  1. Maybe they have auto-retaliate on? Or killing 138s is just too difficult. I don't know.
  2. So my friend said "There's no more quests?" It was then that he was informed about the noticeboard  .
  3. Thanks for your comment. You've made some good points-most kids are indeed not able to see through everything. Many times my friends have assured me X is the underlying explanation for something, yet it turns out to be Y as I suspected in the first place. For gambling, yes they can take those out, but they will just find new ones. Already at least one large dicing clan has moved on to dicing over an IRC channel, and more may follow with subsequent methods being nuked. With regard to doublers, I've heard that you're allowed to report them if they say that it is two-trade doubling, but I don't know if a P-Mod is empowered to mute them...probably not until after a scam has taken place. P.S. Welcome to TIF!

I think they assumed "Yes, but we're not there yet" meant "Why bother doing anything now?" >.<
  5. Congratulations! Personally, I always play with the sound off, but I have a video/music on at the same time, so I guess my sense of hearing is helping on some level.
  6. First of all thanks for the advice. I'm sure it will be helpful to many :). If someone gets your answers and you explain it to Jagex in the right place, I believe they will allow you to set new ones. At least, I saw on the threads that they had reset it for people who had forgotten their questions.
  7. I will say congrats here :).
  8. When F2P gets 500 xp and P2P gets 180,000, I think we're getting the short end of the stick. The very, very short end.
  9. Arceus replied to Zackeri's topic in General Discussion
Yes, there is always an easy or cheap way out. However, as has been argued a thousand times, removing free trade has a detrimental effect on legitimate players, so I sincerely hope they would not go down that route again.
  10. Arceus replied to Zackeri's topic in General Discussion
I think he means that by concluding that one type of botting is better than another, one provides justification for those players out there to bot, by arguing to themselves that at least they are not as bad as the companies who do it.
  11. I will attempt to take advantage of 20%. We'll see how it goes.
  12. A quick recap: 1 has a lot of people but lags and has too much spam to do much, especially when gold farmer spam starts getting through. 3 is no longer crowded except during very peak times, and the fact that 1 never hits max capacity. 7 is Dungeoneering and has a decent number of people. 10/19 are Dutch worlds, which may have some people, I'm not sure. 16 is the leftover air assist community, which is mostly gone. 57 is high-risk pking, hard to chat there.. 61 is the classic skiller world-you will find some people actually alive there. -There is often a system "dump" world-you will see one of the American worlds with ~800-1000 people when the others have 300. This is the server dumping people automatically into one world rather than distributing them-I'm unsure why it happens. Aside from that, you can't really expect to find more than 2-3 people in one place who will respond. P.S. R.I.P 113, 141.
  13. That's a shame, the yew logs were the best reason to kill it. It was alot faster than cutting them Ahahaha..sad but very true.
  14. So here is the week's update, all P2P I guess... King Black Dragon & Dungeon Rework King Black Dragon (Members Only) It's been ten years since the King Black Dragon ate his first adventurer, and although Gielinor is a bigger, more dangerous place than ever, he's still ranked among RuneScape's most lethal monsters. With this in mind, we're proud to herald the return of the king, with an awe-inspiring new look and graphically reworked lair! To tempt a new generation of dragon slayers to face down this three-headed terror, there's a magical artefact behind Edgeville Monastery which allows quick access to his home. For those entering the old-fashioned way via the Wilderness, there's a 10% bonus to damage dealt to the King Black Dragon. The dragon's hoard of loot has also been enriched. We've increased the value of his drops across the board, but there are also brand-new Dragon Rider gloves and boots - with best-in-slot prayer bonuses - and two cosmetic upgrade kits for the dragon kiteshield: one adding ornate decoration, and the other giving a more warlike appearance. Finally, everyone involved in taking down the King Black Dragon has a chance to receive a lore book, chronicling the rise and fall of the fabled Dragon Riders. As with the recent God Wars lore books, this will be given in addition to regular drops, so you won't miss out if lore's not your thing. Step into the dragon's lair - if you dare! How to fight the King Black Dragon: Use the artefact behind Edgeville Monastery to teleport there instantly. Alternatively, enter via the Lava Maze in the Wilderness. Doing so earns you a 10% bonus to your damage output against the King Black Dragon for the duration of your visit. Requirements: You must be a RuneScape member. A combat level of 100 or higher is strongly recommended, and bringing friends will greatly increase your chance of survival. Dungeon Updates (Members Only) Along with the King Black Dragon's Lair, four more dungeons have been updated. Battle your way through the following dens of villainy and drink in their breathtaking new graphics and sound: Brimhaven Dungeon Chaos Tunnels Fremennik Slayer Dungeon Taverley Dungeon Enjoy! Mod Dylan Behind the Scenes Video If you haven't already, you can take a tour of the King Black Dragon's lair and the dungeon updates in our recent Behind the Scenes video: In Other News Yelps has added crates of skilling resources to the Squeal of Fortune. These come in two sizes, increasing in rarity, and contain level-appropriate materials for training the following skills: Construction Crafting Farming Herblore Smithing Summoning The Dwarven Warsuit - a miracle of dwarven engineering - is now available in Solomon's General Store. It comprises a full armour, crossbow, shield and sword reskin, a new teleport animation, two titles and two emotes. There's just one week left for those of you eligible for Sizzling Summer to claim your free items from Solomon's General Store. If you haven't already, log in now to claim your five-piece Tropical Islander Outfit, Squid Cape, Crab Dance emote and 'the Tanned' title. It is now possible to select multiple options from your purchased teleport animations within the customisation interface. When you use your Home Teleport spell, one of these selected animations will play at random. If none are selected, your Home Teleport animation will play as normal. Please note: For other teleport spells or tablet teleports, your ordinary teleport animation (or Sky Jump, if it's one of your selections) will still be used. 15. This sounds good, especially for those users that may have typed that information in here and forgotten about it.
  16. This looks interesting, with some stuff for F2P as well.
  17. How's that with using Shattered Heart to send 20 maxed messages?
  18. Welcome and hello :). I guess you're probably all set by now, but feel free to ask if you need any help :).
  19. If the southeast room with 100% fleshies is packed, it might be good to investigate the two other rooms with zombies mixed in. They are west of the treasure room on the second level-one is slightly south and the other is west through the doors and then north a bit. But before the zombies can deal a bit more damage than the fleshies do. I've frequented those two spots a few times over the last couple months, and I haven't seen them that crowded, just a couple of other people at most.
  20. This is probably an artifact of the fact that the hiscores are cleared in batches (as we have seen from the sudden drop of the number of players on the hiscores such as in Tip.It's tracker), rather than immediately wiping off players as soon as they lose P2P.
  21. It is easy to show that for the martingale betting strategy, you can expect to lose an infinite amount of money, but I don't think this is the place for a math proof.
  22. Ironically, they removed it and claimed it was a glitch, several months ago. In other news, I notice Winh is on the converted list but not the active list. It seems either -Winh is indeed pure F2P and an updated total level should be noted. -Winh has "gone P2P" and hence, is off the converted list (i.e. water).
