I could see a lot of people quitting if all their favorite monsters to hunt became worthless. Like in everything, a balance needs to be found. Where's the combat-skilling balance? I see none.

In terms of usefulness, 99 ranged and magic would be your best choice. In terms of speed, Cooking or Fletching. In terms of money made, Hunter would be that. Maybe Wc through magics or something.
