Also it stops the large amount of spam posts that would probably arise on weekends. It's a shame but like most things its there because of the innate human desire to be destructive.

I just feel abilities need to be more like mini-special attacks rather than something you are using constantly during combat.

That's been the case for quite some time I think.

I think that the outfit is only possible to receive after all the events have been completed however if you have completed only 3/4 events you will still receive 3 of the armor pieces after the fourth event.

Does anyone know if its still considered to be against RS rules to be logged into the Beta and the live game? Is it even possible?

Am I just awesome or is range seriously overpowered? I've been raging in the duel arena today and seem to be able to easily kill level 200 mages and without serious difficultly take down level 200 meleers (though harder if they have some reasonable level of button mashing know how). It's not even like I'm very good at the whole abilities shebang I basically just mash a few defensive abilities and a couple of basic abilities then just threshold and ultimate them until dead.

That chart gives quite generous estimates I've personally found that I used substantially less than it allowed for - this was however potting with overloads and using quite high end gear.

I think its a shame that people's join date is no longer written under their name/avatar it was one of those pieces of information that told you a bit about the user at a cursory glance. Also, my one warning point is going to shame me and irritate me forever now + it was over a year ago! Do they not ever expire? Having said all that negative stuff though generally this is awesome and I'm already enjoying the new features.

First time on Beta today tbh I found the gameplay pretty boring. One thing that got me was how I found barrows fearfully difficult and had to tele on the 3rd brother while I stayed at Armadyl for 3 overloads on about 6 super prayers and 4 rocktails before getting bored.

Skele's are not too crowded you will probably end up sharing your spot but from my experience this doesn't dent your xp rates and they will still be higher than Mummies even if you were sharing your spot with 2 mages.

Not in the Beta >:( Oh well teaches me to quit RS for my A levels. Oh well going on holiday until the 4th so waiting for the 6th isn't going to be too difficult.

Reading the RSOF thread about Beta confirmation emails is just depressing.. Everyone is like: "But it will only be bots in the Beta so no point in bothering anyway". Do these people not remember having to sign up for the combat Beta or realize the fact that goldfarmers gain no advantage by logging into to all of their bots to sign them up to the beta. :wall:

Update @ 13:22 The testing is underway. We estimate players will be able to start logging in to the Beta worlds in approx. 1 hour.

Ended up doing it in Void once I'd died twice getting used to the various specials it turned out to be a relatively easy fight used about 8 brew flasks and 2 doses of overload. Cheers for the advice guys now off to chin :)

I picked up one of the AC's (can't remember which one long gone now) because I saw a review in the newspaper comparing its story to that of an oscar winning film. I played it and got about half way through to be incredibly bored the story was ridiculous, the characters unlike-able and shallow the actual gameplay could be fun but it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be so I would agree AC is superbly overrated one of those games were watching the trailer is twice as fun as playing it.

So need to finally get this SW cape so time to kill Nomad and I was wondering how to go about this? My relevant levels are: 82 Attack 84 Strength 81 Defence 77 Range 95 Prayer 83 Mage 85 Constitution Overloads 58 Summoning So I'm wondering about the best equipment and tactics for me? How is this set-up for chinning? Correct amount of overloads to PPots? Should I bring some Prayer Renewals if so how many? Is Ava's or Soul Wars cape better equally Fury or Amulet of Ranging? Cheers. [spoiler=Set-Up]

Yeh 11 moves in total. Turned out I'd let someone boost conquest on me a while back so getting 1250 rank from 500 was pretty bad :(

Is that 11 moves total or 11 moves each?

I'm just finishing up my void set by getting the deflector and I was wondering if there were any particular tips for conquesting? Like how many moves have to be completed before you get the full rank gain and is it better to have your boosting partner forfeit at some point or just go ahead and kill all their troops as quickly as possible. This has easily made up for the slightly dissapointing Og Blog earlier in the week. Also just sold a Master Wand for 15m :D
