Sorry, but I fail to be impressed :P The top drawing that you give is true, simply because there are two 'Z' Angles in it. Observe: If angles are in a 'X' shape, the angle on either side of it must be equal. This is true because if you take one side of either of the lines, that side of the line makes up 180 degrees. To bi-sect it at some point leaves two angles, and because both lines are straight, you must get two pairs of identical but opposite angles on each ide of that line. If two parallel lines exist with a line intersecting both, then the opposite angles must also be equal (see drawing). This is true because if you split the diagonal line on the diagram, you get two 'X' shapes. Because the two horizontal lines are parallel, you effectively have two copies of the same thing. This is called the 'Z' rule. Your 'theorem' uses nothing more than this. As someone else has said, it is not really a theorem, it is more of a deviation or derivative of a pre-existing rule. Sorry to disappoint you! Challenge for you: Geometricaly tri-sect an angle. Do that and I'll send you a Mars bar by courier :P

Nice picture. See in the top left hand side there is a spiral arm galaxy, thats pretty nice. And if this is the Hubble Deep Field shot that I am thinking of, can you see about a third of the way from the lefthand side, about a quarter of the way from the top, there are 3 galaxies very close together? Just to the left of them is a very small, insignificant looking galaxy. In fact, if I am correct, this is the oldest galaxy discovered to date, being formed about 12 billion years ago, just a billion years after the Big Bang.

Not really. Merchanting is simply selling to people what they need. If they are willing to pay a higher price for it, that is their decision, they don't have to. Reminds me of the day when construction came out though. I had around 500 steel bars in my bank already, but people were buying nails for ridiculous prices. A quick shifty with an anvil and bobs-yer-uncle, 2 mil quick profit! Of course I ended up spending all of that and more raising my construction level...

Contrary to most people here, I sdon't think this was a partcularly good artcile. It seems to comprise mainly of a rant against bggars, the kind of thing that wold normally be locked even in the Rants forum... This, coupled with a sloppy writing style makes me think that either the Editor has had a bad week this week and thrown it together in a fashion, or that someone other than the 'regular' editor has written it. Actually, some of the information here isn't quite right. Dragon Armour prices are not dropping, they are rising. Two weeks ago you could buy a D Chain for 15.9mil, now the lowest price even being offered to buy them at is 16mil. I know, because I am watching them carefully as I work my way up to one :P

It's an interesting rule to enforce really. I can't see any way for them to monitor the ages of all 5 million or so accounts. I think they are just going to rely on people to tell the truth to be honest. Of course, if someone's parent were to find out that they were playing, and the kid was under 13, if that parent wrote to Jagex, Jaex would have little choice but to ban the account, but it would be an interesting case to prove. Imagine, someone claiming to be Zezima's Mom :P I think it is there for little more than show really. They have no way of proving one way or another, without asking people for more personal information to check. Publicity Stunt

I know you said you on't want to hear from P2P'ers, but there is a pretty strong case fo not giving F2P'ers more bank space. For starters, as someone else has said, it is Jagex's way of sucking you into P2P. After all, it is best for them, it is best for you, and your character. Think of F2P as a free trial version of the real thing. On other free trials, that are say, 30 day free trial, you don't go back to the company after 30 days saying 'Ah go on, just a couple more days, it won't hurt you!' do you? You say 'thanks for the trial, I do/do not want to buy your product' Its is exactly the same situation. Secondly, Jagex have already updated F2P more than they ever said they would already. F2P now has more random events, they have all the holiday events, new armour and Security stronghold. For something that they get absolutely no revenue from, that is quite a lot to give, don't you think? Thirdly, if you have filled up all of your F2P bank space with 'important' items, it really is time for you the get P2P. You simply cannot continue playing the game effectively after this point if you don't have any more space to store stuff. Jagex know this, and it is one of their major selling points for Members. They are not about to give that up...

I am afraid, 'Mr' Devnull that I must agree with the people above me. Kiara may have been joking about whether she was 'accosted' or may not have been, but either way, this topic accounts to nothing more than a rant about people following you about. What exactly do you expect such 'individual members' of Tip.It Staff to say if or when they read this? I'm not sure if eBay lets you trade items for items, I don't think it does. However, it was in the rules that were set that you can trade your item for money and then buy an item with the money recieved, but you cannot add any of your own money into the system, so I am thinking I might try that. Issy, I'm not sure how much it is worth actually, I will have a look when I get back. I'm in Spain right now for a wedding, so internet access is limited to 10 minutes for a Euro. Whilst I think yours is a good suggestion, I don't see the need to change ancients at all. If you have done Desrt Treasure, you will know that it is a very hard quest. A quest that requires such calibre merits a high reward. For the difficulty of the quest needed to obtain Magicks, it is not overpowered. To use Ice Barrager, you also need level 94 Magic. Thisis not exactly easily obtainable either, and as a result, not many people can cast Ice Barrage. Yes, some can, but at such a high magic level they would do some serious damage even without Ice Barrage. Love it or hate it, it's here to stay - Ancients have been in the game too long to make any serious changes, and there has been only limited objection to the new spells.

I'm sorry, but both of those statements are complete rubbish. If you 'x' out instead of logging out, it acts the same as it would if you just left the screen open and did nothing. End of. If you were to get attacked while your screen was open, if you have auto-retaliate on, you will retaliate, if not, you won't. To say that if you 'X' out and get attacked you will DEFINITELY die is just not true. The second statement is again, complete crap. If are training and you kill the monster you were fighting, you still have to wait 10 seconds until you can log out. Exactly the same is true in the wilderness. The only place this does not apply, I believe, is the Duel Arena and Castle Wars. Please do not post things that you don't know are true, it makes you look ignorant. As a sidenote though, this is a good point. Whilst I have never 'X'ed' out, I have done effectively the same thing, and just left my account logged in. I logged in later and I had died, I suspect to an evil chicken, as this was the first day they came out. I lost 2000 law runes, full zammy and a red mask. So yep, definitely make sure you log your account out properly, it's just common sense!
