  1. So I finally unlocked the pincers this morning. Something weird happened though. I had two voyages for the missionary before I unlocked the Pincers which were for bones and experience. Yet, once I got the pop-up telling me the Pincers were unlocked I instantly had another Missionary voyage for the 25 plate. Can't complain I guess.
  2. Where's that MJ popcorn Gif when you need it?
  3. Well it is a SoF promotion, what did you expect?
  4. The obvious is not too clear for you guys right now. What Jagex wants to do is bring back the 2007 servers and update them simultaneously as in a way to start over. To see where they went wrong and what we as a community really wanted. I wouldn't be surprised if in a year or so 2007 servers become extremely dominant and Jagex dismantle current Runescape. Am I actually reading these words? This topic is going in the exact same direction as the free trade one did. All these individuals that feel the need to start spazzing out on the forums to declare war over something that isn't even debatable. News flash everyone: This isn't a competition between people who prefer EoC over '07 servers and vice versa. I wish Jagex hadn't announced this so early, now I have to tolerate two months of utter [bleep]s whenever I visit the forums.
  5. No they won't, because there won't be anyone to sell to. But on a serious note, I'm really not bothered about this either way. Rest assured, these servers *are* going to return because there is an audience for it. I won't be voting though, and outside of nostalgia there is absolutely no reason why I would ever want to play such a backwater, outdated game again.
  6. I haven't done the update, could you put it in spoiler-tags? That sounds interesting.
  7. So now we know why Zaros was called the 'Empty Lord'. The name is actually a lot less mysterious than a lot of people speculated.
  8. I'm just in utter disbelief that an employee of a professional company is researching and emphasising the importance of something so damn frivolous. It's actually pathetic.
  9. Moving out at 18 is more of a historic view than anything. In the economic climate we have now, you have to be part of an extremely priveliged family or live in a state owned house. I'm 22 and I'm lucky to have a supportive family who didnt kick me out at 18. I would love to have my own home but I refuse to rent and even though I work my ass off I'll still have a few years before I can get a mortgage.
  10. Newest BTS vid makes the Slayer Tower look pretty cool. Shame there's nothing in it for people who already have 99 Slayer outside of some new journals. Also, looks like we won't be getting the quest until the final week of Feb.
  11. I'm still wondering if the reset they did on the release day will count.
  12. Honestly I can't think of one. I bet what Suomi is achieving will be the biggest accomplishment in terms of pure dedication and time in any game respectively. Its hard to compare another game with runescape, but one of the oldest and first game created may have a person who has an accomplishment equal to Suomi or better :P. We all heard about Pacman, and find it a fun amusing arcade game, but many of may not have realized that the first person to accomplish a "perfect game" in Pacman was Billy Mitchell who obtained it in 1999, while Pacman was released in 1980. (19 year gap). As of now I believe six people have accomplished this "perfect game" But the point is that a "perfect game" in Pacman is extremely hard to obtain, and must take thousands and thousands of hours of practice almost to the point where it could have taken more hours than Suomi. It took Billy Mitchell 6 hours to complete that "perfect game" in which he had to do the following: Never die once. Not once the entire game must be beaten on the first man. Eat every dot. Eat every energizer. Eat every blue ghost. (Must do 4 times each energizer, for a total of 16 each level) Eat every piece of fruit. Make it to the 256th level. For those of you who have played pacman before, you probably understand and realize how hard it is to do things like eat every ghost in the first level, nonetheless imagine the last level. Completely off topic, but everyone should watch the documentary King of Kong to see how much of a [bleep] Billy Mitchell is.
  13. Sadly it's already dead. I tried twice to play today and both times there weren't enough people to even start one game.
  14. I found it pretty fun too. The rewards are slightly lacking but as far as D&D's go, it's probably one of the better ones.
  15. Free bank space = best part of this update.
  16. The only people that bring up donations as a focal talking point are the players that donated to him in the past so they can feel that they played some part in Suomi getting 5b.
  17. The full set does bonus damage too. I seem to recall the news post saying the crossbows do damage akin to Dragon.
  18. Has anyone actually gotten Demon slayer armour drops outside of the wildly yet?
  19. Death Lotus armour seems to have been extremely shafted in the looks department. Tetsu and Sea-Singers both look amazing in comparison. Also, did anyone else notice the chatbox message in the last picture? It says 'Zarosian demonic energy'. Isn't it supposed to say Zamorakian?
  20. I wonder how a Dungeoneering D&D would work, assuming that's what it is.
  21. Agreed, it looks really lame.
  22. What are the three items behind the water orbs?
  23. Jagex's idea of amazing drops clearly doesn't translate well to my idea of good drops. First kill - 20k Second Kill - Nothing Third Kill - 20 Mithril Bars
  24. After watching the BTS video again, the old guy at the very end looks a lot like the Frem Saga's guy.
