There won't be designated worlds for non-pvp, that area is what we call the "non-wilderness." Otherwise, Jagex wouldn't be moving all of the quests out of the wilderness.

I take issue with people who criticize without any suggestion of their own. It's not so much a "bitter little person" thing as much as it is an expectation of contribution. If there is a problem, the best way to fix it is to get as many ideas as possible. If the furnace is broken, you either try to fix it yourself or you call a mechanic in to do it for you. You don't sit around complaining about how cold it is.

To be honest, I think they should really amp up the armor, then crank the [cabbage] out of the degradation costs. They're really charging us pennies. The only other alternative is to make the armor untradeable. Having degradation costs can go both ways. On one hand, you don't want the costs to be so high that the armor is practically useless because there aren't any training methods efficient enough to utilize it. On the other hand, you don't want to end up like World of Warcraft where degradation costs are the equivalent of a 25 cent toll booth. I wouldn't be too averted to this. Runescape is one of the few MMOs that doesn't have some sort of bind-on-pickup/bind-on-equip system. Yea, there are untradeable items, but they're mostly related to quest rewards rather than items you'd just find on a boss. Having a bind on equip option would result in too many changes to discuss here, but it is something Jagex should really be looking at for their high end gear.

I missed these threads as well. Many "hardcore" pkers are just whiny pusses. If things aren't going exactly their way, it's because either you're doing something wrong/against the rules, or the game is broken.

Summoning was post-free trade removal. Don't forget Jagex was dangling Summoning in front of our faces to distract us from the other hand reaching around and removing all of the trade/pvp features.

There are a lot more variables on the table than just "lolz Jagex r too cheep" when it comes to upgrading hardware.

Green dragons were introduced in 2001, and until the introduction of the Chaos Tunnels, the wilderness was the only area to fight green dragons. They're not removing them from the wilderness, it's not even plausible.

It rises until you give the person something they want, and they book it. Ex: You give lobster They give steel armor You give mithril platebody They give a bunch of runes. You give rune platebody They leave.

Except they didn't change it the first time because people were complaining, they changed it because the banks were fining them over the constant reversal of charges stemming from real world traders using stolen credit cards to pay for membership. I'm hoping that Barrows equipment goes down in price again. Most of the armors more than doubled in the past two years.

I doubt Jagex is going to remove the "you just bought this, now you can't trade it for 4 hours" restriction that currently exists on the Grand Exchange. Doing so would cause too much manipulation, as you'd said.

As Jagex is removing the limits on the Grand Exchange, I'd like to see them replace the current system with an actual auction house, like most other MMOs. I mean, if they're going to have a win-all strategy against gold farmers, then there's really no need to have the GE be anonymous anymore, right?

Yea, used to be Troll Stronghold, but Jagex removed the quest requirements. Still, odds are anyone who would do rune running won't have the 54 runecrafting to craft them themselves.
