Trololol For as much as you seem to know about the game, I would think you'd be able to read the BTS and figure out the quest comes first. And the TT update is fun, and brought more opportunities for decent rewards from clues.

Unless you literally ONLY do Bandos, get the Rapier. The totem is decent, but don't get it first don't get mercenary gloves unless you plan on barraging a lot anytime soon, don't get the tome of frost I don't think the shields are worth it since they'll only reduce damage on hits over 200, and even then, it doesn't always do it the amount it's supposed to. They also degrade faster since it's both time in combat and damage taken that degrades it. I'd get the Rapier, Arcane stream, scroll of life and gem bag, then wait for the update this month to see if there's any good rewards.

I do all clues because I find them fun, and the chance of something good keeps me going Screw efficiency, it's fun (not like I need money anyways :mellow: )

I see you're close to getting your weapon there as well :thumbup: Really don't have to own one myself to be honest. I go against them alot, I beat out a rapier at kbd consistently using my ZS, both of us using overloads, turmoil, and bandos. I have experience with them even though I don't own them. The problem with this discussion is whoever gets what is so defensive about that choice because they spent so long getting it, they would hate to have it be a waste. Not true, I've seen quiet a few posts around these forums of people who got the Longsword, wishing they had gotten the Rapier instead.

I know Jungle and desert strykes both drop them. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the higher end slayer monsters drop them.

get a verac skirt so you use can piety while killing monsters longer and still have defense to spare.

Because those clue scrolls are very easy to get and mask is like 100% reward. [/sarcasm] I'd say sell it, a whip is faster and cheaper. If you ever need a crush/stab weapon, buy a zamorakian spear. Then you'll still have plenty of cash for skilling/pvp/whatever you want to do. The clues are easy to get, since you only need a level 3 clue for Masks Other then that, 100% agree with this post. BGS doesn't have very many real uses where a cheaper alternative is better to use. If you sell the BGS, you could use the money to buy items which will help you make money faster then the BGS would have risen (does that make sense?)

I've personally gotten t7 berserker, blazer and blitzer. I love all 3 of them

there's only two bosses where the longsword is better Bandos Saradomin This is assuming you're 100% efficient when fighting, and can switch perfectly at places like TD's Also, you'd probably be better off in Verac at Saradomin then you would a CLS, her defense is just too high. I'd only use a Maul over Veracs there The rapier easily trumps the CLS for slayer. Get the Rapier

I don't consider saying the skill is long means it's hard. I certainly didn't think Slayer was hard. My 'opinion' stands (the thread asked for opinions)

Don''t you love when you ask for someone to world hop, you give them the most valid reason concerning efficiency (and being there before them) Their excuse for not hopping? "this is my home-world" Yea, this happened with 3 people at Kuradal's Iron dragons during my Slayer task. At the end of the task, there were 3 other people there, all of which thought I was the idiot and ass for asking them to hop. At least I was almost done by the time they got there....

I like Zamorak Godwars TBH -Difficulty - While extremely dangerous in a solo, it's actually very easy with a team when the attackers feed the tank -Rewards - I'm in it more for the fun, but it;s fair to mention that along with Saradomin, K'ril has high drop rates compared to Bandos/Armadyl. He also dies fast, so you usually get the splits faster -Fun factor - He has low def which gives many opportunities for those 600+ hits everyone loves to see, as well as the random 400+ hits the tank takes, it keeps it interesting and a bit on edge. Also the darker area doesn't give me a headache, I can stay here for hours without getting bored. It's also fun to Solo crash a kill or two from teams during my Spirit Mage tasks. -Achievement - I guess it's kind of an achievement to solo it, but not really in teams.

That was a level two. I've always done clues I get from slayer. Usually I just finish a task, then do the clue later. If I get an Elite that might be different.
