  1. It's no more delusional than the people who claim that 50% of the population that play the main game are bots. The fact is, nobody but Jagex knows the ratio of Bots:People.
  2. Doubles are only the resource voyages you can get from day 1 Stories jump straight to triple so with your setup you can only get Missionary, Convict, Botanist triple - which can shown up when any 2 of them are in the port. Gotcha. Also @ the above, based on the last estimate on this thread I'd say at most around 30m for top, 15m for helm and 20m for legs. That's just a guess though.
  3. Finally done every adventurers final story mission (except Occultist because I'm not 90 RC), is there now a double voyage to do before I get the triple ones or does it go straight to triple?
  4. This should suffice. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Evolution_of_Combat Pro-tip, never use the official Jagex wiki.
  5. Maybe people enjoy the gameplay? That is the point, after all. If you believe 90% of what people that play RuneScape say, then no, people don't play this game for fun. What an absurd idea.
  6. 2007 advocates stamp their feet and swear blind that their wants are justified. The majority let them get on with their protest. Players complain that Jagex have directly contradicted themselves and broken the first promise they made regarding 2007 servers which are perfectly rational. 2007 advocates take it as an attack on their holy grail and dismiss said concerns. ?????????????????
  7. It's a shame all the people who whined like children for the 2007 servers to come back didn't do that.
  8. Such a stupid move from Jagex. Regardless of whether TWW was delayed or not is irrelevant. Nobody, not even the people who play the 2007 servers is going to watch a BTS video about something everyone already knows everything about. It irritates me to no end that they could have easily avoided such a shitstorm (lolfutureupdatesforum) if they just provided some damn clarity on the subject. Did they just expect nobody to care that they made a BTS video on 2007scape after saying last week that this weeks BTS video would be on probably the most eagerly anticipated update in ages.
  9. It's time for Waterfall Quest.
  10. When did runeshark open a video with "[bleep] you, [bleep] you jagex, you [bleep]ers, [bleep]ing everthing up" Not necessarily in the opening, but they've said "[bleep] SoF" or words to that effect in their livestreams before. You are implying Jagex deserve player's respect? Blocking people from their YT channel who post politely worded criticism which gets the top comment doesn't strike me as the behaviour of a company that deserves my respect. And after the piece of shit that was 2012? After that catastrophe they have a long way to go before I'd talk to and about them with any degree of respect. Everything you write on this forum is just full of contempt and opinionated bullshit. I have never, and will never, understand why so many people simultaneously outright criticise a company on a daily basis but still lurk on forums to, in what I can only assume is a desire to make people think Jagex is the devil. I've been following this thread since before I even created an account here because the dedication that a person has to have to do something so repititive for years is pretty staggering. I've never bought into all the fanboyism and admiration of players though, and I haven't seen Suomi's video but from what others are saying, I can't believe people are still defending his actions and slating Jagex. Regardless of his achievement, outwardly and explicitly criticising said company after using their product for so many years is perfectly within his right but it is rediculously hypocritical and disrespectful. Suomi's attitude has gotten progressively more sour as he's gotten closer to 5b and it's actually embarrassing to read some of it. Nobody with any sense or maturity would criticise a company for calling such an event off and I'm surprised it took them this long to do it, I would have lost respect for them as a company and they would have lost whatever integrity they still have. But clearly, I'm a Jagex fanboy for having common sense, because obviously, only very intelligent and level headed people can see Jagex for what they are: THE DEVIL INCARNATE!!!!!!1111111one.
  11. Am I the only one who finds it quite amusing that Jagex are assumedly planning something big for this when the player in question hates the company in a very vocal manner? It's like the guy who thinks he's part of the joke when people are taking the absolute piss out of them and doesn't realise he is the joke.
  12. I don't think I've anticipated a quest as much as this one since WGS and, to a lesser extent RotM. Whoever the figure is on the far left, I want their robes. Edit: Also, does anyone know what the creature is at the back?
  13. My money's on Sliske to be honest. Like Sy said, there are some similar characteristics and the shadowy figure, minus the face, does look like a graphically updated version of him. Let's not forget, RotM is already two years old and considering how good they made Kharshai look, I wouldn't be surprised if they were planning to update other Mahjarrat models. Also, the purple particles around the hands made me think of the Barrows lore story where it describes how Sliske's power seeped into the Barrows like A thick purple fog or whatever.
  14. Actually, it wasn't just the similar names that linked them together. Koschei's backstory specifically details that he washed up on the shore of Relekka with absolutely no memory of who he was or where he came from. There's also details written somewhere (for the life of me can't remember) that state an individual saw a previous ritual take place and was so bewildered by witnessing something so incomprehensible that he blacked out or lost his memory. I'm heavily paraphrasing there and someone else may remember the details better than me but the link definitely wasn't as thin as they shared similar names.
  15. Brace yourselves for the greatest pair of shades ever. I'm the one in the middle. Disclaimer: These were both taken when I was insanely drunk, which probably goes some way in explaining the poor quality. From a party from a few months back. I have more recent ones but, damn I look too good in a suit not to post it.
  16. I played a game with a mech that looked like that once. It wasn't called Phantom Crash by any chance was it?
  17. As soon as I saw the in other news section about a Fremmy in need I almost spazzed out. Being a massive lore nerd this was just simply brilliant. I'm surprised that they put so much effort into such a reveal though, wasn't actually expecting the cutscene and everything. Also, isn't the an item from classic?
  18. Would you mind giving some examples? I'm not calling you a liar, but I find your statement to be quite overstated. If anything, it should say 'EoC destroyed whatever skilling market that still existed'. Skilling hasn't been competitively profitable since before Godwars existed.
  19. Time for some shameless plugging. One of this weeks Tip.It articles is on this topic. Check it out!
  20. It's refreshing to read a different viewpoint on the subject, thanks Nabbagad. In all honesty, I can see exactly where you are coming from and were I in your position I would probably do the same thing.
  21. Bad drivers. Seriously people, you have a lever right next to your steering wheel that tells others what direction you are going. USE IT. Arrogant atheists who think they are somehow enlightened because they *know* God doesn't exist and believe it is their duty to belittle others and force them into their way of thinking.
  22. A lot of these first jobs sound so interesting. As for me, my first job was when I was 20, working at WHSmith (a stationary store) which, for retail, was actually a lot of fun. I think a lot of that was the people who I worked with though. Only worked there over the Christmas period until Uni started again. After I graduated last year I got a job at HMV (another retail store) which, was mentally draining as it seemed to attract complete halfwits. Anyway, I left there about a month ago and now work freelance for various film/games sites and am considering a masters in Journalism.
  23. THAT is annoying as heck. I really hope it gets fixed with the shift to HTML5 Damn, I thought there was something specifically wrong with my laptop that was making this happen, didn't know it was a problem with the game. Definitely something that needs to be fixed ASAP.
