  1. The most I remember 2007'ish was around 257k players.
  2. Yeah I never understood it at all. I thought the binds originally would be something like this: Level 1 - 1st bind level 20 - 2nd bind level 40 - 3rd bind level 60 - 4th bind level 80 - 5th bind level 100 - 6th bind level 120 - 7th bind Binds depending on skill levels: level 99 woodcut - primal hatchet bindable level 99 mining - primal pickaxe bindable That's how I think it SHOULD work. But even so, it would not make me interested in Dungeoneering still XD
  3. It is true, I have noticed more aggressive players since the announcement of free trade/wildy - and the return of immature words like "stfu, mofo, gtfo, fu, idiot, yo momma" etc. and are those words really necessary? No. I call that sort of thing "trading insults", which accomplish nothing. For me personally, I have been going to barrows these last few days and now I am constantly getting comments like 'lol why pray?' and 'need p pots/food pls'. Really? I pray because I do not want to die - surely that is simple enough to understand. I could have made a smart remark back like 'lol why die?' but I am better than that, and instead, said nothing - because sometimes silence is golden and it is better than fuelling a fire. No I will not give beggars p pots/food just because they want to take advantage of others by making one more trip before restocking - that is what a bank is for, not people. Come prepared and you would not have these problems. Never would I go around asking for p pots/food, but that is just me. There is burgh de rott which has a bank nearby, provided you completed the necessary quest for it. I go there all the time when I forget my spade or anything I need for barrows. < That is advice I give them. My advice for those players are free, however my tolerance for stupidity or people who beg or take advantage of me is very limited. I am very generous, but at the same time I will not be taken advantage of  Most of the time if a player needs a p pot or some food, I will give it to them - but those who intentionally ask for those items usually 'want' the items, and don't particularly 'need' them.
  4. That was a good read. I was hoping for some future update hints for 2011 though :-( *cough* high level slayer content *cough* About the Runescape's future part though, that will be handy for returning players. I've recently stopped slaying as much, and have done a few barrows trips in World 2 lately - and it's been really fun! I got a dharok helm, dharok legs, ahrim skirt and 2 torag helms within 2 days of camping there, so I will make sure I do some more barrows trips ^_^ trying things out ftw

Yes I think coloured gravestones would be a bit too far/weird
  6. I can definitely see how level 120 skills could work at higher levels, and like you say, with higher xp rates after level 100. Where there's a will, there's a way, and I really hope Jagex make all skills level 120 one day! My only wish is for everyone to be as excited about the possibility of 120 skills ^_^
  7. Obsidian cape/Hunter cape Amulet of glory Elemental Shield Elemental Body Elemental Helmet Steel dart (p)? Ringmaster pants Ringmaster boots Black RFD gloves?
  8. Heh I want a shapeshifting skill too! :-) By luck or chance I came across a player today on youtube who knows Neon Slay. He has made a video on 120 skillcapes! I've added Neon's video to the first page. So if I haven't done the skillcape you were hoping for, check out his video - it has them all! :o
  9. Master Shapeshifting Cape concept: Worked on a new master attack cape for a while too, I have added it to the first page.
  10. The poll (in my opinion) should be: Should extreme potions be allowed in the Wilderness? Yes No Don't mind I am undecided on this Personally the extremes in wildy thing doesn't effect me because I don't PK. I'm pretty undecided on this because we've had new armour, weapons, potions and many other things since the wilderness was removed, so either way there will be many things which will be new to PK'ing. To me, extreme potions would be kind of overpowering in the wildy, but you could say the same thing about Torva giving the player a lot more health. I do agree though that PK'ers should not have to level up a non combat skill in order to be better at hitting higher etc. so I'm 50/50 on this and still undecided about my decision unfortunately :-/
  11. -_- I just had a dream I caught a degraded torva full helm from a 'torva' impling, worth 275M. Then I woke up... well now that I'm awake and realize I'm not rich - and that torva implings don't exist... I heard I like attack xp :shades: 91M to go
  12. Question. When Jagex refer to drops being shown immediately to other players once dropped, does that really mean immediately? Or does it mean the 1 minute rule, where people see nothing - then after 1 minute items appear?
  13. I was like  Then I was like  Will be a PK hotspot :-(
  14. There are quite a few things that make me decide whether or not to bless a grave: Things I do bless for: The most expensive gravestones (angel of death/keldagrim statue) - this tells me they are serious about losing their stuff and are willing to pay a hefty amount of GP to keep their valuables, should they die. Their circumstance. If I see someone who dies unexpectedly because of something out of their control, I'll bless that. Any of my friends gravestones Things I don't bless for: Rude people Gravestones which (usually) cost less than 50k. If I see a little stick in the mud or a little flag for a gravestone, it tells me they don't care about their death, and are almost asking for their valuables to disappear. All in all, I think if you have the nerve to wear expensive gear all the time, you have to realize that there's a good chance that you will lose it one day. Whether it's an unexpected update that you didn't see, a boss that got lucky, a disconnection, or something else. For me, it depends a lot on the situation or circumstance of the death though, and it's up to the player to be responsible for their own things. There are only a couple times I have died, and they were both disconnections. Other than that, I don't die because I'm careful.
  15. Yeah there wouldn't be any players XD or minigames (activities) for that matter. I'd love it if Jagex adopted the Guild Wars approach to death though. Where if you die, you respawn at one of the nearby shrines. It's similar to what we have now, only you wouldn't lose anything, and the shrines are much, much closer compared to the respawn locations we have in Runescape
  16. This. :P I posted a question regarding a good setup for ancient mage camping on the 13th of January, and it was answered by a few other users including setup, gear etc. here's the link if you're interested: http://forum.tip.it/topic/284692-ancient-mage-camping-a-good-set-up/ Hopefully that will help ^_^ also spectral shield isn't a requirement. If you don't have the cash for one there are other methods as posted in the thread. I used: Verac helm Fury Karil's top Bandos tassets Dragon boots SW cape Whip Barrows gloves Dragon defender Berserker ring (i) I got between 80 - 120 kills per trip on average. Ceremonial drops on kills #502 and #656. I stopped camping them after 712 kills though because their street price was dropping.
  17. I shall put in an offer of 1gp for a partyhat :P
  18. That's amazing work! :o I LOVE the crimson red particle effect! I wish I could do that sort of thing in Photoshop - Great stuff ^_^ and I'm amazed at how many people really love the idea of master capes for all skills :D!! I've done a master mining cape after all this time, and I may do a smithing one because so many people wanted it, but other than those two capes, I will still unfortunately not be able to make any more. Keep up the awesome work everyone and I'm glad you are all as equally excited as I am about the thought of master skillcapes for all skills!
  19. Thanks for the reply ^_^ hmmm, I don't normally die, but when I do it's only because of my connection. Before dying at ice trolls doing an elite clue when I disconnected, the previous death before that was when desert treasure was out and I died from the bat guy in the Mort Myre swamp area, although I was a lot lower combat back then anyway. Hopefully I won't have any troubles :-D
  20. Support, firemaking needs a massive update. Also about the flaming arrows - I noticed you suggest additional damage here, and for a long time I've thought they could do 'burn' damage. Like poison, only orange damage splotches :-D I really like the idea of the flaming hammer and pickaxe, to smith bars faster and smelt ores occasionally whilst mining, LOVE IT!
  21. Wait, so will gravestones become lootable outside of the wildy as well? Eek
  22. What I think would be good: Shapeshifting skill (Gorilla statues/totem poles/emotes like the seal of approval emote, all fit in here) Belts - would be a great addition to the equipment tab Abyssal Queen for 99 slayer - nuff said Dyes - for colour customised armour, just to make you feel a little different to everyone else What I think shouldn't be in RS: Guns Horses (Rideable dragons would be more appropriate for medieval times) Can't think of anything else but yeah, those are my main thoughts on this :-D
  23. It's nice that you are trying to help other people with this tip, however this was announced in the runescape news some time ago
  24. Triquos replied to Triquos's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Thanks for the support :-D I'll add those ideas to the player suggestions, thanks!
