  1. Nope, that function imitates the advantage that people playing on a touchscreen have. On a touchscreen people wouldn't use a mouse. You should read up on the latest in technology. And for all you know I might be playing on one, I just use that function when I swap to my desktop. Edit: Because I have that advantage, it should be available to everyone. Cheezedude and Wicked are kind enough to give up their time trying to provide that same advantage to people who can't afford a touchscreen.
  2. Yep, according to the 1:1 rule it is. Some people play on touchscreens you know?
  3. I would like to point out the following. I feel that the TIF moderation/admin staff are very prejudiced towards TEF. This is because in the past sites such as RHQ and Zybez have had advertisements blatantly encouraging RWT (through ads) for every second that a user would be on their site. No actions were ever taken against them. RHQ and Zybez had links to RWT sites in their ads or they used to have those links. "CHEAP RS GOLD 1$ PER 1M BECOME A MILLIONAIR OVERNIGHT" encourages RWT and general rule-breaking more then a few isolated posts does. As for encouraging botting Zybez has this thread where botting is very much encouraged in the form of many people advocating how it is better to bot skills for the user and for the game as a whole. Links to these site have always been allowed. Now TEF has a few posts that have "illegal" scrips and all links are blocked while in the past other sites that more blatently encouraged rule-breaking were allowed. For some reason, TEF is the site that gets to set the precedent. How convenient.
  4. Threats in PM? :shame: Did we ever find out why Das left?
  5. Erm, really? They're a lot slower xp. It used to be more efficient at certain incomes to use grey, sure, but that's years ago when making 1m/hr was awesome. Oh, I was going by what the AoW guide said so I dunno if it's out of date. Excuse me if it is.
  6. Then don't bother with even praying, judging from your play style (unwilling to pay 6m for piety) it won't be worth it to you.
  7. Yes, but understand that getting peity asap should be your number one priority if you want to be efficient.
  8. Please, you took the time to write that article, I would really like to see you take the time to respond to some of the criticism. What exactly is your dungoneering level is my question. I mean most people agree that the skill only gets really good around level 70-80 and gets better and better as you keep training it from there. Edit: Well done on the first article, I really enjoyed it. You don't need levels to have an opinion. If the skill doesn't get good until 70, that means for a long time it's bad. Level 70 is like 800k exp? In a skill that take 104m exp to max out? Training 1-70 is a minuscule part of the awesome skill that is dungoneering. It's like a person with level 30 combat stats bashing combat. Yes, they have an opinion on it. Yes, they have the right to have and express that opinion. But in no way, shape or form though does that ensure that their opinion is correct. This is the same sort of thing. Edit: You are in the same boat tbh, you have 33 dung and are retired.
  9. What's the advantage of Swiftkit over browser + wikia + Mibbit? Swiftkit has a massive amount of tools built into it which generally makes playing much easier. I prefer to run one thing then have 6 things running.
  10. You want to try and do solo meds till you can consistently get sub-20 minute solo meds. Then you will be ready to dung at higher levels and not drag your team down when you join DGS.
  11. Protip: Learn how to use mousekeys and use swiftkit.
  12. With uni, ee, and a few sharks you should be able to last a while. Just keep rebalancing your inventory as you get better. At first take 1:1 sharks to prayer potions. Eventually as you become a pro prayer switcher take fewer and fewer sharks. Edit: Fishing is a great semi-afk skill if you don't mind slow exp/h.
  13. You have the stats to do them, but it would be more efficient to get higher stats before you try. I personally suggest you get higher stats first, but if you wanted to you could get a few kills per trip. Just don't expect 30+ kills per hour.
  14. I was always quite partial to PvP armor myself while skilling. As long as you aren't in combat with them equipped then they won't degrade. Beware the forester random.
  15. Excuse me? 1 input (keystroke, mouseclick, mousemove) must be one action, no more. Moving and clicking are separate actions. Moving to a predefined spot is not allowed (you can't do that with a mouse normally (that is you can but you need to guide it all the way)). I confirmed from a j mod ages ago that moving to a predefined spot is in a sort of grey area. For example if you used a touchsceen you would be able to do it, so doing that using AHK isn't as bad as it once was. AHK isn't explicitly legal (third party program), but neither were mousekeys and swiftkit at one time. Even using Skype to dung is an unendorsed use of a third party software for Runescape. When those two weren't legal nobody got really got banned for using them and they eventually became legal. Furthermore Jagex detection systems won't pick up on AHK, at least not to my knowledge. The most important rule to follow is that one movement IRL must equal one action in game. So no loops on any scripts you create. Lets say you want to remap something that is 4 mouse movements/clicks (fletching bolts) to the first six F keys, it would need to look like this; F1=click spot 1 F2=move to spot 2 F3=click spot 2 F4=move to spot 1 Of course as script it would look different but this is a basic summery of what you would have that would be legal. The 1:1 rule is the most important rule when creating scripts. It's not the type of thing you would ever get banned for anyways, strangely what I found out from the same J mod is that it is not allowed to to remap something to your mousewheel. Edit: It also depends on which J Mod you ask. The community mods (Timbo) who don't understand these things will say they are illegal. More metagame savvy mods (Kathy) will tell you that they are fine.
  16. It depends on what you plan on doing with your account. For PKing then the defense levels wouldn't be worth it. For anything else they would be.
  17. Red Chins are only more efficient on Nechs. If you go to ape atoll then you want to use grey chins.
  18. 85+ is decent, but really slayer has become a kind of bad moneymaker compared to other ones at least. Sorry to disappoint you.
  19. Most people who get the task can't use soul split. Either way, at most you will need to do 3-4 tasks of them before you move onto a higher master, taking a exp/h hit and ranging them with protect range isn't a horrible thing.
  20. The second article can't be taken seriously. Just take a look at the author on the highscores and their "semi-retired" status to understand that they are totally unqualified to make a statement about any of the things they criticize.
  21. Yea, bringing a friend makes bandos about as good as green dragons.
  22. Long, best of luck to you good sir! I recommend you get 99 fletching at the same time with broad arrows.
  23. Well it makes some people money, but the chances that you will be able to just pick up staking and double your bank are pretty low. The key is to be patient and take advantage of stakes where the odds are in your favor. Edit: The post above me is wrong, you need infinite money for that to work.
  24. Totally! Go for it! That noob is easy to kill.
  25. Lol, if you want to have a super fun time then I recommend using stealing creation sacred clay armor for melee. Also one style at a time is best, in fact the best order is strength, attack then defense. Don't forget that sacred clay helm!
