  1. I'm not homosexual but I hate all homosexuals. Just an example telling you to shut up. Hot diggity, did you just try to impede his freedom of speech? Boo, hiss.
  2. Imagine if it had gone off when it was on vibrate...
  3. I'm not OC by any means, but I am pretty pinickity about having all my songs in iTunes just so. I mean like having all songs properly capitalised at the beginning of each word and the exact right album artwork.
  4. Yeah my bet would be with an Arab oil baron, unless Abramovich fancies one :?

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ is all you need to be honest. If you hear a song, look up the tabs and practice. I'd recommend learning some scales and stuff as well, they'll come in handy later for improvising and will improve your technique in the meantime. Try and get 2 to 3 songs on the go and learn them perfectly. Start off slowly and build up your speed. Focus on technique inititally. Flair will come. Most importantly though, have fun!

  11. If i'd taken the title the wrong way, skimmed over the other replies and just read that...
  12. That's good of you, to speak on behalf of all the would-be immature picture posters who ruined the last couple of threads. No ta.
  13. Blame the parents, it's not really the child's consciouss decision to scream their head off, i'm sure in their mind there's a perfectly good, childlike reason. I mean, comeon they've only been in this world for a few years and you expect them to behave like adults out of their own instinct? I think that's asking a little too much really. And if they can't behave all the time you expect the parents to shun them from society? I would say that of all the countries i've visited the most well behaved children generally come from places like France, where children eat out at restaurants from a very young age, but are taught manners and how to behave and all that. You can't just shun them from formal occasions when they're mind is developing then expect them to learn all about social niceties of their own accord, it just doesn't work like that.
  14. What!? I'm an A! Noes! :uhh:

A treble and a bass clef? That's actually pretty original, never seen that done before, and will definitely mean something to you instead of a generic tatoo job. I don't have any tatoos, Personally I think they look better on girls and i'd probably get bored with it eventually. But meh, if you find one you like you may as well go for it.

  18. Hand it in, you'll feel great if you get to know the guy gets it back, and you'll feel much better than if you kept an effectively stolen iPod. To all you saying you'd keep it, shame on you.
  19. Christ you were right...wow, I was not ready for that this early in the morning, bloody hell

Welcome back, always enjoyed your drinking-related posts! :D
  21. Tbh I thought the 'Blink' episode was by far the best one this series. 'Utopia' was okay, kind of interesting way to bring in the Master even though i'm doubting humans still use wind up telephones 50 trillion years into the future :?
  22. Chaos theory...meh. No point worrying about it, you can never predict whether the outcome will be good or bad so you may as well just not worry.
  23. This thread aint goin' nowhere appropriate. Locked.
  24. Many of the New Deals involved the redistribution of wealth by the government. Taking the money from the productive members of society, and giving it to "the needy." Giving subsidies to certain businesses, which then could lower prices and force their competitors out of business. A free market would have self corrected itself fairly quickly. But every New Deal he made went a step further from the free market, and everyone was blaming the free market ideology for the economic problems. The US's Great Depression started in 1929, and wasn't over until about 1942, when the US joined WWII. That's 13 years, and only ended because of the war. 13 years of new deals just kept prolonging the GD. So they should have stuck to Republican do nothing policies? The economic effectiveness of the New Deal is debateable (i'm almost certain it was better than doing nothing, the free market cannot correct itself when people have lost all confidence in the one thing keeping it afloat) but the humanitarian efforts have to be praised as noble, surely? People were given jobs, people built public works projects which were useful later and higher living standards were brought in. Perhaps it comes down to a difference in economic/political ideologies but I can't see how doing nothing would have done any better.
