  1. Since you won't be getting it from players, it'll probably be relegated to drops from NPCs in the wilderness. Not having to fight players will make it easier to obtain, which will mean the prices will go down, not that they're very expensive to begin with. Corrupt Dragon might actually become a little more viable for free players.
  2. instantly. "arrghh?! i killd him n he droped oly rune?! whs my curupt draon!" the anoying thing is, people will say stuff like this. F2P pking will actually become less rewarding, since you usually got most of the items your opponent was wearing anyway, in addition to the chance of corrupt dragon. P2P, however, will become vastly more rewarding. No more killing someone in full ahrims + a whip and getting a seren statuette and a bunch of taters. What's "taters," precious? What's taters, eh?
  3. I'm interested to see if those of us who got the gloves this year can participate when it comes again next year, or if it'll be something you can only do once, like the Turkey event.
  4. I may have missed something here. If you won then someone lost. Who lost? Lol. The naysayers, those who hate runescape. Those who said "no", when we said "Yes We Can". pls don't bring failbama into this :shame: He's an 07 prod, he uses quotes from movies and famous people as if it was creative or cool. On topic, I can't wait to get back to duelling. Good one, I started playing in 05 genius. Doesn't make you any less of a troll.
  5. Making a [cabbage] ton of money. Money money money.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0 What world do you live in?
  7. Why? When your charge runs out, they become cosmetic items. You're not going to get a new one at 100% charge.
  8. Translation: Andrew Gower is on yer accounts, selling ur stuff.
  9. Nah, what'd be inconsiderate is if the examine for the Haiti Wolf said "The very sight of this wolf makes you quake in your boots."
  10. Now now, it is a very anticipated update. As 1 in 10 people are illiterate, that leaves a good 600,000 active Runescape members (estimated) that cannot read the front page.
  11. I'm not sure that they wanted to bring it back since the beginning. Once they made the decision to remove it they seemed pretty committed. But, it is obvious that they did plan on restoring it well before the "poll" ever got released. They were committed, and they even said at the time it was because their other options were not viable at the time, and that they would work to fix the implementation as time progressed. Again, I'm thinking this was like Player Owned Houses. The idea may have changed, but the basics were there from the beginning until the infrastructure could accommodate.
  12. Need to make about 50 tuna potatoes before this update goes live. Four minutes to go! Also: Farming patch door constantly open? Oh god yes!
  13. First! Over my dead body!
  14. I'm sure they've been trying to find a way to bring back it back since 2007 when it was first removed, much like Player Owned Houses there is a long path from inception, getting the systems to work, and actually implementing them. I'm not saying they knew it would happen from the beginning, I'm just making the observation that they've probably been trying to reverse it ever since implementation.
  15. Here we go. Now to count down the days.
  16. So wolf update today, and free trade in two weeks. Sexy as.
  17. That wouldn't be very difficult, they've already had the technology in place for years. They have systems that stop you from entering Entrana with weapons, entering the law rune altar with weapons or armor, and entering certain areas with a familiar out. They could do the same thing here, with overloads. Someone should log out in the wilderness before the free trade update, with full combat gear and overloads, and then log back in afterward and see if they're still in the wilderness. If they are, can you say massive advantage? Obviously until the overloads run out, but that's still a lot of death you could rain down.
  18. Well the big pkers and stakers will go back to what they've always done. Buying their accounts/gold and botting. Shazam!
  19. Thanks, you've confirmed to us what we knew since December. Now stop making new threads on the same exact subject.
  20. ooo, i remember that, was fun.. how many ppl went crying and might quit the game too ? haha was fun but evil. Reminds me when I would go upstairs in a building in Varrock looking at the minimap waiting for people to go upstairs to drop trade. I would do the same with the tower in Lumbridge. An important note though: MMG said they were keeping gravestones in PvE deaths because they didn't want players profiting off of other player's lag/misfortune. It may be possible that expensive items won't appear if you drop them.
  21. Oh yea, you can milk anything with nipples.

I won't fault you for thinking that animations and textures are the sole reason why Runescape wouldn't work on your crappy Powerbook, once again because you game on a Mac.
  23. Wait...Jagex working over the weekend? Bull[cabbage].
  24. I try not to mention the extreme phobia of ventriloquist dummies I had as a kid. Went on for about two years as well, but it still doesn't make it conversation-worthy.
  25. Runescape classic...trade limit... Hand over your drugs. Now.
