.
  19. Even though i buy almost everything from the G.E. i feel the economy has no effect on me. and thus i don't pay too much attention. I keep an eye out for really obvious price increases though.
  20. Do you still need to have beaten mep2 to get dark beasts?
  21. Hello all. Recently i got assigned a waterfiend task from duradell. I thought it wouldn't be that bad of a deal so i looked up some guides and went off... It was a horrible venture. I had killed no more than 15 before i had exhausted all of my supplies. Is there a more efficient way to kill wfs that won't cost me 1+ mil each task? I am using mage defense gear with torag's hammers as my crush weapon. I was praying prot from range but i didn't hit enough. I was using about 2 doses of prayer pots per kill. Any advice? My stats are 77 atk, 73 strength, 75 def, 77hp, 62 prayer and 64 magic
  22. Nope. I talked to her about her father. and why she doesn't stay with him.
  23. Not true. One strategy is to poison your opponent before switching to a different weapon. Special attacks and poison are seperate. If I poll 1000 people, how many would rate a weapon as a useful one because of the fact that poison can be applied onto it? The dragon dagger is an exception to the daggers suck rule... But it an auxiliary weapon. Players only use it if their regular weapon has a bad spec or no spec. (Whip, barrows weapon, d scim) And even then it usually isn't worth bothering with unless you are fighting something hard to beat, where poison helps. I don't bother with it because it has a lower accuracy and power.
  24. What's funny is, now it's the exact opposite; we now have merchanters who drive price crazy high. Which do we prefer? each had their pros and cons... though.
  25. Well in my opinion revs are supposed to have crappy drops... But they should also have some decent drops... IMO they should drop things a pker of any time span might have worn. If jagex made them to be like pker's of old then why don't they give you rewards like a pker would? They are all dirty one itemmers. and they don't do anything good for us except annoyance Pkers never carried their bank with them if it was in gold.
