  1. I think theres people who just socialise easier in a club and then theres people that just go clubs because its glamorised and cool. These are the people who are like "going to get of my head baht" But if you're someone like me if I am in a club I don't drink until I am a mess. I just talk and drink casually. I treat it socially rather than trying to act like a badass. It fully depends on the persons motives. Most people I would agree are like OP is saying, because people these days in uni are fitted with the idea of you're young, get off your [bleep]. And naturaly people want to fit in. But if you're a logical thinker or don't really care for fitting in. You're more likely just to take it easy and enjoy the exprience rather than forcing it. Its like university, its glamorised to be a big piss up these days. When 20-30 years ago, its where people just went if they wanted a degree in a dedicated field. And even in university you have people like "I want to be a doctor" and they are dedicated to that, may have the odd drink as a release of stress. But they are not there for the glamorised reasons.
  2. This is why Jagex should make GWD like content to release in all 3 styles at once, Plus I think this years been too OMG new equipment orientated.
  3. I don't really see prestige as compitition. Because in a few years many players would of had gone through hell of alot compared to a new player that will never be able to play catch up. Its only a tempory thing. It was very flawed.
  4. No, that isn't the intention at all. I would rather players stayed but be a little more grown up about it and get on with it. Contrary to what you're saying, the spite rests with those who stick around but whip up a cauldron of hate and/or bad feeling. If they can't it's best for them and the newer RS community members that they leave. It's almost like they don't want anyone else to enjoy the game because they themselves can't or won't. Thats the problem, compromise is needed. On both sides. Whilst not the intention it still gives that vibe. It just is not a nice thing to say in general. People lash out because they care, work with that. Simple. And if people are being ignorant and keep ranting. Let them rant, just don't give them attention.
  5. I would love a rubber chicken, I would go wild

Today I called a girl "good girl". She liked it a bit too much
  7. I see alot of people fighting for a game they love, compromise should be made within the community to keep it high and keep it strong. Just saying quit just shows the spite in the community and its not very nice to be around. Not only do people leave one by one, I doubt many others feel welcome. Its just not a simple thing that should be thrown at people who disagree with something. The first step is to listen to their proposal, and see what you can get from there on. Not omg just quit.
  8. Precisely. I certainly don't like every update, even though I mostly think that Jagex do a rather good work. Some protesting when you think Jagex is heading in the wrong direction always have a chance at improving future updates/changes. This chance increases if you use proper arguments, not only 'hate' or 'rage' as it is called on the internet today. Proper motivations can get you a long way. However we can't always stand still. And that is the important thing to realize here. The combat system as it was for example was far from as good as many on here seem to think. Click and wait may for sure work, but that was far from the only thing in the old combat system. And as a whole I do like EoC a lot more. Not only because of the abilities itself. Also, as mentioned above, if you can't stand the changes in game, and just wish to hate on everything without reason, the choice of what to do is simple: Quit. This is just a game. I don't think telling someone to just quit after the game they have played for years has been dramaticly changed and in some cases for the worse. I don't advise playing a regular updated game if you are not into change. That would of been a better way to put it. Its not great that the community tells people to just quit when the games already dying anyway. Its not a nice enviroment.
  9. They should advertise it in cinemas, big bold, not much else to take away the attention. And tv ads are bearly looked at by myself these days.
  10. So all we are really told is part of the reward for barrows and the new slayer monster. Premier stuff that is.
  11. That sounds great if they want to bring back the old player to player vibe.
  12. EoC was supposed to make way for higher level equipment. Yet there seems to be no room for it unless it degrades into nothing.
  13. The problem is that its limitless, it looks more tormenting than fun. And I don't think much realise that.
  14. What if we walked in on Guthix having a wet dream.
  15. That Mod made me feel a little weird.
  16. Well this is an update I wont need to worry about.
  17. I don't think the dragonkin try to take on the higher tier gods. I read somewhere that this is what Mod Osborne said. Since they are much stronger. Hense why Zamorak and Saradomin used the Stone without care.
  18. He probably just wants a little fun.
  19. The best quest of 2013 so far. Even though theres not much compitition.
  20. I just hope they take a few steps back. Not all the way. But enough so that it actually fits runescape and adds the variations we could of had before.
  21. Would rather eat my own poop than do this.
  22. That does not sounds sound fun or competitive at all.
  23. Are you on crack?
  24. That delayed XP update is more interesting than the trees xD
  25. They spend to much time trying to look grand than being grand. RS3 wasn't anything major. To me it was just like every other update. The Battle was the content. I loved the intro. Saw that all it was is BoL and it went down hill. Yet in every article they right about 2013, they are all like "TEH BIGGEST UPDAYTE ROONSCAP HAS EVAR SCENE" In reality everyones reading that and laughing. Unless they believe everything Jagex says. I bet at the end of the year there will be a MMG post saying how exciting the year has been. And how next year will be even better. Grand master is now a title that just grabs attention. When they first announced it it meant something. They were actually "Grand". While Guthix Sleeps came along, with a catchy title and a flawless quest structure. I just hope the next Elf quest matches or beats that.
