  1. Reading MMH's suggestion only makes me think of one single thing: The Fremmy guarded island with a RUINED KEEP on it in East Wilderness and North of Slayer Tower. Does that sound like the Deepstone Keep described by MMH?? I think there's a lot of evidence pointing to that Jagex actually decided to work MMH's suggestion into the game. (I mean...he is a Jagex employee afterall!) I can't find the Wilderness Castle thread but I'm sure upon further comparison between those screenshots and MMH's descriptions, we'll find many parallels. Perhaps Jagex is working instanced boss fights into the game and MMH's suggestion is how they're doing it? but his suggestion was never finished.
  2. Logged out by grand tree. Ready to quickly check for some farming xp then bunker down and get 86ish cooking.
  3. He wasn't? There were no methods to create runes in the 2nd age, only what was given by Guthix, which is why there is a limited supply. then why is there a runecrafting skill stone... Maybe perhaps he just embodies all that is noncombat related?
  4. If he was an avid runecrafter... why was there a limited supply of rune stones?
  5. Yeah, after you've pretty much gotten everything else there isn't much left to get. You have the power to buy one so why not.
  6. 1 - Yes. 2 - Cooking. 3 - Traveling to the location where i will begin training. I already had the supplies for some cooking xp and tree seeds all i did for prep was plant the seeds and make sure that i had plenty of trees ready to be checked for health.
  7. well you can sell the duelling ring (1) for nearly its full price. this reduces the cost greatly.. and when i trained summoning. I used house teleport then teleported to camelot. not very fast or efficient but i was working with what i had.
  8. i'm pinning my hopes on a skill where you create a dungeon. But the dungeon is designed to attract monsters. Like a subprime mortgage it will lure the monsters in and then you can kill them.
  9. but don't you need to click something to see the advert?
  10. they are lamps in the haunted woods. you can burn a piece of splitbark on one to give you 10 prayer points. probably implemented so people might cut hollow trees since its in an area with aggressive npcs.(but they don't cut the trees anyway) Its both useless and unused,
  11. oog'log store have lots of cheap items that can be bought. like bear meat and rat meat and bird meat and charter ship offer additional things like bananas and eyepatches and seaweed and gadgets and whizmos If you don't clean herbs, clean one of each. take keys off key ring
  12. yes, but the effect is minor. it will be around the same seeing as runescape is luck based. and there still are 0s just no 0.1s rounding down to 0s, meaning slightly less 0s will appear Before update man hits 0.1 on you rounded down to 0 loss of 0 hp (0 lp) Bunyip heals you for 2. dragon hits 2.7 on you rounded down to 2 loss of 2 hp (20 lp) After update man hits 01 lp on you loss of 1 lp bunyip heals you for 20 dragon hits 27 on you rounded down to 27 loss of 27 lp
  13. Do you get less xp for each point of damage dealt? I know it should be that way but i was just wondering.
  14. smorgasbord is a type of sandwich, so a sandwich of updates. I wonder how many people googled 'smorgasbord' :P it can also simply mean 'a varied collection', so basically we'll probably get lots of little updates, mostly CC and friendlist related. Edit: Beaten by a matter of seconds :P Smörgåsbord is swedish for sandwich table iirc.
  15. More than once every 6 months would be risky, once every three months or less would be desastrous. But if they keep it very sporadic, like once a year, or before the introduction of a new skill, it would be nice. This
  16. Anyone with around 5.5k talon charms should be able to go from 77 to 99 summon in like 3 hours  (whoever has that much)
  17. *bows* Thank you. Wow can't believe it's been a year already. Someone remind me whats this is about, I have no clue  Typing in that letter (alt-0181) would make anyone who saw it crash. What the guy did was type it and say it with his chat off in pvp. Thus leaving him surrounded by logged out pkers to kill. rs wikia article on it
  18. barehanded impling catching. <3 i knew it would be implemented. People actually have a reason to catch the little jerks flitting about. (hopefully)
  19. It was a good article. chewed the meat a bit. if i hadn't been paying attention to the discussion about this i'd know what it was about. I have to agree with its point. but the compromise was not too bad. although isn't content based unlocks what quests are for?
  20. There isn't anything wrong with any form of buy then sell shenanigans (except perhaps those clans that were created only to fuel the top's coffers) Players are willing to pay the higher price for it and thats where it all muddles down.
  21. Seriously out-dated and annoying since Jagex have said atleast 8 times in the past 3 months there is no sailing That is what they want you to think. [/spam] If hunting implings will be made worth it i'll consider actually doing that for hunter.
  22. 'orichalc' is latin for mountain copper. it later began to be known as an incredibly precious metal of unknown composition. its quite heavily use in a wide variety of fantasy games (dragon quest, age of mythology From what i've seen) but as others have said... rune is already quite strong in comparison to range and mages armors. to introduce another metal armor would neglect those two aspects of f2p.
  23. i believe so but its as much of a gamble as ever. I've gotten two uncut diamonds with my dragonstone.
