Ha, that's worth a laugh. A+ students vary so much it's not even funny. Uhm...what? Words of ignorance (as well as 'doctorates earn more'). In todays world a doctorate isn't even necessary, it will just take you 3 more years (or even more) to graduate and people with a master's degree will earn more by then. But that one was ridiculous though. well, does it really matter in this topic? the problem doesn't seem to be "oh, im not going to get a BA" but more of "oh, im not passing high school/goin to college" and ihave to admit, Blue, you are also generalizing too much. a few cases does not account for the majority... ... just as you can make 2k-4k a month with a HS diploma. but even on this thread this does not apply to everyone, keeping in mind the number of dropouts this forum seems to have

i dont think you understood, the world going down was unintentional, and maybe your case was special/different, but when a world goes down, the server kicks everyone on it but keeps the characters logged the rollbacks are also an unintended side effect of the server crash, not an intentional one

That's just blatantly untrue. Most people who commit suicide have told someone that they were considering it before they do. I know there are statistics out there, but I don't remember them off the top of my head. I don't know where you heard those facts from, but the majority of suicides happen randomly. My school district has had 1-2 suicides per year, and all of them went without warning. That is why my schools have started teaching about suicide, which is also how i know that the majority of suicides happen without warning The ones that threaten to commit suicide almost never do. Even so, they are usually prevented due to the fact that people are smart enough to talk to guidance counselors or parents I had one personal experience with suicide in middle school when i, along with some of my friends, told a guidance counselor about one kid that threatened suicide. It was anonymous, so he never found out who told, but he was not angry about it. People have already made the fact clear - any resentment (if any) that comes from helping your friend is worth it. Even if he is not serious, don't take the risk

I haven't read a book on my own free time in years :o The last book i read (for school) was The pioneers, by James Fenimore Cooper. I would not recommend it. At all. Before i read that, however, i read The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthore. That was a good book. The crucible, by arthur miller, was also good (although its a play) Last year's les mis and The grapes of wrath were my favorites
