Hobby's Great Trade-Up! Trading: Pink Floyd and RHCP CD's!
You clearly haven't read the post... No-one traded a Game-Boy for toothpaste, Issy2 first traded it for a book, then a guy named Will traded it for a Kaiser Chiefs CD, then one of my RL friends traded it for her Game-Boy, and finally ClintonsaNoob traded it for two CD's that he didnt need. By the way Dutty, you still up or trading it for a GBA?

~F2P post on official RS forums~ (With A Picture)
Hmm, forums eh... Ive never really used them for anything but trading, whats better on those forums than the Tip.It forums? Tip.It allows images and sigs, more free talk and is generally easier to navigate around, I don't really see where your argument is coming from. But as regards your idea, if there are people who would prefer to just get forums access, then yes I think that would be a great idea. I think you need to do some research though, rather than just saying 'I know lots of people', you need to have an idea in figures of how many people would be interested in enrolling onto such a type of membership before you send this to Jagex.

Tip.It Times Presents: Pixels
Best article I have read on the Tip.It Times since the Editor beasted Jagex :P Seriously though, that was very well thought out, and skillfully written. You have a superb grasp of the English language, and by the sounds of it you study Latin as well. It made a good clear point, with a solid structure throughout. Th only thing I would say is that the beginning is slightly confusing, you say 'the second statement' when you actually mean the third statement. Your list at the top is in the wrong order of how you addressed each stataement. Otherwise though, 10/10, well done

F2P 99ers
I'm sorry, but [what the heck]? No, it's st. Man I love it when people tell people off for using incorrect grammar when they are wrong themselves \ And I love it when people make idiots out of themselves by trying to ridicule someone when they haven't actually read the post properly. imaleber has/had '2961th' written in his sig when I posted the above. The correct grammar is '2961st'. Someone once said 'It is better to remain silent and let people think you are a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt'.

^^WORST UPDATE EVER^^
Wow, what a cheerful topic :? Seriously, Jagex make updates for the common good, they don't strive to make your Runescape lives a living hell. Why cant we have some optimism? On a side-note, initially the Pure Ess update was the worst, I was merchanting Ess at that time, and if I hadn't previously been a member, I would have lost almost 3 million gp. As it turned out, I did rather well out of it, as the value of my ess went up almost two fold. But people also lost money from it, so I would say that initially it was not as well thought out as it could have been, but in the long run it has stabilised the price of essence and had the desired effect on autoers. Other than that, I honestly cannot think of a single update that I actually dont like.

Grocery staff finds drugs in banana boxes
LOL!! :XD: Logistial mistake? They shouldn't even be there in the first place, saying it was a 'logistical mistake' makes it sound like 'Ah, well we're not bothered about the drugs, they're just not meant to be here!' If I was that guy, I would be less bothered about where they ended up and more bothered about the fact that someone was tryign to smuggle $7.8 million worth of cocaine!

F2P 99ers
imaleber, thats a nice level, but you need to change your sig. It's not 2961th, it is 2961st. Sorry to be pedantic but it just seems a shame that you expend all that time getting 99 ranging and then don't get the proper grammar to show it off!

Jagex breaks rule 9, encoraging other to break rule 15
Or make posts like that, contradicting themselves and further adding to the spammage... And yes, I do realise that I am being hypocritical by making this post, but the point needed to be made.

Jagex breaks rule 9, encoraging other to break rule 15
Yep, I thought about this the other day. However, it is their software, and their rules, meaning they can make their software however the hell they want ;) Anyway, are you actually complaining about this or what? Do you want them to change their client, therefore removing all ways of hiding the ads (short of using a web browser)? :-$ before they read this and change it!

wow , f2p wild is becoming rly sad
Well, IMO, defence is there to be used, just as prayer and teleports are. You say you are getting bored of 'Def Noobs', I think what you actually mean is that you can't own people like you used too so it isn't as good for you. People have a right to do whatever they want (within the rules) on Runescape, and they can train their character however they see fit. I don't really see this topic going anywhere....There have been a lot like it before, and what do you realistically expect to come out of it? What, you want Jagex to emove the Defence skill from the game or something? What solution to your problem do you suggest?

Do you mind editting that into something that we can actually understand? I don't have a clue what point you are trying to make. This sounds like it should also be in Rants.

Personally, I don't use SS anyway much, so it wouldn't bother me if it was banned. I find a quicker way of getting into the world I need to is by entering the worlds URL. I have posted this in the General Forum for TIF members to use. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=595076&highlight= I hope to get it stickied soon, but I only posted it today, so time will tell.

Java libraries
So howcome it doesn't say 'Editted on January 3rd at ....'? :notalk: He made the RS graphics library before he made the game? I don't know then, perhaps posting in the correct forum might yield better results.

Java libraries
Why type 'EDIT: oops wrong forum' at the bottom, before you have actually clicked 'Submit'? If you realised you were typing a post in the wrong forum, copy the text and go back, don't just add a bit to the bottom saying 'Wrong Forum' :-k As Paw_Claw said, Runescape was written in Runescript. It is useless for any other application, and why would they want us to develop the game? They have a team of great programmers that they need to keep busy, they wouldn't want players to begin writing their own updates!

Solar Death Ray!!
Pompey, 'scue me for saying but that sounds like some serious redneck activity! Mizand, that wouldn't work unless you added smoke, as you cannot see light unless it reflects off something. If you did it your way you would only see a red dot on each of the posts. If you added smoke though, the laser would reflect off the smoke particles into your eye and you would see it.

All things Golf
My mate captains for the County Gold team, he plays off one and he' 17. He's pretty damn good. I like playing, I'm just not particularly good! I can drive the ball, just not in the direction I want, I can chip quite well because I get a lot of backspin on it so it just dyes when it hits the ground, but my putting is abysmal. On a par four I can get to the green in 3 and then take another 4 trying to putt it in. Its really quite depressing when you seen your score edging up and up! I'm in awe of people like Tiger Woods though - the consistency of professional golfers is ridiculous! You guys seen the Nike advert where Tiger Woods chips it from off th green and it is absolutely perfect, rolling down the hill and just teeters in? Pure awesomeness!
