  1. she freaking out? seems unlikely, i think its a rumor for a reason
  2. used to, after school we'd try to kick it at each other. my friend made one with pennies and metal beads, and man, that hurt when it hit
  3. don't you know? arguing online and winning regardless of means and logic grows your genitals in real life!!! thats why people argue, thats why its disgusting, watching two (even worse... three... or MORE) people trying to one up each other purely for egotistical reasons. Its like this: Opinions don't match? sweet, a chance to grow some balls online, because i dont have any in real life!!! sad, yes. true, even moreso. I've met people like this in real life (yes, people from message boards, in real life. ewww). They never have the balls to speak out like they do on message boards. This disgusting behavior accounts for most belligerent forumgoers. You're not one of them, you say? I bet you arent. Yea, sure. Point is, people dont like watching people go at each other because its pathetic. Irrelevant, stupid, off topic (most of the time, anyways), but mostly, pathetic.

    Worst Fear

losing appendages and popping balloons. i die in waterballoon fights
  5. this isn't the first time i've seen this thread on a forum. I'd like to point out, usually when this topic is posted, the OP intentionally ignores physics and logic and all sensible argument and instead uses irrelevant analogies to bolster his or her argument. like a troll. and this poster! wow, gj feeding the troll
  6. it should go off when you're hit below 20%. Say, you keep a fury until 19 hp, then switch to the necklace, let it break (the next time you get hit) then switch back to fury
  7. i just want to point out, bracelets go on the wrist, not on teh finger and anyways, im not one to complain (i dont complain about updates) but jagex really messed this update up by putting it in the glove spot. just that fact puts four bracelets up against barrows gloves (or others) which easily takes them out. good job messing this update up, jagex. And knowing jagex, they're not going to change it, they never do.
  8. woah guys, gangbang and gangbanger have completely different meanings. look it up on a dictionary... an urban one, perhaps (OMGSTUPIDCENSOR) and to OP - bad to make such an assumption. unless gangs are popular aroundyour area
  9. uhh.... huh anyways, i've read through a few posts, and it seems like those advocating its effectiveness are grasping for straws... its pretty useless. it drains whole bar, it hits little, and it heals little. save a pray pot in barrows? barrows drains ~15 at a time. maybe. assuming you hit max, and considering the stats (and karil's def)... you'd save some pray pots ddsing him four times instead. as for getting extra pray, that also assumes you hit. and again, i'd rather sip a pray pot and dds four times rather than hope an ironscim lookalike hits i tried the mace a few times today when i finished the quest, i tossed it pretty quick...
  10. A reason to dislike fashion is that it's considered normal to have an interest in fashion. If you have clothes that are totally out of fashion, there is a big chance a lot of people will think less of you and they might make fun of you. I don't see why an interest in fashion should be considered greater than an interest in anything else. Because it's a cold fact of life that when people look at you they make an opinion about you. Thats why people turn up to board rooms with suits on and not jeans and a t-shirt. I agree that it shouldn't be more of an interest than anything else, but it is. I don't care what you wear, but i find it interesting a reason to dislike what others wear is because a minority of people may possibly look down on you. Seems quite a stereotypical view for someone who thinks they are a victim of stereotyping. Not sure if I understand what you're saying. But to me fashion isn't really a problem, as it doesn't affect me a lot. I'm talking about people I've seen who are more or less forced to spend a lot of money on clothes in order to fit in. I wouldn't dream of trying to fit in with a group who valued your clothing style more than your other interests/personality. People should try what I did recently, wear your ugliest clothes and go out looking like you do first thing in the morning. It's kind of liberating, not wondering if you or other people think you look good today, since you know you look terrible. thats your version of trying to fit it. hypocritical, isn't it?
  11. This threads not about the usa so take your antius [cabbage] somewhere else. i think it has everything to do with the US - you try to say the US doesn't have a strong influence on the rest of the world, but its pretty clear the cause of said news is due to the tendency for people in the US to rate other cultures in comparison to their own.
  12. the only things i mind... fat girls in tight clothes, and guys in tight pants. oh god... t-shirts with those internet one-liners are pretty bad too, but i can tolerate them
  13. Exactly the same thing here. If you are from Tennessee also, that would be very creepy. no, nj here :P TImes 9. Nine bomb threats. From sharpie on bathroom walls. Eh, we missed about a week, so I didn't care. we had something like that too. cept all we missed was like... half an hour of class
  14. two or three days ago, some kid at my school sent a text to his friend saying he'd bring a gun into OUR school to reenact columbine. he was arrested and expelled, but threatened that he still had friends involved in school no surprise, today had the highest absentee percent for our school this year
  15. i get made fun of because im chinese and i can't do a chinese accent but indian accents are really, really funny if you have a pro
  16. wow, 100 ppl? my 11th grade class has ~580 are there an equal number of boys and girls? otherwise, that would suck
  17. I could make a remark about your grammar, but it is irrelevant. I made the point quite clear, its in "my claim". have you tried to comprehend my point? this forum seriously needs more intelligent people. can someone intelligent please read my point so this whole argument can close?
  18. i posted this in that other thread, maybe it'll help some people here: lets use some logic my claim: the 2 seconds lost does not make a significant impact lets look at a real life example: You have to get to ___. on the way there are 5 stoplights. say you go normally, and the other instance, you are 1 minute late (you forget to turn off the stove or something). the stoplights are preset to turn red/green at specific times, so the only time that matters is when you actually get to the stoplight. You could leave your house on schedule, 9:30, or late, 9:31 and still stop at the first stoplight at 9:34 or 9:35 and still leave that stoplight at the same time, because the stoplight turns green at 9:36. repeat for the next 4 stoplights. a team of runner is as fast as the slowest runner. now lets compare this to rs - what are those "stoplights"? runescape times itself on "ticks" or frames that are completely independent of user, so computer speed does not affect these ticks (i.e. say a tick occurs at 9:30:00 and ends at 9:31:00, so a pot you drink at 9:30:00 or at 9:30:59 decreases in value by one at 9:31:00 regardless). these ticks work for everything - i guess the server checks for an action every tick, hence, some teleports take slightly (really slightly) more time than others because you teleported right after a tick as opposed to right before. so every time you do something, (go from not moving to moving, loading the bank, withdrawing, etc.) you check for a tick. try teleporting a few times - some are immediate, some are not upon running once, i loaded a minimum of 20 times (3 pouches, glory). thats 20 stoplights. 20 opportunities to put me behind a tick. that assumes thats the bare minumum. what if i fail an abyss entry-thing? what if i have to click more than once to get to one of those things? what if im pming someone (ok, that doesn't have to do with ticks, but it'll likely slow you down even more)? the ditch only adds 1 tick, as opposed to 20+. the ditch may put you behind 2 seconds (hell, when i did it, it seemed like less) but if you fall behind a few ticks anyways (you leave your house 1 minute early), the 2 seconds does not mean anything In conclusion, the ditch does not take a significant amount of time (or any time at all). Yes, it is a nuisance. but so are threads complaining about luring. and threads complaining about updates. hell, those threads take up time, too! in the time it took to type this, i could have run 2 or 3 abyss runs! take out whiners, please

    Braces

I think you have that backwards yea. anyways, it'll be hell for the next 1.5 years. they'll give you wax, USE it. otherwise, you'll cut your mouth a lot
  21. i dont have bad "days", i have bad weeks. which seems to be every week, now...
  22. its not the law of conservation. its the law of conservation of mass-energy. you guys are arguing not to make a point (there is no point, it doesn't even have to do with OP) but to grow your e-genitals. grow up nuclear does produce pollution, through radioactive wastes and heat pollution. the radioactive waste can be stored underground in deserts (nevada, for example), away from contact and water supply. no problem. lots of desert, too. the only problem is the heat pollution - the water used to cool reactors have to go somewhere, directly close to the plant. they go into nearby rivers, which in turn kills wildlife Coal, too has problems. I havent learned too much about it, though, but i know it does produce waste just like nuclear power. only, it cannot be contained and instead goes straight into our air, and down as acid rain. :o
  23. big strides have been made. There is already an effective, safe, and efficient way of turning trash into energy. so why isn't it in use? not enough funding, obviously. I have an article about it (its a long article...), maybe ill find it later...
  24. i still play, the PvP is alright, although with 1.11 enigmas prettymuch was necessary to PK and no, there are no hacks that allow people to make any item they want. there was a duping problem, but that was fixed, pretty recently actually.
