I believe you can only sell 50k spirit shards at a time. For someone with 2B in spirit shards (approximately one max cash pile) it would require 1600 transactions to sell the 80,000,000 shards (at 25 gp each). That takes a LONG time to do. That's why many uber rich players either invest in rare/expensive items or sacrifice a GE slot to store their extra money (with 6 GE slots, 1 bank space, and your inventory you could potentially have 8 max cash piles or 17,179,869,176 gp). Can also store gp using MTK can't you?

Yeah, i've been testing out different ranging methods there lately, saw you there again today, too bad there are only 1-2 decent servers at any one time... But anyway, i highly doubt sighted mage long+ rune arrows is the best there as karils is both faster with a higher ranged strength, while ranged accuracy isn't tremendously important as traditional range void is better than armadyl. I'm guessing that diamond bolts+chaotic xbos+void(deflector) is actually the very best method, but i'm currently in the process of finding out. Uhm, correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason sighted longbow is better is because it adds accuracy to the cannon aswell, which is the main force when killing frosties, thus making it a better option. The bow you're shooting with isn't that important, and since people are there to make money, diamond bolts + chaotic cbow would be a foolish choice simply because it cuts down on profit alot while not gaining much more usefulness from them. :) Can someone confirm this idea that it adds accuracy to the cannon?

It is a different picture, and I find it very odd that a player mod would be allowed to say such things, when it would most certainly result in a mute or ban for an ordinary player.

120 in sailing will allow you to pilot a submarine, duh

unless they are also meeleing at the same time (such as in pking) most commenly used item sets are useful somewhere, I think the spirit of this thread and a way in which it cannot be locked is we go and find everyone wearing a defence amulet and full addy while maging, not to laugh at someone for using a torso over bandos platebody. This^^^ The guy in my first picture's gear wasn't really that bad on its own, but when combined with his several high level money making skills (hunter, slayer, runecrafting, fishing) and the fact that he was getting 800k worth of bones every trip should have allowed him to be wearing much much better gear, leads to a very strange situation....

The shield isn't the key point of the picture, just clarified what it was due to the angle.

Everyday we see them, almost everywhere we go. People who are wearing gear completely inappropriate to their activity. People who wear bandos to spirit mages, use a dragon long on mithril dragons while wearing a slayer cape, or even those who wear mixmatched addy and rune....at combat 138. This thread is for all those "What the heck is (s)he wearing?" moments. Remember to obscure names and be sure to include anything relevant to make the situation even more interesting. I can't find any proof to back up that claim anywhere.

Under the making money section it lists "Furthermore, those with 44+ RuneCrafting can use their ability to craft multiple air runes per essence to profit slightly for extra cash at the beginning of their raids. The smuggler sells rune essence for 50gp each, and the resale value for 5+ air runes is slightly higher." This was patched when the occult floors were released and you can no longer gain more gp than you spent on essence.

I play it for the best exp/hr, but that is also fun. Its fun to try to meet a challenge and fun to defeat the difficult Occult floors.

How can you say the Ring of Vigour costs less? It takes 50,000 tokens to obtain the ring, lets say an average of 50k exp per hour; that's 10 hours to earn the ring. Zerker Ring is 4.4m which takes 1-4 hours to get depending on your income efficiency. Therefore, Ring of Vigour is 250-1000% more expensive than Zerker Ring.

It's a photoshop job, if you look the sentence that the JMod supposedly said sits lower than normal (The bottom of each letter isn't aligned with the bottom of the colon like it is normally in game). The letters also stray into where you type :P Bad fake is bad. Before you let the euphoria of new content run away with your reason, you should examine the screen shot with jaded eye. No one but someone who wanted to be fooled would be fooled by that one. If you fell for it, you have no one but yourself to blame. Especially not Jagex (sorry people, but they can't be the scape-goat for everything). I haven't played on fixed mode since the day re-sizable became available, so it looked real to me. Oh well. I did find Mod Emilee's forum post of "There isn't a game update today. Nothing is delayed, it wasn't even planned for release today! " to be condescending and somewhat rude. She speaks as if we were supposed to know that the update wasn't planned for today (Tuesday, the day updates are most often released on), the other weeks when updates have not been released on a Tuesday she has made an official sticky saying the update has been pushed back a day, instead of a post on page 8 of a thread. After all the delays in the past month you would think that for once they would want to release something on the day players are expecting it.
