  1. Just because it's supposed to be dangerous doesn't change the fact it's kinda douchey for a fully geared out pker to intentionally hunt down entirely unarmed people who pose no challenge and hav nothing to drop. I just miss the old days where often pkers would have a sense of honour and such and ignore such people, opposed to new pkers who seem to do nothing but hunt such people down.
  2. IMO: Win. I don't like the wilderness, because the only people in there a lot are penguin hunters, and people killing them. Fewer people who can attack me is nice. Tbh I totally agree, I would not give a shite if the wilderness went away again. As much as people whined and wanted it back even with it back it's utter tripe. Long gone are the days of honour where pkers would (in general) defend or ignore people obviously doing clues or agility or w/e and would aim for decent battles from which they would not flee. Now we have a bunch of kids 'owning' unarmed skillers and peng hunters by piling them 50:1 and that's about it. Don't judge the wilderness when you don't use it for its main function. You have no idea what you're on about. Just because it's main function is for pking doesn't make it any less stupid and douche-like to active hunt people doing clues or agility or abyss rcing or lurk in pengs chats to slay peng hunters or to go out with like your entire clan so you can lure and 'own' unarmed people on their own but immediately run away if they have any strength. Yes there has always been these douche-issues but back in the good old days, in my experience, the majority were more interested in fair-ish equal fights and many even ignored or protected people in the wilderness un-armed for non-pking purposes. Where as now the majority appear interested in the "glory" of "owning" people who having nothing worthwhile to drop and have no chance at all of surviving.
  3. No, the daily reset for d&d's etc (and penguins etc when the week rolls around) has always run on GMT. During BST the daily resets happen at 1am for the Uk opposed to midnight.
  4. Or just not go to strange sites, seeing how this exploit requires visiting a custom made website for the sole purpose of infecting the user...
  5. At least it filters out when you have the Game tab filtered. lies I live on filtered and I get this message.

  7. By all means, tell us how you really feel. I agree with everything you said but hot damn that was harshly worded and felt directed towards the OP. o_O Did not mean it towards the OP, more towards the scare mongering journalist who wrote this article trying to up sell this exploit as some HUGE security flaw whereby if we do not turn java off we WILL get a keylogger.
  8. Oh noes I can get a keylogger if I visit a dodgey site built expressly for installing the keylogger on to my system? This is going right to the top of my shit I need to worry about list right above having my phone bill abused via a bluetooth hack and having my bank account robbed when I respond to that nigerian prince/lotto. Oh no wait my bad, this is my list of security issues that I don't care about because they can be easily avoided by not being stupid.
  9. Isn't the main selling point (ignoring the 19k xp you already got) that you get a private hunter spot with 1 ticket/point per capture. Seeing as these private spots are apparently pawya, grenwall and a higher xp polar kebbit lets assume grenwalls at 1,100 xp a catch. At 1 ticket per catch in the private hunter spot that'd be 773,300xp without interference from bots other players etc. Sounds pretty decent to me...
  10. The soloman thing people moaning about buyable advantage: Tbh I don't see an issue with this. If you 'need' to buy extra bank space you have more money than sense imo. I've got stacks of crud in my bank for all the skills, plus a bunch of costumes and crap that's essentially useless, plus more combat gear than I really need plus all sorts of mini-game, quest, comp cape task supplies, plus a tab of most of the clue scroll dress up items and I STILL have a good 100+ free spaces even when I've done mtk and a bunch of slayer without selling off the drops etc. If you need the 'advantage' of more bank space you doing sumat wrong, I could see perhaps member gone f2p might struggle but meh you can still have bank space for that if you sort it out b4 you downgrade. That being said even if you do take it as an in-game advantage, it's not exactly one I have a problem with people paying for. It's not like having more bank space is going to make someone earn gp faster, hunt bosses better or w/e. All it means is they can horde even more junk.

The first step is to use up all your energy from the day, trouble sleeping regularly often stems for excess energy which either means you are doing to little or eating too much. Eg if you sit on ur ass all day playing video games you can probably skip lunch in favour of a small snack and have a small dinner. Secondly is when trying to sleep you need to cut off ALL stimulus. It needs to be dark, quiet etc. Playing videos/tv computer etc will keep you awake because the screen is bright which gives a lot of visual stimulus and our brains our program, on a very basic level, that bright = day = must be awake. Dark = night = sleep. So just laying in total darkness and it will help you get tired. Other than that you just wanna force yourself to get up on time/early. If you do that you'll be short of sleep so you'll want to sleep earlier naturally which will push your body clock towards the sleep pattern you need.
  12. Not quite. Vine whip is part of the level 75 tier (While chaotics are 80), and the rapier is now exclusively a stab weapon. As Hedgehog said, chaotics are still the best weapons for their classes/styles. Pretty sure it's still worth getting. oh yeah cls is slash keep getting the 2 muddled and was thinking off slayer req on vine whip doh!
  13. Do they even beat vinewhip? Based on their tiering milarky I'd assume vine whip would be equal too, if not better than rapier (since they are slash weps), not really checked it out though.
  14. Go ton cotrol panel, uninstall all java stuff, delete the runescape cache. Reinstall java, try to load.
  15. They honestly shouldn't even have runes since all it does is encourage people not to train magic. If you need to use magic stones to cast magic, then I'm sorry but you're not a mage. A bit late to remove runes. And what's wrong with needing runestones to cast magic? The game lore is based off of that fact. Different games/movie's magic systems work differently. I have also never felt discouraged to mage because of rune price; moreso because it is usually an inferior option. Ugh. I think it's stupid to say 'you are not a mage if you need stones to cast magic' Not all games have the same lore. Not all fantasy worlds conform to the same rules of how magic works. Runescape magic is built upon rune stones and the lore backs it up nicely, in that we don't have the ability/knowledge to access the energies of the world used to cast magic directly instead we capture the energy at nexus points into stones and then can release it using our skill as a mage to form spells; this is why higher spells generally require more runes because they are more complex to form. As for general talk about mind rune being obsolete, rc being useless etc. It's not like Jagex can't give us new spells, for all we know we will get a quest shortly before/after EoC launches that gives us a whole new skill-based mage book or extensions to lunar or more curse type spells that use mind runes. Heck they could build a whole 'psychic' spell type around mind runes eg creating illusions/decoys, shapeshifting, possession. As for rc becoming less useful, tbh other than a few specific runes rc has never been hugely useful because shops and monster drops bring so many of most runes into the game anyway.
  16. 1) It's viable, but you put a MASSIVE dent in the profits, to the point that it's not kinda a "could use it but meh only minor lose" it's more a "well with juju I can make 1m an hour, without I make more money mining coal" 2) Using juju start at Trollheim (since its aaaaaggges from tele unless you have the lunar one) Doing this you can sip juju then harvest, compost, note herbs and replant all 5 regular herb patches + the first juju herb patch before the juju wears off. It's even doable using home tele for cathurby and ardougne both (opposed to cathurby tele and fish guild tele or ardy cape)
  17. No it does not. All 4 outfit unlocks have come and gone. There is going to be a 'bonus' unlock in early september if you missed one of the 4. If you missed more than 1 of the 4 your still utterly screwed for getting it all. There may be a possibility that the bonus weekend will be worth more than 1 missed piece still, depends how many people are missing 2+ pieces I suppose. Either way I'll take part in the bonus event just to 100% guarantee I get myself the Steam Punk outfit even though I have done 4/4, 5/5 is better :) There is not. Jagex have said it will be be a single unlock for if you missed one previous weekend "While there’s no item unlock this weekend, don’t forget that we’re putting in an additional outfit-unlock weekend in early September, as a catch-up event. So if you missed an item unlock activity previously, you’ll be able to complete the catch-up activity in order to get access to the complete Mad Scientist Outfit. Sweet!" From the beta event BA post for this week. Note 'if you missed an item unlock' is in singular, not plural (which would be if you missed item unlocks). So it is for 1 item unlock.

  19. I think the point was more it's the wrong word use. 100% Transparent ought to mean it's entirely see through, not entirely opaque. So your transparency options are actually measuring Opacity (100% Opacity means completely opacque) You either need to swap transparency to opacity or replace the values of 100%, 75% and 50% with 0% 25% and 50% (not the actual property value, just what they are called)
  20. I've never had issue with my dialogue before, I think perhaps it may just be a combination of factors. One being it is a very distinct fantasy world, and in those you do kind of get to play with speech patterns a bit to give them their own quirks and accents different from anything real world, I was sort of drawing on Tudor, Edwardian, bit medieval, Victorian, period drama kind of airs and graces with a slight twist. Plus the characters in this bit that do talk, particular the two men are very abnormal speech patterns intentional, sort of sales lingo presenting an act, kind of drawing on classic double act slapstick type dialogue. American vs English is probably a factor too since in my head the accents. dialects are drawing on old English london and northern and stuff. Not saying it is perfect or won't be altered, just maybe inclined to think (for now) it's a misinterpretation/cultural barrier based on the fact over the course of my degree dialogue has always been given as one of my strong points in writing and so far my writing peers have not pulled up any issue with it. I don't mean for that to sound dismissive or anything, just sound boarding some stuff that could be why it sounds wrong to you. Certainly keep it in mind in if anything else of the same nature comes up.
  21. Because maging metal drags is still good kill speed and still good xp and still good profit from drops; unless you're being utterly anal metagamer and 'can't' do anything remotely worse than the best there's no good reason to not do em.
  22. It doesn't matter if you like it or not. In current combat str bonus > defence bonus so Bandos is better. In EoC things are tiered so they always get better by tier so Bandos > Barrows > Dragon. Either way both now even more so after EoC Bandos is better and you should have it. Also aversion to degrading armour is just plain foolish. You get many hours of combat out of them, even if you play a fair amount (like 4 hours a day) you get a good 2-3 days of combat there. Plus they aren't that costly to repair, proportionally the helms are highest cost vs what they do statswise AND with armour stand in PoH you get huge discounts (up to 50%) based on ur smithing level which further drops the cost AND if you do not make at least double what the repair cost is in the time it takes to go 100>0 you are doing something wrong. I mean even at full cost barrows is only 230k for the armour set for 0>100 repair and it lasts 15 hours. You only need to make 15,300gp per hour of us to break even. Considering even rubbishy slayer tasks you ought to make at the very least 25k profit in an hour and most tasks will make a fair bit more subject to drops/alchs etc. I mean black demon task, 1 rune chain drop that's like 2 hours of barrows repair right there.
  23. PPS currently is a good cheap option for maging metal dragons if you don't have the chaotics etc. to power through em in melee or want the mage xp.
  24. Some bots have certain drops they will glitchly pick up that will royally mess them up. Like certain dragon bots you can drop an item they'd like never see at dragons and they glitch pick it up, then try to eat it when they can't and get fried.
  25. Worth noting however newspost does say at the end of year all 'in-game benefits' will go from these items, so presumably these stats will be removed at that point.
