And wouldn't the problem be that we are polluting the rivers, not that we are using the hormones? No one's trying to say the behaviors are the same. The classification for the behaviors are identical: a sexual attraction. Any sexual attraction is in this category, homo, hetero, pedo, or otherwise. Perhaps, but it does have a negative connotation to it, and pedofiles are widely accepted as disgusting people so to put homosexuals in the same category does have a negative connotation to it as well. Yes, and if you'll read my post I'm putting heterosexuals in that same group as well. My point is that as much as the left likes to say "the state has no place in the bedrooms of the nation" and "people's sexual preferences aren't our business" it's frankly untrue. We have all kinds of restrictions on what's seen as an "appropriate sexual attraction". So - back on topic - what is your opinion then? Is homosexuality right or wrong? As Giordano said, the solution is not a bigger wall (which would really just be throwing more taxpayer money out the window), but a more streamlined immigration system. If it's easier to enter the country legally than it is to do so illegally, we won't have this issue.

That sucks. I have school in an hour and a half, and I haven't slept. I also need to do some sketchbook crap for an art class, because I've been putting it off for months and today is the last day to pass it in. At least I finished my essay.

You guys are over-complicating this. It's really a matter of personal beliefs, and trying to debate it with rational arguments only entrenches everyone further in their own ideas. I'm pro-choice because I believe a woman should be able to make important decisions involving her own body. Since it's a personal matter, making the mother's choice for her would be silly. I also believe a fetus is not a person, or at least is an inconsequential death. It's the past that makes the person, and a fetus has no past.

Pro tip: Play on Peaceful mode. Peaceful doesn't save you from lava, and besides, then you cant make TNT. Mine a 2-by-1 shaft so that you never mine the ground from under yourself, and you shouldn't have to worry about lava. Bring a bucket of water. You regenerate health much faster on peaceful, and take less fall damage. For TNT, fighting creepers is dumb anyways. Make a mob trap instead. It gets old.

It's a pretty straightforward intstrument, and one you'll have to understand if you ever want to be a good musician. If you want to start playing it more seriously, I would recommend practicing some scales - it will help you build the muscles in your fingers so you can play real music.

Not that I am endorsing piracy in any way - but really, there are better ways to obtain music. You could even buy music - what's the point in pirating when you can get many CD's on Amazon for £4/£5? How is spending money a good thing? :roll: Supporting the artists you like will help them stay in business.

Overslept by six myself. #-o No waii. I overslept two hours today, and went in to school late for the second time this week. I guess it's just one of those days. But on a brighter note, the weather has been freaking beautiful - sunny, warm, mild breeze, and all the leaves are changing <3: People at my school are dressing up for Halloween tomorrow, it should be fun.

[spoiler=Large Pics]I've been building a castle in the sky. It's made of cobblestone because I'm too lazy to collect enough coal to burn it all. You'll notice I left the dirt pillar up to it, with ladders. That will be removed eventually. I'll also probably build some sort of dirt structure on the bottom. Also, something wierd happened with the water on the left (near the dirt pillar) when I was moving it around, so now there are random flows (with no flow blocks) that start halfway down. I'll have to fill in those areas with dirt, then remove the dirt. This is the view from the walls of the castle. My spawn point is down on that beach, my spawn base was where all those burning trees are (it was wood, I accidentally burned it down). There's a little dirt house near there that goes underwater, and I have a room underwater that I'm using as a new base. It also connects by an underground path to my underwater glass house, which I don't think is in the picture. You'll notice a bunch of random holes all around the beach - that's what happens when you build a bunch of mines close together. Every time I go in, I get lost, and end up digging a new tunnel to the surface. Also, farther away you can see the bridge and entrance to another base of mine. There's my main world. The castle is pretty much in the center, then west of it is the view in pic 2. Further west you can see my old base, with the lava on top. Also, to the east is the area I explored when I first made a boat. There are random torches and towers around because I got lost and had to make some sort of reference to figure out the way back. I've got no idea why it goes so far north. I can't remember ever going up there.

Perhaps you should open up a can of realism yourself. What? Are you implying that unless crime is completely void in this world, punishment is not a deterrent? Not every single person is going to fear the punishment to the point of scaring them out of it, but you can't deny that it has been a main motivating factor for potential criminals to not go through with it and become an actual criminal. Prison is holding many people back from doing things they would like to do, including people I personally know. For starters, how many people don't drink and drive because they don't want legal trouble? I'm glad you brought up this example, because it proves my point. You can't seriously believe people are out there saying "Oh man, I would get so drunk right now and speed around town in my Porsche, but I'm worried the about TEH FUZZ". Intelligent people choose not to drink and drive because they'd like to keep their vehicles intact and their brains in their heads. Oh... one of these "My brain did it! Not me!" arguments again. I love these. :mrgreen: Read it again. My point is that this person is unusual, and has something wrong with his thought processes. Therefore, throwing him in the hole for a few decades will only make him more unusual, and harm the people around him (which is another issue with the punishment system - it creates these unusual people out of petty criminals). CAN SOMEONE BRING THIS MAN A CAN OF REALISM, HE'S ABOUT TO HURT HIMSELF!!@! No but seriously, I agree that changing environmental factors can have a good influence, but it's no replacement for punishment. I think we all know that people will still commit crime - it would just be filtered a little more, deterring it. Same goes for punishment. It doesn't stop everybody, but some are affected, therefore it is a deterrent. In an absolutely perfect (read: theoretical) society, common people would not commit crime.
