  1. So I've realized I've been lying to myself with all my self talk about how I'd get over my ex. I seem to be one of those people who is absolutely horrible at letting go. It doesn't help that I have 3 classes with her every day, and sit near her in all of them. And that her new love interest is in two of them and they flirt a lot during them. I just can't wait until summer break when I won't be seeing her anymore. I'd like to try to maintain the friendship but it's just not happenning. Maybe one day later on we'll reconnect as friends, but.... ...This post was less looking for advice and more me blowing off steam. That's fair game in the relationship thread, right?
  2. Should I drop her from my signature's quotes in spite? ...And crap now I'm nostalgia-ing everywhere over all the cool TiFers that have come and gone.
  3. http://vectorbelly.com/waitingforgrodoudou.html If you've read the play, you'll love this. If you haven't, this is full of spoilers. It absolutely ruins the ending.
  4. Read "Waiting for Godot" for AP English and am now memorizing Lucky's speech. Holy crap is that work fun.
  5. You can have one or the other; it would be impossible to have both. We are the glass eaters. We are off-topic. Random? No. We debate politics and religion, give advice on love lives, and once ran a hegemony that controlled the entire world. [hide] ...On the existance as uttered forth in the public works of Puncher and Watman of a personal god quaquaquaqua with white beard quaquaquaqua who exists outside time without extension and who from the heights of divine apathia divine athambia divine aphasia loves us all with some exceptions for reasons unknown but time will tell and who suffers like the divine Miranda with those who for reasons unknown but time will tell are plunged into torment into fire whose fire flames if which continues and who can say it will fire the firmament that is to say blast hell to heaven... [/hide] By any name: OTers, glass eaters, mermen, aardvarks.... We are the mightiest of Tip.it.

^Also, we get into tangents with bad jokes rather often. Got five hours of community servcie done today, so only thirteen more needed to graduate highschool.

Going through my old posts, and by page 3 of them I've realized I'm almost never serious on here. Ever. Edit: Oh, I'm reaching my stupid posts now. Oh dear.

I went into General Discussion and immediately was driven to making an angry post at someone. I swear this happens EVERY TIME I go there.
  10. Does anybody know what method he is using? @puns, it isn't hard to come up with a clever pun on a message board when you have 2+ hours to think of one. It could be that some people enjoy silly little tangents occasionally. If a good number of people enjoy them and they don't sidetrack the forum too much then you really shouldn't have an issue with it. In short, don't [bleep] about people enjoying themselves a little, as not everyone enjoys constant seriousness. And that's my quarterly quota for General Discussion posts filled, bye. OT: In before all previous records are beaten using these microtransactions.
  11. Firstly, stock doesn't work that way @above. A 51% shareholder isn't a demigod who has absolute control over a company, because there're laws in place to prevent that. Also, most movements in a company take something akin to a 66% majority. Also, if a 51% abuses the company for personal profit they will likely get their pants sued off of them. However, assuming that this update doesn't break any alws then there is literally nothing we can do as players to stop it. Jagex WILL get a boost in income from this because a lot of our player base is shrot-sighted and young. Hell, a lot of Tip.iters have said in one rbeath that they hate this update, and in the enxt that they bought some tickets. By buying tickets you are legitimizing the update. Sadly, the only real option is "If you don't like it don't play." Except this time it isn't an insult directed at whiners who despise some small change to the game. This time it's a way to abandon a sinking ship and move on.
  12. Curiosity. Just don't forget that curiosity killed the cat. :-w But satisfaction brought it back.
  13. I've never been turned down outright :shades: but I have been ignored, and told never to never talk to them again lol rejection comes in many different forms "Wanna date?" "I never want to see you again!" Sounds harsh.
  14. Oh, THAT is what he meant. I was so confused. Either that or I subconsciously want to date you. ...Wanna try it, bbygurl? I'll lahv u 5eva.
  15. My requirement. Why the hate on disabled women?
  16. Why are you talking about him? Thought your dream was about the girl you like... Anyway, know where you're coming from... Dreams can screw you over and make things seem better or whatever, I had a dream last weekend that some random girl I don't even like asked me out :/ not really sure why, but hey. What I meant was "assuming nothing changes, ie I don't find some awesome excuse to hang out with her via a friend or something, then I won't see her all week." And I went out to a local art museum with my parents and am feeling far more chipper now. I even have a plan for how to make a group event that she'd likely go to and thus I can start moving thigns forward with.
  17. So the girl I like popped up in a dream last night and we more or less started dating in said dream. So now I wake up, and my feeligns for her have been intensified by said dream. Assuming nothing changes, I have no chance of seeing her until break ends, or at the very least until UB Con this Saturday (assuming she goes, which i don't know). Sometimes I hate my subconscious. IT LOVES TO TORTURE ME, I TELL YOU. AHHHHHHHHHH One of the many disadvantages of being one of those people who falls for others easily and hard. /endrant EDIT: A trip to the art museum and thus time spent not stuck at home did wonders for that yearning feeling. Feeling way better now, and have plans for how I'd arrange ways to hang out with her in a group setting a few times so I can gain her interest.

First kiss was technically before kindergarten, with my then "girlfriend." I still have vague memories of us practically making out on hermom's waterbed. And then I failed utterly at interacting with girls and was super shy through most of my time in puberty. Go figure.

...Be right back, changing my pants.
  20. Dreams in which everything goes 100% amazing. Because then you wake up and realize that won't happen and you end up being sad. *Correction: The dream was only about 90% amazing because for part of it the police were trying to murder me. That part was only cool in the "awesome adventure" sense, and I'd rather not have it happen in real life.
  21. Really? From my experience, the girl you are interested in is too enthralled with the gay guy to notice you. Yeah, that can happen. However they're also more or less 100% trustworthy as it's not like they're going to fall in love with the girl you're gunning for or something. It all depends on the type of girl and such. The girl I'm going for now is an old friend of his, and thus she isn't going to be too enthralled by him. Still, a gay friend is an invaluable asset when it comes to information gathering and the like.

I got DKII working on my laptop which is wonderfully nostalgic. I'm also working on my masquerade mask for prom (masquerade themed prom? Hell yes), and a flier for a tonfa seminar I'm going to be running at my karate studio. Also memorizing Lucky's soliloquy from "Waiting for Godot" because I'm a masochist. And by "working on" I mean procrastinating of course.
  23. Best thing about smilies is that they're flirtatious, but the reader of them tends not to notice that. "=p" can allows you to get away with insults and bragging: "I'm better than you at everything." vs. "I'm better than you at everything =p" "XD" is a general way of diffusing tension and showing you aren't upset. "I fell down the stairs and broke my arm." vs. "I fell down the stairs and broke my arm XD" ;) and ;D are both pervertedness inserters that won't be taken seriously but can place ideas in people's heads. My main ones are "XD" and "=p" which I spam to the point of meaninglessness, and also "8D." Chicks love smily faces. On a semi-related note, I'm considering asking yet another girl out. I had courses with her back in 10th grade, and we still talk in the halls occasionally. Her being CAP English and me being AP, conversation wouldn't be an issue. As an added bonus, her last relationship ended about when mine did, meaning she's likely looking again by now too. My main worries are that 1: I can't start escalating things as she doesn't have a Facebook, and 2: We don't see each other outside of school often at all. I figure I'll get my friend to do some snooping/ try to set something up so that we'd end up hanging out for me. (Side note, gay friends are wonderful wingmen.) If he can't then I'll probably give up on the diea, unless I decide to say "Screw it" and just ask her to prom for the fun of it.

-All time favorite: Girly (The art improves drastically as the comic goes on, but the humor in is priceless. And the story ends up being unexpectedly touching. Other good ones: -LFG -Gunnerkrigg Court I read ~ 20 different webcomcis on and off, but the vast majority suck.

I like all of you. Duff is always fun when he's here (and his profile picture makes me think of him as a terrier, which helps his cause). But all of you are pretty cool. Especially you reading this right now. You are my favorite.
